This Is a horrible company. They laid all four of the hardest workers there, without notice. Plus I know from first hand experience they don't do their jobs right and the "manager" Cameron doesn't care, go to Discount tire! They do FREE flat repairs and their tire are so much cheaper even with my discount at four states discount tire was still cheaper with the warranty on the tires, so I bought them there. OSHA has already been called on them and they have already been fined 10,000$ for the store in Cortez and they better fix everything at this store too, I will be calling.

Will never take a vehicle to this place. Took my truck in to have my own tires mounted and balanced with an alignment. When I picked my truck up my bill was $417. I was charged for a four wheel alignment when only my front tires can be aligned $135. They also charged me $108 to change ONE tire stud without even contacting me. This was not how much I was looking to pay one bit. They need to refund me at least $100 or so. This place is a complete joke. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE

Well, I liked them at first and I would still use them for something simple like tires. But I took my truck there for brakes and they changed the front and said the back were fine and it was my heat shield rubbing against something. I ended up taking my truck to my real mechanic two weeks later for rear brakes (said the noise was not the heat shield). I also took my truck in this summer saying my alternator was going. They said it was not, and I appreciated their honesty. Took my truck in this week for a new alternator. At this point, if I need something real done, I have to pick another spot. But Pagosa is a small town so if you need something done on the weekend, you have no choice. But I would have it double check by a real mechanic when you have the chance.

Only place open in a 100mi radius during the weekends leaving you stuck paying excessive prices and waiting for hours.I have spent 4 hours here without any type of warning of the amount of time it would take. I've been watching my car and it's been untouched for a hour.I was told if I didn't come this early they would turn me away at the door. This is probably the longest I've ever waiting for my car to have tires changed. Screw this place, go to Durango if you can.

Stan and Jim are the best tire guys in the business. If you don't stop here and you need new tires, you're not thinking life through these guys will take care of you. Unbelievably

This is the second time this has happened. Drove 1.5 hours to get here only to be told they couldn t get my tires on in time for me to make it home, even though I communicated all my time lines before I left. They were $40 less per tire but the unreliability isn t worth it. Don t go here.

Summary: Charged for a service that wasn t performed. Untrustworthy, go to another local shop.Took my vehicle here for a tire balance while on a trip to Colorado because I had a slight vibration. The issue was not fixed so I assumed it was another issue causing the vibration. Returned to my home mechanic and the tires were 1-2 oz out of balance! Was charged for a service that wasn t even performed. I highly doubt the technicians even removed a wheel. Do not go here for any service big or small.

I took my truck in for a brake job. They charged me for new brakes and turning the rotors. The rotors definitely were not turned. I got over charged for work that wasn't even done.

Went in for an estimate on tires. I thought it was odd that I was asked what size my tires are, when he had a computer in front of him. He never checked on the computer for anything. I found the tires somewhere else $300 less then the estimate I was given.

Got our rental car in and fixed with less than a 20 minute notice. Very friendly and impressed with the service received.

They do excellent work, insist on a follow up check, and never charge more than needed although it would be easy to do. Return customer for sure

Would recommend dropping off for a few hours rather than wait. Was 1st one in at 0730 for oil change and tire rotation. Took exactly 3 hrs. This is the 2nd time I have waited over 2 1/2 hrs for an oil change. Employees are nice, waiting room is nice. Prices reasonable.

I have had several dealing with Four States and they have all been 5 star- Even though Cameron and his team are short handed they do a superior job. My last visit was for a seasonal Tire change out and they went so far as to bag each snow tire so the interior of my 4-Runner stayed clean in transporting them as well so much easier to handle and store. Very Professional Crew. Thank You. Tom

They sold me the wrong rated tires. They installed the wrong tires that they sold me. Then when I asked questions about the tires ratings I was told some mumbo jumbo about how they put different tires on different cars when made. They ended up putting my old bald tires back on. Lucky for me, I have had tire training or my car may have no drive correctly. Funny thing, I was sent from the Pagosa Springs store so more than one sales person got this wrong. I am sure someone will respond with some ridiculous statement. Went to Discount Tire down the street. They not only had what I needed in stock but put them on at the end of the day. Go to Discount Tire if you want properly trained tire people.

Was passing through on vacation and thay had my tire in stock and got me back on my way did not take advantage of my bad situation paid a fare price and got premium service walmart right around the corner and a small park

Meant to comment some time ago. During a trip from Alaska my van balked in southern Colorado and eventually stopped altogether, refusing to re-start. AAA suggested a repair shop in Pagosa Springs. Although that one was fully booked, they were kind enough to suggest 4 State Tire. Cameron, the shop manager answered, listened to my issue description and - I have no clue how he figured this - guessed that one cell in the van battery may not function properly.The van had to be hauled and no sooner did we arrive, Cameron appeared outside with diagnostic tool in hand, ready to examine 'the patient'. Within minutes they hauled the van into an open bay and did more tests. Sure enough, the battery was faulty and needed to be replaced. The entire operation took less than 2 hours, everyone involved gave their best to get me on the road again.On my next trip I made a detour to Pagosa Springs as I was in need of new tires, called ahead, provided tire sizes over the phone and when I arrived there the next day, the tires were already en route from their warehouse. Again, in almost no time my van had new tires and I was on the road again. I highly recommend 4 State Tires and especially Cameron's professionalismA big thank you to all of those guys.

I can understand it s challenging to get good help, but they might benefit from some supervision and coaching.I was was traveling through when I was stranded with a blown tire.It took 4 hrs to get one tire replaced. That included some wait time , but all the other customers seemed to experiencing excruciating long times as well to get serviced.It took at least an hr once the tech started. After seeing no activity for a long time , I checked and found the tire setting by the vehicle . The tech said he was helping with an oil change. At my tire shop at home, they take about 15 minutes, all done .It took another 20 minutes to check tire pressures .They seem to have no sense of urgency to get anything done. Seems like they only get paid by the hr and productivity and. Customers waiting doesn t matter.Be prepared to wait all day if you come here .Then after I got checked out, I noticed the valve cap was missing .That s my experience there. I wouldn t go there again, but there may not be many other options in this area .

I stopped in without an appointment to have tire pressure sensors installed without an appointment. They got me in and installed them fairly quick despite how busy they were. Checked out their tire prices. Will definitely be back next spring for tiresSteve Brown

Great tire shop. Pagosa definitely needed another trie shop. They are very friendly. The building is very new and vary clean lobby. The kids like to watch them though the window. They got us taken care of in a timely manner.

Driving through Pagosa I had nail in my truck tire while pulling my big camping trailer. They got me in and out in about a half an hour and for $20 with a boot and spin balance- without removing my camper. If I lived here, they would get all of my business! Chris the technician was terrific!

Clean, professional and efficient.After arriving in Pagosa with a tire rod issue. I was worried the rest of my already 3500 mile road trip would be stuck to a halt.Cameron originally told me they didn t have time todo an alignment let alone install new tire rods. But somehow they made it happen! Four States Tire & Service went above and beyond getting it done timely and affordably.Thanks for getting us back on the road!

I brought my car in because it was overheating. They were able to squeeze it in even though they were booked up. They successfully diagnosed the problem and fixed it the same day. The final bill was very reasonable and I am sure that they spent more time on it that what they charged me for. I would highly recommend this shop.

Stopped in to get a quote on 2 new sets of tires. Would not price match even though they are "official installers" and actually wanted +$150 more on the first set.Gentleman working there actually told me the new equipment there cost money to have. Will not return or recommend.10/27/2022

Im disappointed! I came in for a tire rotation, but a new tire on the back prevented it, but no alternatives were suggested. Even with the oil change, they had to go get more oil. I asked fir an estimate, that is by appointment only, but not told until I asked at payment time. Look folks, Communication goes a long way. I want your recommendations and I need to know why it s taking too long for a simple oil change. I m really disappointed!

Happy with my experience. had a set of tires installed and the turn around time was quick. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will personally be using them in the future.

We stopped by on a Saturday around 11:30. We had a screw in our tire. Even though they only had one other customer at the time and many employees, we were told they were too busy to plug tires on the weekend.

The manager Cameron, went out of his way to accommodate me and my RV. He set-up a service that was performed during my travel back home that did not delay my trip. Great Customer Service!

Fantastic help and love this new building! I always enjoyed going to the four states in Durango but this was a treat this time. Highly recommended!
