Ran over a tiny nail on one of the unpaved roads in Ouray. Had issues with tire pressure all night. We came in early in the morning and the mechanic diagnosed our issue quickly and got us out in less than 20 minutes. Great staff and price. Thanks for the help, gentleman. I hope we won t be needing your service again but if we do, glad to know we have someone to trust.

These guys are awesome! We were headed out of Ouray for a 14hr trip home... had a horrible screeching sound randomly develop as we were pulling out of our air bnb. Pulled over... googled, and called these guys. There was a rock wedged behind a metal wheel dust cover. They diagnosed it by ear in less than 1 minute. Told us how to get it out on our own. We were on the road in 5 minutes. We tipped them even though they didn't charge us anything. Would definitely go back

Fair and Honest. We stopped in with a flat tire, on our Jeep, coming down off the mountain. On rough road we didn't immediately realize it so I was sure the tire was toast from running on the flat. John checked inside the tire, found the hole and another nail, fixed both punctures and remounted the tire, all for $20. He could've easily sold me another tire and I was ready to pay. When most service companies see out of town plates and needing help, some will take advantage. We are grateful for honest people like Timber Ridge Service Station. Thanks JOHN!

We stopped in and saw Derrick for failed tail lights on a camper. He stopped what he was doing and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. He did not charge us either. My husband forced him to take some cash. What a nice guy. Back to our vacay

Rakes overheated on our '96 Roadtrek just as we arrived in Ouray. The mechanic diagnosed our problem and we were back on the road without further issues. The charge was also very reasonable.

I had a bolt fall out of one of my sway bars and needed a bolt. I came to timber ridge and John the owner who was already terribly busy immediately helped me. He found a bolt and installed it for me, super cool guy, super busy guy. I think it's safe to assume that if you need more than that you're probably going to have to wait.

They quickly and effectively identified a difficult car issue. We had spent $1300 at another shop a couple weeks earlier without them correctly identifying the issue. Timber Ridge fixed the car and saved us from further headaches! Thank you so much!!

I had a flat tire on my last day in Ridgway. I took my car to other tire shops, but they were either busy or refused to fix a tire. The owner of Tiber Ridge Services Station was very kind and the service was super quick! 100%!

We had a road trip across rocky mountain in June. After we long passed Montrose, one of the tire pressure loss signal lighted and we were worried about the tire leakage that affected our trip. Timber Ridge staff was extremely kind and filled the tire with air for free. Very appreciate!

Got a flat tire from off roading and took it here to get fixed. I got in immediately and was informed that the tire was unfixable since the puncture was a split and not a hole. He showed the split to me too. They had a used tire of the exact model and size with a little more tread than the bad tire so I had that installed. Very good price and super quick service. Definite five stars.

We found ourselves with a major brake issue on Sunday while staying in Ouray. We were trying to get back to Denver on Monday so I called first thing Monday morning and they were able to diagnose the problem, get parts delivered and had us fixed and on the road by noon. Even coming to pick us up when the job was completed. Fast, honest and absolutely fair prices. Showed us what was replaced, why it was replaced and even told us some parts he didn't have to use so we wouldn't be charged for them.

We have snow chains that we thought were too big for our tires. We called and came by to attempt to trade our chains out. We unfortunately didn't get his name but, he was sooo awesome!!!! He helped us make our chains fit our car, gave us a couple bungee cords and gave us some great advice! I would definitely recommend!! Thank you soooo much for your help sir! Sorry, we didn't catch your name!!!

Great local service station and gas station ready to give you a helping hand. Had a flat tire a few miles away , and was changing the tire when I found a stripped lug that I couldn't remove. They lent me their tools and a perfectly fitted socket at no charge so I was able to remove the stripped lug. That's great service from a station that obviously cares.

We brought them an unrepairable flat at 4pm on a Tuesday and Steve had a new "odd sized" Cooper tire delivered and mounted early the next day. The price was $3 more than what Discount tire charges in Denver. Fun guys providing Old School service for over 30 years at that place.

Knowledgeable, helpful, price right. I needed my alternator & battery checked because the battery had died & been jumped a couple of times. It took a few minutes. They had the right tools. I checked out ok. They were honest.

We were hiking on Red Mountain Pass when my Jeep Cherokee decided it didn t want to shift into gear (it is an electric push start and the transmission is run by computers). We finally got it going and drove to Ouray knowing if it s computers it might be a lost cause. We brought it to Timberline and they were so nice and thorough. They first checked for any physical damage from marmots (as is a typical problem in this area) and when that was ruled out ran a computer diagnostic. While we aren t totally sure why it decided to randomly go on the fritz they were able to reset the system and I made it back to Colorado Springs with no more issues. They were courteous and kind and professional and I would definitely utilize their services again if need be ( though I hope I won t have to!).I ve since taken my Jeep to the dealer and apparently there is a recall for that issue with no known fix... but resetting the computers seemed to work for now!

We pulled into Ouray towing a Jeep with a bad case of the death wobbles behind our motorhome. Could not have been more fortunate to find the Timber Ridge Service Station, and Mr. Steve Duce, right outside the RV park at which we were staying. Steve quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts at 3:30 the afternoon we arrived. The repairs were professionally completed by early the next afternoon and at a very fair price. Thanks again, Steve!

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. After getting horrifically lost trying to find a trailhead, we left my CRV with 2 flat tires on a terrible 4x4 road below Engineer pass when we decided we couldn't make it any farther down without getting it stuck or seriously damaging the underside of the vehicle. We rode with some other people down to Ouray and at the hotel we found the owner recommended Timber Ridge to get my SUV down. We walked there in the morning and spoke with the owner, and he told us they would take up two tires and drive my SUV back down. I have no clue how they did it but they got my poor CRV back down from a place no CRV should ever go. The owner even brought it to the place we were staying and came to me in person as I didn't have phone service for them to call me. Then we discussed replacing my other tires as well so I would have a full set of the same. I dropped it off the next morning and they replaced my other tires for me first thing. They are so nice and helpful and have some crazy good driving abilities. Thank you so much Timber Ridge!

WOW - great, old-fashioned, American service from Steve at Timber Ridge! I live out of town between Montrose and Ridgway, CO and found a flat tire on my pickup this morning. I called my insurance company roadside assistance for help. They called me back and said none of their regular service providers in Montrose could help me. They all said it would require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to my home, and - get this - that they would have to deal with snow!!! Um - I live right off a well maintained county road and it's July and 90 degrees outside - no snow to be seen! The providers in Montrose are simply worthless and lazy! Safeco Insurance Roadside Assistance stepped up to the plate, got on the internet, and got me set up with Timber Ridge Service Station in Ouray. Even though they are not a regular roadside service provider with my company, Steve agreed to do the service, called me immediately, and came right up to take care of my flat tire. He was GREAT - had the trouble taken care of in a jiffy, and took my flat back to his shop for repair! I can't recommend this business highly enough! It's very difficult to find service minded businesses these days, especially in this area of the country, but Timber Ridge Service Station goes above and beyond the call !!! Anita Carlisle

I appreciate the fact that this is a real service station and not another unattended gasoline dispensing center. This neither a convenience store with a burger king attached to the side. This is the real deal garage a small community needs to thrive. If you have a vehicle that wont start or get stuck in a snowy ditch, Steve will be sure to set you straight. One of the few places left that offers free air to pump up your tires. Many locals in Ouray depend on Timber Ridge for vehicle repairs small and large. We are so lucky to have them here!

We thought we needed new brakes after they gave out on Molas pass- being on vacation and desperate, it would've been very easy for these guys to take advantage of us, but they didnt even try. They were honest and told us we did not actually need new brakes, they had just overheated, which is fairly common in that region. Can't say enough good things about this service station!

I got to these boys and filled up my bike and then realized I had lost my wallet. When I figured out where I might have lost it, they went online, got on the phone, made calls and recommended a friendly Sheriff who would help. They did it without drama and without fuss. They just took it all on and made me feel it was all just fine. I am grateful to them for that. If I can get their email, I have a nice picture or two of those boys I can send their way.The Brit.

Worst shop in the area!!!! As a local in the community we took our truck in to have tires changed they changed one out of four told us to come back in the morning at 7 as they were closing and didn't have time to Finnish them, so we did that only to arrive at 7 am to be told that they wouldn't be able to get to it at all. Not to mention the last time dealing with this shop they over charged me for a tune up that they never did in the end the shop cost and the tow bill wasn't worth even taking it to them because my bronco didn't make it a quarter mile up the road before dieing due to issues that were supposed to be fixed and ended up messing up more things ....will not ever go back or refer anyone beware they will mess up your vehicle and your day worse than it already was.
