Went in there asking for the price on the installation of a AC unit on my Jeep Wrangler. Guy said the installation starts at around 4000$ dollars ( which sounds outrageous compared to other places I've gone to) and on top of that he said that there was no space for me this YEAR and that I would have to come back next year, I guess AC installation is not important for him and is not a priority. If you guys want to make business with this people I recommend you go a year in advance or maybe you will get lucky and the guy will actually want to make business with you. But that is not how a business should be run. 0 Stars if I could.

J.C. restored the factory a/c in my 1965 Mustang. He worked with me and advised me on the best parts to maintain the factory appearance but have the serviceability of a modern setup. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out, he understood what I wanted and delivered. The air blows cold, everything works like new, and it looks great! His customer service was great and pricing was very reasonable. J.C. will take good care of your classic car.

It was a pleasure to meet JC. He is knowledgeable, ethical and the customer service is superb. He found out that the serpentine belt was not properly installed and charged me a very reasonable amount for his time and expertise. I will definitely recommend the shop to family and friends.

This was my 2nd time using this company. I can't say enough about J.C. the owner who is so kind and helpful, I mean pick your adjective. Unfortunately my vehicle being to old could not be fixed by tradition methods. However J.C. explained how I could do it myself as a temporary bandage to get me through the winter as I had no heat. I appreciate his time and patience's and will forever recommend his company and services as someone who you can thoroughly trust which is becoming more and more rare. Thanks again J.C.

Took my car to a reputable repair shop and they quoted me $1700 to fix my a/c. Saw Julian s shop and thought I d give them a try. Julian fixed it for $300! And not to mention the other shop what they wanted to replace for $1700 would not have even fixed it. So nice to work with a shop that has morals and integrity, I couldn t recommend them any higher!

"JC" is an absolute "Wizard" @ the knowledge level he has. He fixed in 1 week what my Best Mechanic couldn't in over 5 months on a New Retrofit 134A Air Conditioning system on my 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. If I could clone the owner, JC, and have him available to fix all the stuff that breaks, my life would be carefree. I bought my Honda Civic brand new in 1991. 28 years and 350,000 miles later, I cannot give it up, but unfortunately things are beginning to fall apart. I visit my regular mechanic, A & H Auto Care in Centennial for most of my repairs, but when it come to anything involving the AC unit, Colorado Auto Air is the only place for me, despite the drive from Parker. My car was overheating while using the AC. JC quickly figured out that one of the coolant fan wires was not attached properly. He was also able to fix my radio speaker. I have yet to meet anyone as competent and professional as JC.

JC took care of my 5th gen 4runner like his own. Needed a new A/C compressor and he was by far the most honest quote I had for the service. He used great parts and replaced only what was necessary for my vehicle/situation. JC is simply the best when it comes to taking care of A/C systems. I dropped my car off in the morning with him and he walked me through what he would be doing: testing my system for leaks, removing the refrigerant and weighing it to see if there was any missing, then recharging my system with the factory correct amount of refrigerant. He was a pleasure to chat with and he answered all of my questions as I was waiting for a ride back to my house. Upon completion, I caught a ride back, paid for it, and we chatted some more about things he saw (such as low coolant, which he refilled for me) and sent me on my way. I just wish I had more cars to bring to him for service!Service: Auto A/C recharge

Bought a 2010 Honda fit on a cold day. Didn't test A/C. Seller never told me the compressor went out and they used a smaller belt to bypass the compressor instead of fixing it before selling it to me. I took it in to JC, and he looked into it and was very honest with me. I know little about A/C systems and could have easily been mislead and over charged. He swapped in a new compressor and new belt. Showed me the old compressor and explained what was wrong with it. Fair price and great service. JC diagnosed my cooling issues within a few hours. He also advised me, what would be the best decision, considering the condition of my car. He offered a price quote to fix the compressor, fixed power windows and inside fan. I find his knowledge and experience exceptional and would consider him an expert in his field. I couldn't be happier with their work. Fixing the AC problems on my son's Ford Explorer was a challenge, but they came through. Price and workmanship were excellent, but the customer service was what prompted this review. Like I said, it was a difficult fix. A major part was missing (not sure why), and there was a leak no one else could find. They kept me up to date on everything that was happening every day. They recapped the work being done, and got it back to us a quick as was humanly possible. I highly recommend this shop. You won't be sorry.Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Brought my F-150 in because it wouldn t hold an A/C charge and I couldn t find a leak. I set up an appointment, dropped my truck off early AM, and had a diagnosis in less than 2 hours. Had a new condenser installed by the end of the day with a cost less than originally quoted. He also said to bring it back in if I had any trouble with it. Two weeks later still blowing cold! Was very nervous about taking my truck in somewhere new, but I would definitely recommend this company to anyone experiencing A/C troubles.Service: A/C installation & repair

We called in the morning and spoke with JC. He got us in right away and finished the job within a couple of hours. He was able to get the car AC up and running very quickly and fully explained what the issue was. Great price, great service, and we felt good about whole experience. Excellent service shop for anything AC! Went in knowing I had some kind of issue with my AC on my Chevy Astro but not knowing what. JC did a thorough evaluation and discovered metal and debris all through the system. He rebuilt the entire AC system and I was back on the road with ice cold air within a week. My granddaughter bought a 2013 Hyundai as is from Car Time. Big mistake. Within 2 weeks it blew the engine. Thanks to the Hyundai dealership, the engine was replaced on a special recall. However, after engine was replaced, the AC blew hot air at idle. Also engine overheated at idle. I flew from Virginia July 12, 2021 to help her resolve the issues. Before I left for Denver I read some Google reviews about Colorado Auto Air. I was so impressed with the detail provided by the reviewers, I had a good feeling that they could help. We called on July 13 and made an appointment for July 14 to have Julian assess the problems. I had only two days before I returned to Virginia. He called us July 14 to advise that the AC was repaired. He had diagnosed and repaired the problem. The cooling fan was defective and thus no air was moving over the radiator or condenser. The Hyundai dealership said they had fixed the problem a blown fuse. Unfortunately they didn t bother to determine why the fuse was blown. Julian put in another fuse, and it too blew. He traced the problem to the blower fan motor. He replaced the entire blower motor assembly, and that resolved both overheating problems. The charge was a very reasonable $268. We insisted on rounding up to $300 because of his prompt, professional service. Now if I have AC problems on my cars, I will just drive to Denver to have Julian repair! I am 81 years old, and I have never experienced this level of auto service! Thank you, Julian. I can now sleep knowing my granddaughter has a cool car!Harold (Hal) FrantzService: Air conditioning

Exceptional service! JC is excellent. Not only did he fit me in almost 1.5 weeks early but he got my car s AC fixed in the middle of a super hot summer within a 4h window. I dropped my car off early one morning and had it fixed and picked up before noon. Great customer service! Would strongly recommend!

Absolutely amazing guy. Far prices, guarantees his work, takes care of the car. He also KNOWS heating and cooling! He got my 87 Fiero with a custom A/C setup working perfectly! (It had been leaking for years)I was out of town and he finished three days early. Not only did he check to make sure the A/C was still working every morning and not leaking (which of course it wasn t), but he also made sure my car was inside every night till I picked it up!!I will ALWAYS take my A/C and heating issues to JC, it doesn t matter how complex, he can fix it.

My truck was no longer blowing cold air and it was close to 100 degrees out and hoping to get fixed the same day. Went to this location based on their reviews and wasn't disappointed at all. Owner was extremely professional and an expert at what he does. Was able to fix my AC issue same day and was able to get it done a little less than what he quoted me. Will be taking my family's other vehicle to have its AC checked too!

Joe was very honest and upfront about the repairs to our minivan. He explained in detail the problem ( he even showed me the part that needed to be fixed) and gave me an estimate with no hidden charges. I thought he gave me a reasonable rate , but after I had talked with other mechanics, I found he gave me an amazing rate that was far below what a dealership would have cost. Thanks Joe for the wonderful service and keeping my family cool this summer without costing us a fortune.

My AC worked but wasn't as cold as I thought it should have been, so I made the mistake of trying to charge myself using one of those cans you can buy at the big box stores. Long story short, it became quickly obvious I overcharged my AC.JC was super friendly and knows his stuff. He got me in the garage and fixed up in less than 30 minutes and at a great price. If I have any issues with my AC or electrical I wont hesitate to give JC a call again. Great business to work with.

These guys are great, fast, friendly, honest. They fixed three of my vehicles in a week. All of them had no cold air at all and are now working great in 100+ degree temp stop and go traffic. The owner (JC) was awesome. I had a blown seal in my AC system and he fixed it, recharged my AC and he was done in no time. Can't remember when I had such great service and for such a reasonable price. Like I said he was awesome.

I called in to see if they had time to look at my truck because the AC started working when it wanted. Julian let me know he had time to look at it he had it diagnosed in under 5 minutes and let me know he had a quick fix that should keep me going for a while. A few minutes later all was working and the cost was less than most shops charge for diagnosis. I own 5 vehicles for my business and I will be bringing all of them for AC & Electrical service, and suggesting him to all my friends.

Went to JC today because he came highly recommended by a neighbor and based on google reviews. He was so nice, honest, quick and a pleasure to do business with! Our bill was lower than we had anticipated, and he fixed our AC in just a few hours. We will definitely be back to JC if we ever need additional AC service, and will recommend him to all our friends and neighbors. Thanks JC!

Rare one of a kind mechanic that you hold on to! There are many good mechanics out there but JC is one of the best! After 5 previous mechanics in the past 5 years failed to fix my air conditioning problem, JC quickly identified the issue. He took the time to explain in detail what was wrong, using my old parts compared to new parts, he showed me his diagnostic machine readings and explained how the everything works together to make my air conditioning system work. He is personable, expert in his field and courteous. I trust his expertise completely.
