Great customer service, came in with a small and weird request of trying to get my rollerblade wheels out (they were completely stripped and I ve been running around for 2-3 weeks at different shops and no one could do it) and they were happy to help me out. Overall a great experience!

I always receive great, friendly and quick service here! Very easy to book my routine oil changes online. Recently, went in for an oil change and they went above and beyond by fixing my car door that had been popping everytime I opened it. Didn t even ask for them to look at this but they fixed it for free. I m so grateful and will keep coming back!

I was recently given atrocious customer service by Silas,a manager, and his staff on April 10, 2024. I was told an estimate would only take 20 minutes when I called the day before and asked about using my own parts as well. I explained I was going to come over on a lunch break and that I'm a single mom keeping a tight budget so I wanted to bring my own parts to avoid the markup for imaginary warranties. What happened is totally unacceptable. It took more than 2 hours to get just an ESTIMATE, no actual work was being done, and when I got to the shop in person I was told no in using my own parts. I have a source for parts I refuse to pay markup. You are literally the first shop to fight me on this too with a price match. Not only did you waste my entire break, make me an hour late returning to work but you reassembled my right front wheel INCORRECTLY so the hardware was rubbing!!! So I had to come back to get it put back together correctly! UM ISN'T THIS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR THING!?You haven't even done any work on my vehicle and I will never set foot in ANY of your locations ever again.

I trust Kevin and his team to diagnose problems, offer viable solutions, and perform needed work. I have a 2008 vehicle I just love. Given the age of the vehicle, there is ample opportunity to 'expand' on the scope of work. This team, with Kevin as the leader, explains work needed vs work that may be needed, offering pros and cons. I can say with certainty that no work performed at this Brakes Plus has come back for a do over. Great place, good people.

I highly recommend going to this Brakes Plus. Kevin and his team helped get by car back on the road after it had been sitting for a few years. I was hoping to use it on a road trip since my main car was totaled. I tired to fix it myself before I had it towed here. It took less then a day for Kevin to get it back on the road. I went all the way to Cleveland and back with no problems at all. Thanks again Kevin! Next time I have a problem with my car I know where I'm taking it.

Silas V. Was very friendly and helpful. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and they exceeded expectations. My car has a dent/ crease between the front fender and door, it makes an awful popping sound when I open the door, they were able to adjust the dent so that it would not make the sound when I open my door. It s not a permanent solution, but was very thoughtful of them. Thanks!

Brakes Plus in Monument has taken care of our families car needs for the past several years. Kevin runs a great shop and they always do a great job communicating even when it s bad news with expensive repairs. If you want clarity on an issue they will pull you back in the shop and show you the issue. They have saved our family on a few potential car purchases too by looking over vehicles and pointing out potential issues.I really appreciate the entire team at Brakes Plus from Chris, Dominic, and the new team member Silas. My wife doesn t feel like I should know all their names as that means we are in the shop too often. I know there names because they keep my teenage drivers and family safe!

Chris and Nick were amazing to help. They were kind and knew what they're doing. I went in there asking to check one thing for me,, and they came out only telling me what the one thing was about. Didn't try to find other problems or trying to squeeze out more money. I'd recommend this location 100%. Awesome service with awesome people that know what they need to do. Thanks Brakes Plus. Will return

By far the best service I ve experienced since moving to Colorado. I ve been to a few service places but nothing like this Brakes plus. They really care and took care of all of my service needs. They even give my son some toys and coloring pages and crayons to keep him occupied. Dominic was very helpful and Kevin was absolutely outstanding in working with me to best suit my budget and needs. Thank you! You have gained a customer for life.

Went in for an alignment and the guys here were very helpful (especially Silas(?) who took care of me directly). They were efficient, fair with pricing, and didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary (which, as a single woman, is a concern). Will definitely be coming back to the Monument location.

Kevin and his team here are some of the best mechanics I've had the pleasure of having to work on my vehicle. Whether it's himself or Dominic at the front counter you can trust that you will get the most professional customer service in regards to what needs to be done so you can make an informed decision and get you back on the road in no time!

Brakes Plus in Monument takes care of you like you are family. They go the extra mile and stay late to make sure the job is done right and the customer is taken care of at a fair price. Highly recommend. They do much more than just brakes!

I was traveling towards Denver when my low tire pressure light came on due to the cold weather. At a local gas station, I was told that Brakes Plus would fill your tires at no charge. It only took 5 minutes, and I was back on the road again. Excellent customer service!

I dropped my vehicle off on Thursday asking them to diagnose loud clanking coming from the passenger side front tire that had just started. They didn't get a chance to look at it until right before close and said it was extremely low on oil and the sway bar links were broken on the driver side(not where the issue was) and loose on the passenger side (where the noises are). And it's safe to drive so I can bring it back the next days for repairs. I check the oil when i get there and it's right at the max line on the dipstick where it should be but they didn't say they added any. Friday drop it off before noon and have made an appt online. No calls until I call them and they tell me it's done. I can't get a ride until they are almost closed and when i get to the vehicle i notice the passengee side looks lower than the other. But I'm not a mechanic so i figure its just a lopsided parking lot and hop in to go back to work. The van promptly makes the exact same noises i brought it in for on Thursday. I have to get back to work and they are closed anyways so i call first thing on Saturday and ask for the manager. He personally found that the shock mount had magically broken since his guy had test drove it and i picked it up. Although the symptoms it was brought in for did not change in any way until the shock was replaced which logically means the shock was the issue in the first place. If that had been discovered in the first place i would have had the shocks only done and waited on the sway bar since I'm not made of money and now I'm feeling ripped off. They did great for brakes but I would not recommend them for any other type of repair...update tried to reply to the email the owner responded with and get undeliverable response

Walked into the Monument, Colorado-Jackson Creek location today in a panic. My 2011 Jeep Wrangler was stuck in 4 wheel drive Low because the cable broke and we were headed back to Denver from a swim meet. Chris Ford initially had some concerns about being able to get it fixed before close but he walked into the service bay and asked if there was a solution to make it drivable. The General Manager volunteered to try and knock it out. 15 minutes later we are in 2 wheel drive and almost home! I have been using Brakes Plus for 6 years, the service and quality have ALWAYS been top notch. The fact that they valued my time and pain as much as they did and always do means the world to me! The cost is always reasonable if not charitable and the stuff they fix stays fixed! Thank you Chris and the team at Monument, I was already loyal but now I m lifetime!

One of the few places that will still turn/mill rotors. Most places now just want to replace the whole rotor. I'd previously replaced my brakes with them and bought the lifetime guaranteed brake pads--they still honored that even though there was only about 1mm of pad left! They'd also previously turned the rotors so there wasn't enough left to do that, so I just replaced them. Communication with Phil was awesome! He was quick to get me a quote and options. And there was no pressure to upsell me on stuff. I trust these guys.

These guys quickly fixed a problem with our Sequoia that has been bugging us for over a year, a mysterious popping / clicking noise that started after I replaced the struts. Turned out to be sway bar links, which would have been the last place I d look. Had a coupon for oil change and Dominic was kind enough to find us another one for the transmission service as we were checking out. Highly recommend this business.

I wish I could give more than five stars!! Chris and his team saved my breaks and even stayed after hours to get my car to me before I went to work. Exceptional customer service, they work hard and are eager to please! Thanks Chris! And thank you to the whole team.

I dropped my car off at 12:30 in the afternoon for a free brake inspection to see if I was due for some new brake pads - they didn't even look at my vehicle until 5:45PM. Service Advisor Chris Ford told me I needed new rear brake pads and calipers and quoted me $931 to complete the service the following day. I went to another mechanic to see if I could get a better estimate only to find out there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brake pads or calipers - just needed some grease! They will lie directly to your face and try to scam you out of almost a thousand dollars. Not my first bad experience with them either. A year prior they quoted me $1600 for new brake pads and rotors on a 2011 Subaru Legacy and I was able to get them done for $700 at another mechanic. Do NOT trust them!

Went to have my oil changed and needed a lot more. Josh helped me so much and explained everything in a way that didn't make me feel stupid. He was an amazing help and I'm so glad he was there to ease my anxiety about the entire situation.

Wow! Very impressed all around. Shawn at the front desk was very professional - not pushy or sales-y at all. The store was clean, there is free WiFi, and they had my oil change and tire rotation completed in less than an hour. The price was unbeatable and they were far more organized than the place across the street (where I tried to go first but ended up leaving because they were so slow). This is a great place to take your vehicle for service.**Quick Edit - right after this review, the guy from the shop came in. They will push for all kinds of things to do done. Fortunately, I was in a fleet vehicle and declined...but buyers beware! I think trust needs to be developed before up selling can happen. Review moved down to 3 stars as I hate that stuff***Edit to respond to owner: This is not a people problem...it s a process problem. Stop focusing on making $$ in the short term and treat customers so they ll come back for the long term.

The two team members who man the front desk, Chris and Kevin the manager, are experienced technicians and excel at customer service - they will ensure you get the needed maintenance done on your vehicles at fair prices and without fear of upselling! My single negative of coming here as my go-to service center, has been Dominic - he's simply a toxic individual and outright glares at customers. This location would be outstanding without the toxicity he brings.

I had a problem with a stuck bearing race on a HMMWV axel shaft. I took the shaft into Brakes Plus and asked if they could remove the race. They told me they had several options that might work and would willing to give it a shot. As they progressed through their options, each a bit more complicated than the last, they kept me informed. After almost an hour of work, they were able to remove the race without any damage to my $350 axel shaft. The store manager, who apparently did most of the work, handed me back the axel, thanked me for trusting them and told me to have a nice day. I asked what I owed him and he told me "nothing." Then said he's just happy to help a neighbor. I'll definitely be back. THANK YOU Brakes Plus Monument.

The crew here is hard-working, honest, and caring. I thought I needed brakes but it turned out I needed new front wheel bearings. They accurately quoted me a cost and worked that day to get me done and on the road. I'm a middle aged woman and I didn't feel cheated, talked down to or put off like two other shops in the area had already done up me. I would highly recommend this brakes plus. I'll be going back!

I don't think I have ever been to a Brakes Plus in the past, but was recommended to me by my father-in-law. This particular location is pretty close to where we were visiting in Monument, CO... So I gave it a try. Basically on a trip from southern Texas to Monument, CO I noticed that the brakes were pulsing at high speeds, typically indicating to me that one or more of the rotors were warped on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. If I were home I would just do the brakes myself as I always do, but without the tools I had to depend on a local place. I had replaced the front calipers in the last couple years, as well as front and rear rotors and pads. Not at the same time, but all within the past 2 years.Asked for brake inspection, as well as finding where the pulsing feeling was coming from, and fix/ replace the needed hardware. Inspection resulted in the tech pulling me into the bay to show me the wear past service life of the front pads and rotors so those needed to be replaced and more than likely where the warp feeling was coming from. Rear inspection brakes looked new, and rotors were fine... So just an adjustment to the emergency brake was needed. Sounded fair to me... Didn't upsell anything, was to the point and I appreciate that. Now for costs... I know I have replaced pads on this Jeep for about 75 bucks, and rotors for about 125ea... So I knew costs for hardware would exceed 300, add probably 200 in labor, I expected around 500-600 dollars. With the inspection and adjustment of the rear emergency brake, new premium pads for the front and new rotors plus tax and labor it came to just over 600 dollars. That's after a veterans discount was applied as well. I feel the cost was a little high considering time to do the work was about an hour, maybe a little more once inspected. Not much more than I expected though, so I consider it to be reasonable, but slightly high.Result... No warp feeling in the braking at high speeds and the emergency brake holds better on these hills in Colorado... No complaints. Thanks for the good work, and friendly atmosphere while I waited for the service to be done. Docked a star for costs... As I feel labor per hour was a bit excessive. But overall happy with this Brakes Plus location.
