I can not say enough great things about this company. We were traveling from out of state and our water pump went out. They squeezed us in and had us up and going in no time and at a great price! They were super friendly and even gave us traveling tips.

All repair shops are very busy in town, this place was able to fix my Expedition on the spot. Repair was quick and fair price. I appreciate the fact that they looked around and let me know of other problems that need attention soon. Also got a lot of advice and explanation. This while being busy like all other shops.

These guys are so helpful and thoughtful! I was told by another shop (a national chain) that I needed work totaling over $1200, but Ken gave me an honest assessment and saved me over $1000. And they scraped my windows and cleaned all the snow off when I went to pick it up....Best service in town, hands down!

This shop was amazing at getting me back on the road ASAP! I was on a wheeling trip in my daily driver jeep when i cut a sidewall wheeling. I called them as soon as they open and they said to bring the wheels on by and they would take care of me. When i brought them there, ken asked how quickly i needed them done by, i told him im on a wheeling trip so the sooner the better. He literally started almost before our conversation was over! Great customer service, when i came in the next day to get a quick alignment before my trip back down to Phoenix, ken was quick to squeeze me into 5he balancing and alignment. Jess their mechanic was the one working on my jeep. He was so nice! And was very welcoming. Would 100 % recommend these guys! Will return if i ever need car service while in Montrose! Thnks for keeping me wheeling and keeping me safe on my drive home! From the guy with the white 4door jeep with the hemi!

We are so grateful to Elk Creek! We were visiting southwestern Colorado from Arizona when we had a mishap that destroyed a tire. As we called around to try to replace it, it quickly became apparent that the small tire our Hyundai uses - one that is so easily found in big cities - is pretty rare in rural Colorado! :-D As we had already put about 50 miles on the donut spare, we were beginning to be afraid that we'd have to have our vehicle towed 75 miles to the nearest dealership. Then, Elk Creek offered to have a comparable tire overnighted all the way from Denver. Bless his heart, the gentleman even seemed apologetic that it would take 24 hours! We are just so happy that they were willing to do it. Thank you, Elk Creek, you saved our vacation!

Our van broke down outside of town and we needed to get back to Denver as our daughter was having a baby. Ken put us to the front of the line, did an excellent repair job at a very fair price and we were on our way.Thanks Ken & Elk Creek Automotive.Highly recommendCharlie & JaneSalida, CO

While getting studded snow tires, I was informed that I should think about fixing my rear brakes as they were down to about 30%. I called and made an appointment to get new front shocks and rear brakes. After the car had been on the lift a short time, Ken and another employee came to me and asked whom had told me that I needed new brakes? I replied that the people that had installed the tires told me that. Well, they told me that my brakes were fine at somewhere between 50-60%, and did not want to install them unless I insisted!They will definitely get my business again, along with my recommendation for anyone needing auto work in our area.

Professional quality service at a reasonable price. If you do not care about any of the fore mentioned, don t bother coming here. Our family have been bringing our vehicles to Ken and Melissa for thirteen years. Trust is everything.

These guys are awesome. On super short notice they replaced a cracked rear rotor and broken brake caliper on my 22' Class B RV and got me right back on the road. I'm so lucky I found 'em. Thanks to all.

I called for quote. The lady owner asked for my last mame. I try to explain to her that Im missing teeth and I can not pronounce my last name clear enough for her to understand me on the phone. She hung up on me before i got to even explain. I called back and explained and she was still rude. Extreemly disrespectfull person. Can not support this buisness.

I was taken care of by Ken..Owner. I had a drive train vibration in my 2000 mustang, I had a number of "other automotive" businesses diagnose and proceed to replace what they said was the problem....after rebuilding or replacing parts and a couple Thousand dollars later I still had the problem and They Had My Money....Then I called Ken at Elk Creek I told him my problem, he told me to bring it in and he would check it out for me.....Boy did he check it out, he checked everything to do with the drive train from pulling the wheels and driveshaft, then test driving, then on the lift again, then he spotted the possible problem...a worn harmonic balancer. He told me what it would cost, he even told me if I could find the parts for less he would still install them......He must have spent an hour of his shop time to help me out and only charged me $8.00 for a little lost tranny fluid......I'm here to tell you MONTROSE if your like me and don't know a Reputable place to take your vehicle? I found the place....ELK CREEK AUTOMOTIVE....not only is Ken a great guy, its a family run business too, I've met his wife and son and they are people just like us....they know how tight money is for a lot of us and they understand and do what they can to make your experience as painless as possible. The rest of Ken's staff are hard working young men with young babies and families and they are the nicest group of hard workers I've met in a long time. I give Ken and Staff a 10 out of 10....Thanks Ken its nice to know that there are folks that have a Heart for others....cant say enough...you guys Rock!!

My tire blew out coming home to Denver and the friendly folks here helped me out. Walmart told me it would be two days to get tires and elk creek got me four brand new Nokians in 45 minutes. Only bad part is they aren't closer to Denver so I can't be a regular!
