Mares did a bunch of work on an older car I just purchased to get it ready to drive. After they were done everything was perfect. Great work and the price seemed fair for how much work they did. My only complaint is they have a hefty upcharge for running a card as opposed to cash/check.

Ian took care of me last second when I had been working all day and needed a tire swapped out. The service and prices were on point. I appreciate you Ian and I will be back to get my other tires taken care of or should I need some help otherwise. Top notch place, I'm glad I called!

I'm new in the area and wasn't sure where to go. Based on reviews I went here and wasn't disappointed! The service was excellent. I can truly say they went above and beyond and the pricing was fair.Edit: I'm no longer doing the area, I've gone to Mares for the last several years and can wholeheartedly recommend them. Very much the neighborhood garage you want to have around.

Mares is the best auto mechanic shop around. We always take all of our cars there. My daughters car belt pulley broke and it punctured the radiator. They fixed it at a great price. Unknown to us the tire had a nail in it, they just fixed it without even making a deal about it. I ve had my vehicles serviced here for years. I recently had another service, super friendly! We haven t had a problem yet they couldn t tackle! I wouldn t have anyone else service my cars. Great local business,honest quality service! David is the best!

I stopped by to get air in my tire! Not only did the guy (David I think) check ALL my tire pressures he wouldn t accept $$. He was just friendly and customer oriented! Which is almost non existent these days!! Thanks guys!!

We had such a great experience here with Daniel. He went out of his way to ensure our tire issue was fixed the best possible way. We tried to have our tire patched but it was too damaged, he ordered a tire and had it the next morning. Quick repair and good price.

Mares Auto is a great place to take your vehicle to get fixed! David and Eric are always very friendly and get the job done very quickly! I would highly recommend taking your vehicle in to them to get it fixed. I have nothing but positive things to say about them and the shop!!!!!

After reading the reviews on Mares I decided to take them my Honda for a driver side window regulator replacement. After the first part was installed I noticed the window was not going up correctly in the track causing an open space on the rear of the window. Then the window just stopped working. I took the car back for the second time and another regulator was needed and ordered and installed. Again I could tell right from the start the window was not going up correctly in the track. We talked about getting new tracks but that was never confirmed as the problem. I picked the car up for the second time and immediately saw the top right corner was out of the track. It was obvious that s the window was dropping down on the front causing the rear to come out of the track and leave an open space at the top. I had to get the window fixed correctly and obviously didn t trust Mares to go at it a third time so I decided to try B&E Auto Paint and Collision in Brighton. Brandon was awesome and immediately saw the window was mis aligned in the track and he had it fixed in thirty minutes. With a few simple adjustment the window goes up and down perfectly. I mailed to Mares the $52 bill and asked that they reimburse me for the cost I paid to have the window correctly adjusted in the tract. I haven t heard anything from them. I feel they took my car out of service for several days and never fixed the window correctly. I don t think asking for the $52 was out of line considering I had already paid Mares over $300 for a window they never 100% fixed. I would think twice before going to this shop unless you are looking for a simple oil change.

If you need car repairs this is the best place to go.David is honest, friendly and a great mechanic. I would not take my car anywhere else.

I ended up blowing a tire west of Milliken. This was the nearest location, and despite them not having a replacement tire, they switched my tire to the spare, which I was too dumb to figure out how to get loose from under the car. And they were nice enough to not even charge me. Would happily pay them for a service of I had to.

I love Mares Auto Tire and Repair. Other than knowing them from being in school together I'm sure glad they stuck around Milliken and johnstown. They have always done a good job and I've never had to worry bout them screwing me over like a lot of places do. I trust them completely. Great family that is very trustworthy.

Very disappointed. A job that would have cost less than $500 is now going to cost me >$2000 thanks to these people. They have no CLUE. AND they broke a bolt off in my engine block, not to mention a couple of other things. Then to top it off, they LIED to my husband and told him they didn't touch anything. The new mechanic showed my husband the fresh pry marks that were made by Mares where the bolt is broken off and the other pieces are not intact. These guys may be able to repair a tire but I don't think they know anything about engines. And, ever since the people at Mare's touched my car, my entire A/C and heating system doesn't work as it should. Turn on the vent...no air comes into the cab through the vents...the Defroster runs...on HIGH...and hit the defroster....nothing happens...I am extremely dissatisfied with the NON service provided by Mare's in Milliken CO.
