Rob @ Lone Wolf Auto is definitely worth finding off the beaten path. Mounted a LED light bar for me then I returned few days later for him to replace rear brakes on our RAM 2500 as we are full time RV'ers and simply couldn't do the job @ the campground. Only took him 1/2 hour but with him being such a great guy and easy-going we wound up just talking about diesel deletes and Life. Thanks Rob for all you do.

If you're ever unlucky enough to have car trouble, I hope that you have car trouble in or around Marcos, Colorado so that you can have the pleasure of visiting Rob at Lone Wolf.I found myself with a mysterious car problem late in the day on a long-distance road trip. Rob was kind, curious, and extremely thorough. He is a gem of a mechanic and an all around good guy.

The guys at Lone Wolf are very friendly and provide excellent service. I took my truck in for an oil change and it was easily the best experience I've ever had with auto maintenance. Rob does a great job and he is very reasonably priced! He did shocks, brakes , CCV filter,New belt and pulley! I would highly recommend him for anything! We were on a road trip and noticed our engine started overheating the the July heat. I called Rob to see if there was a chance he could help us out and even though it was a Saturday evening, he had us come in and he got everything back up and running really quickly. For anyone with car problems in the Cortez area, I can t recommend Rob enough!

Rob was so great! Super nice guy and definitely knows what he is doing. Came out on a Sunday, had the part order Sunday, car was ready to rock before lunch on Monday. Doesn't mark up the price of parts and his work is well worth the labor costs. I can't thank him enough. Have his number saved and he will be the first mechanic I reach out to in the future if I need anything else done. Highly recommended!

Received such great service on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't too sure about the location since County Road 32 is a dirt road but this guy's shop was immaculate, service was impeccable, and the owner was extremely professional. Trying to fix something under the hood of my RV myself, I messed up something and was SO lucky to meet Rob. As I couldn t move my RV because of my mistake, Rob came out TO ME at the RV Campground I stranded myself in! He let me know when he was on his way, so I knew when to expect him to arrive. I ve got to say, It s always reassuring when you meet an honest, experienced mechanic. He is patient, easy going, and a hard worker. Also, Rob had to order a part (the thingy I messed up) and he found the least expensive part with the fastest shipping time to save me and my family money and time; and he kept me updated on his progress. Great guy, great mechanic, and great service! Our family highly recommends Rob of Lone Wolf Auto for your mechanical needs in Cortez, Colorado and the surrounding area.THANK YOU SO MUCH, ROB!

I thought I had added too much oil to my car during a road trip (my car burns oil fast so I add it often) and called up Rob to see if he could drain some out. Made time to meet with me right away, and turns out I didn't overfill it! He gave me some tips on when to check the oil, and what level was good for my car - and didn't charge me anything. It was a small thing, but gave me piece of mind. Wish I had cash to give him a tip, but least I could do was write this review! Thanks Rob!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Rob at Lone Wolf Auto is knowledgeable, personable, kind, and honest. I broke down near Mancos, and had the great fortune of getting picked up by someone who recommended Rob. I can't say enough good things! He fixed my truck and did so quickly and enthusiastically, plus the price was reasonable. I highly recommend taking whatever car you have to Rob.

Rob was honest, patient and friendly. Traveling from Arizona, we had no reference on any mechanic in the area, but after reading Rob's review, we definitely got the service we read. Amazing mechanic! I was on a road trip from Texas to Salt Lake City and my car broke down right outside Mesa Verde. I called Rob after reading the great reviews on google. He arrived within 30 mins, figured out the problem and fixed it. He is honest and charges a fair price for his services. It was great to meet a friendly local!

We were vacationing in the area when our wheel bearing went out on our truck at 11:00 am on a Saturday. ALL other mechanics told us it would have to wait till Monday morning because they close at noon on Saturday. We found lone wolf auto Sunday morning and gave rob a call, he was more than happy to take a look at the truck. Rob drove us to the parts store so we could buy the part (also showed us the good fishing holes) and had us back on the road before noon. He did not charge us a weekend rate or more than usual because it was a Sunday. What an honest mechanic and man. As a small business owner myself I can tell you Rob is doing things the right way! If you live in the area or you need something passing through call Rob, you will be happy you did.

I'd leave ten stars if I could! We had a tire stem leak and he was the only shop open on a Sunday, much less at 5pm. Waited for us, got us in and out in a timely manner, made great and kind conversation. Even had some funny videos on for us to watch while we waited!! We couldn't have had a better experience. What a life saver. 100 out of 10

Absolute legend this guy is. Totally chill and polite and helpful. I came in with a pretty jacked up suspension and he was eventually able to diagnose and fix it the same day he said he d had it done. Unbelievably fair prices. Rob will help you find a way to cut costs. He's also great at explaining what repairs need to be done and how they will help your car's performance. I'm lucky to have someone like him in the area.

Amazing mechanic! He was my go to mechanic in Bloomington, Indiana before he moved to Colorado. He not only worked on my vehicles but explained his work thoroughly. Great customer service and an all around honest guy! Couldn't ask for a better mechanic. I highly recommend his service to anyone

Great mechanic, I highly recommend Rob, he does honest work, fair prices. Las time he worked on my truck he came in under the price he had quoted. Works quickly, won t hold you up for several days like a shop would.

Great mechanic, honest work,fair rates! I had to drive cross country and wanted to get my vehicle worked on before the 2000 mile trip. He looked at what need replaced and did fantastic work, never had an issue cross country and still going strong today. I would go see him for any work I would ever need.

Give this guy a call if you're having any problems with your vehicle. If you're traveling and having issues, he can help. Called with an issue of hearing a clicking coming from a wheel. Was here in 5 minutes and had it diagnosed. Back on the road. Can't thank this guy enough for the peace of mind.
