Came down to Loveland for a short trip back home for an appointment and family time with the kiddos, going up Vail pass my check engine light came on and truck started to shutter! I called Gallegos and they got me in right away and their pricing was upfront and I can t believe how cheap it was compared to another shop trying to charge an arm and a leg! Super happy with this shop and will definitely be our go-to!

I really hate to do this, David was very nice, I came in with a check engine light on with my 2016 Chevy Cruze, back in early December 2023. I told them I needed to get my vehicle smogged so I needed whatever repairs done to get the check engine light off. I went to the shop on and off for two months trying to get the car fixed and check engine light off and they could not figure out the problem. They tried really hard, and I give them credit for it, ultimately I had to take it to GM and they figured it out, but they said it was very complex and had to do with how California emission laws affected the vehicle parts. However, I feel that Gallegos should have done due dilligence and figured out this problem sooner. This is why I have to deduct stars. They also tried to blame me cause I had my check engine light on for years, but GM told me that that was not the case and did not cause the problem. If you tell me you can fix my vehicle, I expect that. And I pay good money for the vehicle to be fixed. I expect that. If you tell me the repairs to my car will get the check engine light off, and it does not, I will be upset. Period.I think they are a good shop, it was a difficult problem, and ultimately, I m out a lot of money, time, and I cannot get my vehicle smogged and I m late so I m accumulating fees. If a shop can t figure something out, they should inform the client as soon as possible in my view, this way I could have made other arrangements. GM figured it out in a week. But I do like David, and I think overall, he tries hard and I did appreciate the effort, it just didn t solve my car problems at all,. But I feel this is the most fair review I could leave.

My son's Jeep was having a problem keeping the battery charged. Called them and they got it in, diagnosed and gave me an estimate the next day. The repair was quick, thorough and not expensive! Fantastic service! Friendliest shop around!Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I have taken a few of my cars in for work and they have always been honest about what needs done.They get the job done and never have had any issues.I love supporting small businesses as well. Will not go anywhere else!

It's usually not a pleasurable experience to have a broken car but luckily for me I got recommended to talk to these guys and they set me straight. My big issue was just the car being old I guess, but with a situation where I was calling and getting a "can't help you" or a "haven't seen one of those in years" within 15 seconds of a phone call and the crew at Gallegos totally resolved the issue within a day and even put stuff back together that I had taken apart trying to figure my issue out. I'm extremely grateful to have a shop like this in town, and almost excited for whatever my next imperative repair is.

Absolutely great!! They do very excellent work!!! Very promptly and honest!! Really appreciate these dudes!! Got my Subbie up and running like a champ!!! Madd shouts 2 y'all!!! Highly recommend this shop for all your auto repairs 1000 times over again!!

These guys got my business and I ll be telling everyone I know to use them! My check engine light came on and it was a purge valve.. I called and they could get me in within a few days! I dropped it off at 8am they called me by 10am with the problem and said they could have it done by late that day or the next depending on when they could get the part.. I got a call by 2pm saying I could come get it AND THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE!! I did have to take it back the following day as a hose or something came a little lose but they looked at it right in the spot to make sure me and my son had a safe reliable vehicle to get around it! That s all you ask for in a mechanic is honesty, a fair price, and quick work and they hit it right on the head! I took a hand full of business cards and have been passing them out cause they seriously earned mine and my family s business!

After many many attempts to fix an exhaust leak that was very obvious and easy to hear . I went to another shop and got a new opinion . I will never use Gallegos auto repair shop again and don t recommend it . As the mechanics are all very new to the field and just trying to get experience is what I was told.However I awaited many attempts for them to get it right yet they still could not . They clamped a leak but the clamp was still loose and not the correct part ? My car was down four weeks due to the learning curves going on . Be aware !!

Fast, no BS mechanic, simply gave them a CEL Code and they investigated related components to ensure no other issues or damage had occurred, diagnosed, and repaired the sensor I brought her in for. ABOVE AND BEYOND. Drove to work and was surprised by misfires stalling, CEL, etc. Kevin took all my info and input in stride. My car was towed to the shop and back on the road in less than 24 hours with new Cam Position Sensors and all my issues in the past. Thanks guys I know who to call in the future if I'm ever in a bind again!

I was in a desperate situation with my car. I took it to 2 different shops and none of them were willing to work with me. They charged me hundreds of dollars without fixing anything. It took me weeks to get it looked at and I had given up hope. I was told by a friend to try Gallegos Auto Repair in Loveland and I will never take my car anywhere else ever again. They have earned a lifetime customer. They treated me with respect, and they were honest from the beginning. They called to give me updates along the way and they went above and beyond. By far the best shop I've ever worked with and I will never go anywhere else.

Had transmission issues with my car, the team at Gallegos was friendly and knowledgeable, and got it taken care of in a timely fashion. I've had poor experiences with other mechanics in Colorado, but Gallegos impressed me. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic.

If you want honesty and quality work, this is the place. These guys are the best. I'm a picky car owner and I probably drove them crazy sometimes with all my questions, but they put up with me lol. Bobby and David are super to work with and I won't let anyone else touch my car from now on. I won't take my car anywhere else! These guys are honest, upfront and trustworthy.My car needed the master cylinder replaced along with the catalytic converter, they had it done in the time they said it would be. Great customer service and communication.
