I needed substantial work on our 2012 Nissan Rogue and Stonum beat the competitors prices on the issues that we compared. And they appear to have done the work correctly! It definitely pays to get more than one assessment. I'll be going back to them when necessary.

This is my first trip to Stonum as I found them in the local business listing with high honors plus a coupon to boot (Tip: I forgot to take a coupon with me-so don't forget yours when you go!). I am testing the waters with this business's service in Longmont since they are very near to my office location. Appreciation goes to Mark and Kaleb at the front desk for their courtesy and kindness.My VW was dropped off for an oil change only but the tech, Kaycee G., also performed a 30-point inspection and rotated the tires.I was very pleased with the thorough inspection and comprehensive, full status report (including photos) emailed to me. Thank you Stonum. You passed my test.SERVICE RECOMMENDED HERE.

I have forgotten how many years stonum has been with me. But I know that they take care of every car I have. They are professional and trustworthy. They have the ability to deal with difficult times. If I buy a new car again, I will still choose Stonum to take care of it. 5 stars for sure.

They re pretty thorough with their multi point inspection if not a bit alarmist. But, I do appreciate the heads up for potential future repairs. My initial impression was very positive, but it has fallen. They also don t always have a courtesy driver available lately, which leaves you waiting a long time in their waiting room. And, their customer service isn t great. You probably have to be smug when you re selling auto repair that is 30%-50% more expensive than competitors. Their coupons save only a small amount like $2-$10 because they only apply to labor.

Took car in because of rattling noise. They discovered source and charged a fair price. They also noted the rear brakes needed to be changed. I declined stating I would do myself. Upon taking the wheels and caliper off I discovered the pads were only half worn. Peeved, I called them and they explained politely that their inspection led them to believe the rust on the rotor was significant enough to require replacement. They stated rotors and brakes must be replaced at the same time. They stated rust could cause reduced friction. I observed no rust at the contact points with the brakes as per usual for rotors. I also think requiring rotors to be replaced with brake pads is overkill. From my research rust is very rarely a reason to replace a rotor. Usually it is because they are too thin or are warped I don t think they are dishonest but perhaps calibrated too far to no we have have to replace for my tastes. If I wasn t more of a risk taker I guess I wouldn t have a problem. Perhaps that is how all mechanics have to be now because of lawyers and insurance.

I simply will not take my vehicles anywhere else than Stonum. They listen to my description of what I see going wrong on my vehicle and go in and find it and fix it without charging an arm and a leg for those repairs.I just had my car in for some headlights trouble. They checked all the lights on my car, found the mystery problem with the headlights, checked and added oil, checked and added antifreeze, and discovered 5 more lights on the back end that needed replacing. I drive back and forth to Pueblo each week and feel so safe in my vehicle knowing the great staff at Stonum has my back. My auto shop for life!

I am new to Longmont and when I needed a new place for my Subaru Impreza to be serviced I searched online.Stonum Automotive stood out and did not disappoint.In October I had my brakes and a service done and the whole experience was great.Mark was my main contact and besides being friendly he was helpful and explained everything!I feel that they took great care of me and my vehicle!I will definitely be back !!!

Absolutely can t say enough good things about Stonum. I have been in multiple times for work on my vehicle and have always experienced the same high-quality, consistent service. They are honest, they stick by their word, and their pricing is always reasonable. Couldn t ask for much more.

As a Realtor, I drive up to 500 miles a week in my car, often with clients. For the last 15 year,. Stonum has kept me, my clients and my car safely on the road providing honest maintenence suggestions and timely mechanical updates for good dollar value. Love feeling "safe".

They always take great care of our cars, communicate transparently and effectively, track issues when they're developing but not yet problems and pace out repairs accordingly, and they charge fair rates for the quality of service they provide. Always Mark, Kaleb and yes Peter were warm friendly and funny. My tech Sean did a great job, and no evidence left behind inside or out that my Stella had so much messy work done on her.Since I've found Stonum I've felt so at ease about any light or heavy service to be done on my '97 4Runner.Thanks Folks, please don't ever leave Longmont;-)~ ~

My van is running nicely! More smooth! All the checks done during a routine oil change are thorough. I like how the mechanic goes over things he noticed. I value and trust their opinions and professional advice on what needs to be fixed soon and what can wait! I have been taking my car here for years. I love how they take pictures of the repairs. They have a nice online portal where you can go to see the repair history of your car.Their pricing is fair, I have gone to cheaper places and lost use of my car for several days because they made a mistake during service.They have a ride service that can take you home or to work after dropping off your car and can pick you up when it is done.I never feel cheated. They are very frank on routine maintenance and when things like brakes should be replaced. They have been measuring my pads and reporting it the last couple of oil changes because they are close to needing replacement. It is nice getting honest feedback on what the manufacturer recommended services are at certain mileages and asking me if I want to do it.I 100% recommend Stonum for any car repairs you need.

Timely and friendly service. Completed all repairs and maintenance requested at a fair price. Included free inspection with list of items that need to be addressed. Fully explained work done and what needs done in the future with price estimates. The people who work at Stonum are the most helpful, friendly, and knowledgable staff of any automotive place I have ever taken my car to. After having the luxury of experiencing their work and customer service, I have a very hard time taking my car anywhere else. I trust them with my vehicle and I trust their work. Just had my clutch replaced on my 2015 Subaru wrx. They have worked on my Denali and Audi as well and have always done an amazing job with great quality and service! I've been bringing my vehicles to Stonum for years and they've always done great work, in some cases even cleaning up messes performed by other auto shops. Peter and crew were also extremely helpful a couple years ago when I was shopping for a different vehicle. I took in three vehicles of the same year and model for an inspection and they helped me find one that was in great shape and it has served me very well since then. The best thing I could say about a mechanic is that I trust them to do good work and honest work, and I can say that about Stonum. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here for over a decade. I have lived all over the country and own multiple vehicles. These are the most honest honorable fair and friendly mechanics I have ever known. Recommend them 100% without a doubt.It's been a year or two since the last post. This place is the only thing I know of that hasn't gotten worse since the pandemic they've only gotten better!

My daughter took her car in for new spark plugs after Napa recommended them. The mechanic broke 1 off inside the engine and they wanted to charge us $2,500.00 to fix the issue they caused. My daughter's car drove in there but had to be towed away. The manager Mark Shy just continued repeating "Its not our fault", every other business I talked with about this stated that as a "reputable" business you fix it then let the customer know what happened. We asked they start an insurance claim, my daughter heard from a woman 1time by phone then said a separate adjuster would be out for independent review. She got an email stating it was not their fault and after several attempts to contact her never heard back. We are not even sure she was really an insurance person at this point. We picked up the car and NOBODY came out to say anything!!!!!! Stand behind your work with honesty and integrity not charge a college student what your mechanic broke!!!! Several mechanics we talked to said there had to be significant force to snap the plug off like that and in their opinion, it is on the mechanic to fix. I will NEVER recommend this company ever as their customer service is the absolute worst and all they care about is creating more business by breaking vehicles. Now my daughter is stuck with a non-running vehicle, is in college and working. There is something really wrong with a company that won't even try to work with a financially strapped person when they are responsible for the vehicle in their care.
