Went in for an oil change and left with an oil change - along with an inspection and notes about what might be needed in a subsequent visit.I left feeling that I'll be coming back if/ when I need repairs or routine maintenance done.The waiting room is clean and comfortable too.

It s hard to find a good mechanic shop, but I finally found the place. These guys are honest, fair and super friendly! I won t take my cars anywhere else.

Had my 1968 Mustang towed to Steve's, wouldn't start , old gas and bad fuel pump. Steve had it fixed in a couple of hours with a new fuel pump and tuned the carburetor. Just like always I have been going to Steve's for 22 years ,they have worked on my 1958 Thunderbird as well as my 2002 Mustang GT. Their honestly is much appreciated. My minivan is about 8 years old and just crossed 100,000 miles so I took it in to get transmission fluid and coolant system and brake fluid changed for about $500 just as preventive maintenance. They were all still factory fluids. Steve's checked it out and told me all those fluids were still just fine and they didn't want to just take my money and change the fluids unnecessarily now.That's a first time ever for me and I will be back when it is time.They also replaced the front struts a couple years ago for a fair price and did a good job. I highly recommend them!

I wish I could give Steve's Auto 10 stars. I had my Jeep towed to the shop after a bad accident, and Charles advocated on my behalf with my insurance company through 3+ months of back and forth. He stayed in constant contact with my insurance company (and me) as they dragged their feet, and he helped ensure that things were fixed correctly the first time. I would recommend Steve's Auto to anyone looking for a fair and honest mechanic. They went above and beyond for me.

The people are friendly, but my girlfriend had trouble with her car after she brought it in twice. They were kind enough to do a complimentary service after paying for a new water pump, but she kept experiencing leaks which dropped her coolant levels.

Best shop in town! I've been towing in Longmont for 7 years and always heard great things from his customers. I was recently a customer myself and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work they did on my car. On time, under the estimated price and my 10 year old car rides like new again. One of the best Places I've ever been in my life. In march they put a new water pump and some other things timing belt etc. in my jeep and it needed a radiator after the fact and there was No way I could afford it , I previously had a new radiator but took it back because didn't think I needed it, come to find out I did... They put a new radiator in no charge.. I don't know of any other Place that would go above and beyond as they did at Steve's Automotive. I am currently needing my Jeep worked on and they gave me the quote up front and are genuinely concerned for their customers. I am referring my friends and family to go here because it honestly is The Best Place I've been to!!Thanks Guys!!Service: Engine repair

These guys are great. I ve been taking my vehicles here for some time now. My mother-in-law is new to the area and she needed a mechanic. So she now goes to Steve s. I had a friend drop me off at Steve s so that I could pick up my truck after work and he now goes to Steve s. They take the time to look at what needs to be fixed or repaired as well as the little things. Friendly people I generally deal with Charles very soft spoken and great mechanics. I ve had a few things done to the truck over the years and never had an issue. Parking can be a little tight as it s a small parking lot.

They are amazing! Fast! FRIENDLY!!! Just what your car needs! I've come here twice for my car and they have been so kind and helpful both times. My whole family comes here because we know they are honest and hard workers. I am always so pleased with the work that they do, and the time table they do it in.

hahahahah. I wish they could stay the same. This is PAST TENSE. Pandemic got people getting grifty. {Got me in promptly and had my car back in half a day. Were great to work with and look forward to doing future business with them.}update will charge 180 for rear drum brakes.but wants just shy of 500 for front bearings.Con artist at their finest. We are talking like 2 hours of labor and they want to claim 3 and even 3 at 500. Get real.to further add.I paid 180 for 2 hours of labor for rear drum brakes. That's 90 an hour.Now not even half a year or so later. They want 150 for labor. As they said this job is 3 hours and around 450 dollars give or take.YOU. ARE. GOING. OUT. OF. BUSINESS. BECAUSE. OF. THIS.

My car is pretty old and worn. When I took it in to have the air conditioning worked on I expected two things. It works be expensive and it would quit working right after a week or so. It was super inexpensive and it has been nice and cold through some long hot heavy traffic weeks. I am for sure going back when I have other auto service issues.

I had my car towed here to have the front end looked and when I picked it up I was informed not to drive far because there were loose and missing bolts which they didn't say where they were loose and missing from. I drove home and my car sat for 2 weeks. A friend looked at it. The 3 bolts that hold the bearings on the drivers side where loose and one missing. I feel that they should have at least tightened the loose ones so I cold drive home safely instead of sending me home telling me not to drive too far.

We have been trusting Steve's (from BMW 325i to Isuzu truck, Volvo XC and other vehicles) for about 15 years. Satisfaction in quality of work, fairness in pricing, and positive customer care and service make Steve's our first call for auto repairs and maintenance services. I can recommend them for oil changes to major engine repairs.

Just took my pickup in for an oil change and asked them to check on a couple things - idiot light had come on, and my battery was acting up in the cold. Liz got me in right away, they checked everything I asked them to, talked to me before they did any further work, got it all done when they said they would... and they even love my dogs, what more could I ask for? Very friendly, fair price; I recommend Steve's to anyone.

They checked my alignment and said it was fine despite the subtle outside shoulder wear on my tires. 10,000 miles later my tires are shot because they wore too much on the outside (inside tread has another 20,000 miles left on it). They wouldn't support their previous error because it was more than 90 days later.

Steve does not own this business anymore.The two guys that do own it give you 2 different answers when you are trying to get a job done. Charles does not have any idea about the automotive business and how to talk to customers. Juan does know what he's doing, he has been a front end and suspension technician for quite a few years.

My Jeep was having "Death Wobble" issues when speeding over 50mph. They all knew exactly where to begin for a fix, charged a fair price, had it completed on time and the estimate was accurate and free.I will definitely be going back if anything else happens with my vehicle.

Can't say enough good things about Charles and the guys at Steve's Automotive. I had an appointment at another place, took the day off for it, and when I got there they told me they had scheduled for a different day, a mistake on their part they were unwilling to help me with. The guy told me there was nothing they could do to help me as they were booked up. As I drove away filling my car with obscenities I happened to pass by Steve's and decided to stop. They got me in that morning, took care of what I needed, and did a full inspection. They didn't use that inspection to try and get me to do all kinds of things to my car. Charles listed a few things I should keep an eye on and didn't even attempt to scare me into doing more than I needed like other places.I've been to a few car places now in the Longmont area and I'm really happy to have found my spot. An honest and reliable mechanic is tough to find sometimes. Steve's is the place if you're looking for one.

I brought my car in with a terrible metal-on-metal sound whenever I turned right. The guys had my car checked within an hour. Turns out it was only a rock stuck in my rotor. 10/10 recommend.

The best auto shop in Longmont by far! Steve and all the staff treated me like family and were fabulous to work with. They are now being featured at Planet Fitness Longmont as the only recommended auto shop. I highly recommend using their services!

They mounted and balanced one of my tires for the back of my jeep (and even put on the new mount bracket to hold my 35s) They did great work fast, very friendly wholesome people. I highly recommend them.
