A few weeks ago my car got broken into and I needed to get my passenger window replaced. Setting up the replacement was easy online, and Brady and his companion were great at communicating when they were going to come to my house to replace my window. When they arrived, they offered to drive my car to the shop close by so they could use their vacuum there and I agreed, and when I got the car back the window was perfectly installed AND they went the extra mile of vacuuming up every last bit of broken glass in the car, not even just the passenger side where the window was replaced. They were so kind and it made my day after having gone through a stressful experience! They also waived the recycle fee since my window was smashed. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs replacement glass.

Replaced my broken windshield quickly and without problems. Everyone I spoke with from scheduling to the specialist walking me through aftercare instructions were professional, kind and friendly. I was able to get my windshield replaced for less than what my insurance deductible would have been. I would highly recommend this business.

I recently took my Honda accord in to get my windshield replaced, my hood latch was broken so I had it was holding with zip ties. The safe lite team fixed my windshield and replaced my zip ties with one tiny string and did not tell me when I was leaving. I even asked one of the men there and he said I was good to go. On my way home I was going 60 mph and had my hood fly up on my windshield shattering it in my face with oncoming traffic on one side and a ditch on the other. I was very lucky to be able to safely pull off to the side and not crash. My fianc� called them and they fixed the windshield but it caused so much damage to my car and we have called and called with no response. They know what happened and refuse to reach out to us or answer our calls. Funny how they preach safety yet could care less.

This was not our family's first experience with Safelite, but it will be our last. They told us they could recalibrate our cameras in our 2021 Sprinter after the windshield replacement.After waiting over 6 hours on the first visit, they said it was ready for pick up. Once we got there, we were told they did not notice a break in the new glass until final inspection. Blamed it on the fact the newbie missed it before install. They were going to order another and we made an appointment.On the way home, there was non-stop chattering from the window. Took it back and they "wedged" it to stop until the new window came.In the frost, only 1/2 the in-glass defroster worked. Thankfully the driver's side did. Then it rained. Water was on the dash and filled the housing where the camera is and ran down through the dash. When you hit the brakes, it would run out of the housing.The new windshield was late and they could not calibrate the camera. It had to go to the dealer. They tried to blame the fact the van has a minor sleeping conversion, saying it was the fault of the solar battery. There is no additional wiring to the van. They simply were trying to blame something other than incompetence.To get the windshield on the van took over 12 hours and two visits with two windshields at Safelite. Once the dealer had it, it took 1 1/2 weeks because of the potential of the water having damaged things beyond calibration. Fortunately, it just needed the correct knowledge to get the job done.

Summary: Would recommend using a different shop.My truck was involved in a smash and grab where the the thief broke all four of the windows in my cab. My insurance company sent me to Safelite to have my windows repaired. After picking up my vehicle upon completion the door latches were not functioning (I have not had a single issue in 4 years of owning the vehicle) and the technician recommended that I take it to a body shop to have them fix it (and pay for it out of my own pocket). You could audibly hear glass rattling around in the doors so I believed it was some remaining glass that wasn't cleaned properly causing the door to not latch. I scheduled my appointment back in with Safelite two weeks later to have the latch issue resolved. They had the vehicle for a few hours and reported that the issue had been resolved and I should be good to go. Over the next few months I dealt with the door occasionally not latching (the solution is to slam it ~5-10 times and then it closes). In the scheme of it, I viewed it as a minor inconvenience. When the weather dropped and it snowed for the first time, I learned that the cold doesn't allow the latch to catch at all (unconfirmed if the cold has anything to do with it). I called Safelite to give them another opportunity to make things right and stand behind their work. I brought my truck in and received a call two hours later. They told me that the frame of my vehicle had been bent thus pushing the door out of alignment and not allowing it to latch.It's a bummer to have your personal property vandalized and stolen from. Its an even bigger disappointment when the companies you want to trust to help you don't stand behind their work and find any and all excuses to rid themselves of their responsibility. In summary, if you have the option to use another shop, I would highly encourage you to do so.

Outrageous pricing and service. Front desk is rude and pushy, they are not inquisitive to the problem, only inclined to charge you $300 for a chip smaller than a penny. I hired another company for nearly 1/5th the cost that came to my home conveniently to fix my windshield. I ll never use Safelite again.

I'm not the review leaving type but these guys are fantastic. I cant remember the last time I had such a great experience with customer service, anywhere. Marcus, my glass tech was and 11 on a scale of 1 to 5. Fast. Efficient and did a great job. Couldn't be happier with Safelite Longmont

Windshield looks great! But the huge, deep scratch in my hood that weren't there before not so much... And my windshield sprayer no longer works. While they said they will take care of the scratch, they don't know why the sprayer isn't working. So now I have to take it somewhere else to get diagnosed.

Great experience from start to finish. Front desk got me checked in quick and they stayed in constant communication. Windshield turned out great, no issues. Tech vacuumed out my car and they even gave me a complimentary can of glass cleaner. Would definitely recommend. You can also usually find Safelite coupon codes online.

Had to reschedule my initial appt because windshield glass arrived broken. Kohlton replaced the glass and thoroughly explained the care and warranty on glass. Also, left a LG bottle of Safelite glass cleaner as a thank you for doing business with Safelite. Hats off to Kohlton...you were a pleasure to work with!!

The ease of getting our RV's windshield glass replaced was remarkable. We contacted our insurance company and they said they'd contact Safelite to reach out to us. Safelite responded quickly with a next day appointment at our home, texted to let us know when they would arrive, and texted again when they were finished. The two techs were polite, courteous and did a great job. I would definitely use Safelite again.

The employess were helpful & friendly in providing me with a rough estimated quote to replace my front windshield when i showed up very early one morning. After waking up to find i have a crack from one end of my front windshield to the other I'm really bumming cos Safelite can't fix it if it's over 6 inches I was told. At least for now it's near the base & out of my sight range.I have a $500. deductable & the windshield will be about $300.-$400. so it looks like it's gotta be all out of pocket dang it. Darn flying rocks!! I was told they might have one on hand but to try to give them a day's notice before bringing it in for replacement which isn't bad for time wise & they'll want it for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.Click the LIKE icon below please if you agree with or like my review... Safelite corporate is stellar at turning away prospective customers before you've even begun. I had a question regarding their services which I could not find an answer to on their website. So I tried calling the nearest location. I got an automated corporate phone system which referred me back to the website. So I tried the chatbox. The agent did not answer my question and referred me back to the website. If I had a problem with my service after it was completed I'm very doubtful I'd get any resolution!!

I got scammed into getting a repair I didn't need. I stopped by to have a technician look at a VERY small chip/crack on windshield. He stated it needed to be fixed so it didn't spread and quotes me a price of ~$135. I then made an appointment for the repair, but the technician working on my car that day didn't think it needed repaired though he said he'd run the tool over it, not indicating that he would charge me over $150 for less than 5 minutes of work!I did contact customer service as indicated but never received a response! So much for customer service.

Caught a small chip while on a road trip and tried to call to get an estimate. Called and no matter what, their phone tree would never take me a to real person to get cost estimate and schedule. Kept giving me the option to send me a link or go online for estimate and schedule... No, I'm not going to do that while driving. It's very irritating that they do not let you use your time efficiently.I know it's a corporate thing but very insulting to customer base.

I've used Safelite in Longmont for several years as windshield cracks are a common thing here in Colorado. Always professional and easy to work with. They have also come out to meet me to replace a windshield as well. Works seamlessly with my auto insurance. I highly recommend.

Well, you might think they re paying me for these reviews, but nope. If you read my last review of them, you know how they went out of their way to help us out. That s why we came back. Turns out that we didn t give them all the right info when we had the windshield ordered, so they ordered the right one and we came back in. (Totally our fault). The guy (wish I knew his name) called after the install and said, I noticed that the price of this windshield is more than what you had originally paid. He asked me if I was aware of that and I told him that I was not. He said, hold on, let me make some calls. Well, bottom line is that the correct windshield for our van was $200 more expensive than the one originally ordered. Rather than charge us this extra, they deducted it from the total. Talk about good customer service! I really hope that this review sticks in your mind when you need a windshield repaired or replaced. They ll treat you right!Service: Auto windshield replacement

Dropped my vehicle off by appt. at 4pm (they closed at 5pm) and they finished at 5:05. I rushed back to pick up my vehicle and they stayed late so I could. Super fast and stayed after hours. Thank you!

Updated my 9 year old review!Still a great experience. Their mobile techs that come to you are quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff on site are also great. I was helped quickly and multiple staff were available to check customers in. They definitely focused on making sure that people were helped and on their way.Past review:Tim and the young lady who helped me were very courteous and helpful. I was driving home and got behind a truck that dumped some debris on the road. I heard some loud hits on my windshield and looked feverishly for the cracks I was sure to see. I noticed one fairly shallow hit. I drove in, they checked the glass and determined it was an old hit from the previous owner of my 07 Passat. They also checked the entire windshield and noted a couple other surface dings that have been filled. Very honest and nice of them to take the extra step and let me know what was already done.

Safelite replaced our windshield and for us, our insurance company (State Farm) reached out to Safelite and passed them all the necessary information to order the correct replacement glass which made it easy for us because all we had to do was agree to a scheduled date/time once Safelite called us. The technician did a great job! I liked that they kept me informed of when they were showing up.Service: Auto windshield replacement

It was really easy to set up the appt. which i liked a lot. I got the 12-5 slot same day as i made the appt. They let me know who my tech was before hand which was Neil!! He called me to let me know the hour hed be here and did my windshield replacement under an hour. He was friendly and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend if your looking for quality work done. You pay what you get for here. Overall a good experience!Plus he cleaned all my windows at the end!! Huge plus!

The windshield got replaced and it looks good, but they didn't vacuum or clean the car after their work. There are glass shards all over my car. It took me 2 hours to vacuum it all. I had glass all the way in the back in my son's carseat! My passenger seat was covered in it and ahugeshard of glass was in my cup holder. They also scratched and damaged a piece on the car that wasn't there before. I will never do business with Safelite again!
