Honestly Im surprised with these one star reviews about themNot responding well to small jobs. A two years ago I got my Honda elite scooter seat re foamed and upholstered. They had it back to me in 2 weeks and charged me about 150-175. I thought that was fair. I ve returned to the reviews because I m planning to get two front car seats done this summer. I think this shop is cool and I m excited bout getting more work done.

My son's 18 year motorcycle's seat was in sorry shape, with the vinyl cracked and the padding beneath eroding away. The owner seemed confident he could put back vinyl (my choice, since it sets outside) similar to original. Wow! Looks better than new. Finished in one day. Very reasonable price. The shop is in a back corner of an open garage restoring classic cars, which I found a benefit, but it is unusual. Can't recommend more highly. The man is an artist.

They were able to repair my Recaro seat with a tear at a seam. Price was reasonable and the work was quality. Quick turnaround too!

I sent an email to S & S upholstery on 7/24/22 asking if I could get the seat for my motorcycle upholstered. They actually responded within a few hours and said it could be done in about one day. I dropped it off the next day and said I just needed it back by Friday the 29th and Brad said that would be no problem. Well I never heard from anyone and sent an email telling him to just forget about it because I had to leave town in the morning. Most reputable businesses would have responded with an apology but I heard nothing. When I got home on 8/3/22 I went to his shop to pick up my seat and the material, he saw me, picked up the seat and material right from the place he set it when I dropped it off, he said nothing and just handed it to me and went about whatever he was doing. It seems they must be way to busy for such a small job even though he said they could do it in one day and he HD 6 days plus 3 more while I was out of town. I thought maybe he would do it to try and make a customer happy but evidently that's not how they do business. I would be very wary of taking your small projects there. They really don't care and obviously didn't want my business. He could have just told me he was to busy or that my motorcycle seat was to small of a job. I could have taken it to someone who wants my business . Bad business practices at this shop and the shop is a complete disaster area. I'm surprised they can even find anything in there. BEWARE!!!

Motorcycle seat chop and recover, 5 stars. Their specialty. Paint job on motorcycle saddlebag, 3.5 stars. Could have been better. Slight imperfections here and there which nobody but me will ever know about.

I've had Rex and crew repair several dog-damaged seats in my various vehicles over the past three years and have always been more than pleased with the quality of the workmanship, the timeliness, and the fairness of the charges. They have been imaginative and inventive at times to save me money. In the past two weeks, they have restored and recovered SEVERELY DOG-DAMAGED seats in two of my vehicles. The longest they had either vehicle was three days, and the results are beautiful. Totally ignore any negative reviews you may see. Amen.

Update 3/16/17: Adding a star because the owner contacted me a few days after my experience to apologize and offer me what I think is a fair discount on the work for my hassle. I've been traveling and haven't had time to take it in yet, but will report back here if/when I finally do.Original review:I'm sure these guys do good work, but I never got that far. Last week I arranged to drop off my truck for a driver's seat recover, and was quoted a price on the high end of the range I expected, but since they seemed to have a reputation for good quality work on other sites, I agreed to drop it off this morning, as long as it would be done the same day. That was important to me because I needed it back for a long trip starting the next day. The owner also cut a square out of my seat to make sure he could match the color. I didn't love that, but figured it wouldn't matter because they're going to replace the leather, right? So, I dropped it off as agreed, the owner wasn't in yet, but the shop tech drove me home in my truck, and then took off back to the shop with it. I stopped by around 1PM to check on the progress, and the owner was out, so I spoke to his son. My truck was parked right in front of the shop, and the work wasn't started yet, which I should have taken as a warning sign. Got a call a little after 5 PM from the owner apologizing that no one told him my truck was there so he didn't start the work. Did I mention it was parked in front of the shop? :-)I accept that mistakes happen, and the owner was definitely apologetic, but part of what makes a good business to me is running an organized shop. And, when a business makes a mistake that inconveniences me, I appreciate it when they try to make it right. I would have been okay if S&S would've have offered a small discount on the work for my trouble, or at least a ride down to the shop to pick it up when they goofed up, but neither were offered, so I rode my bike down to pick it up. The owner again blamed the shop techs for not telling him it was there, which isn't isn't a good way to manage, either. Yes, the techs might have dropped the ball, but by not having a ledger of customers for the day or a place to sign in, he's not doing his part as the shop owner, either. So, I'm worse off than when I started. I have a 1" square hole in my still-ratty, broken-down seat, lost an hour out of my day, and I'll now have a sore butt after my long drive this week. And if I want the seat fixed when I get back, sorry buster it's still full price. Yes, it could be worse, so my advice if you want to do business with this shop: hound 'em and make sure the owner is 100% engaged in every step. Get his mobile number of you have to. Me? I'm probably not going back. Time to order seat covers.

I had a great experience with S + S Upholstery. We had a couple anchors on our sun shades break under the weight of spring snow. I called on a Saturday, left a message, and received a call back early Monday morning. (I also called 2 other upholstery companies on Saturday, and they never called me back.) It took less than one day to fix our shades, and they went the extra mile by offering to reinforce the other anchors. I would absolutely go back and highly recommend this company.

We where told 3 weeks to upholster a small chair and 2 months later no contact or call from them. When I did call he seemed annoyed and failed to meet two other dates. So over 4 months later it was finally done without a single apology just BS excuses. The final product is quality is well below other Denver shops I've used. The chair stinks like fuel/exhaust from their unprofessional multi-purpose garage. The price isn't representative of their disgusting garage with 2-3 other shady businesses running in the same dump.Would not recommend.

This place did a marvelous job of partially recovering my leather recliner. They had to special order a hide died to match. THey did a fantastic job of matching the leather and recovering the chair. It looks like new. They also came and got my chair from my 2nd story condo and delivered it back when the job was done. Great job. I would highly recommend them.

They redid the driver's seat upholstery in my Mercedes, and I had a great experience. The fabric they chose is a good match, the workmanship is excellent, and they finished the job at the promised time.

Don't bring your stuff here unless you don't care if it ever gets done.In short: brought a motorcycle seat here, I was promised it would be done in a week, ended up a month later and nothing was done. Complete waste of time.Long story: I had a vintage motorcycle seat I wanted repaired and brought it in to S&S. I was promised it would be done in a week. A week later, I stopped in and found nothing was done, but I was promised again it would be done in a week. I came back a week later to find out that S&S took the day off. Nice. The next two weeks I was on vacation. I came back, now a month later, and still nothing was done. I took my stuff and I will find someone who respects their customers time and honors their commitments.Don't bother

Pros: I needed my project done fast, kind of a short notice emergency job and they got it done. Did a decent job.Cons: I got three estimates and he was the most expensive by far but I had no choice because he's the only one that could make my deadline. Twice as expensive as the next highest estimate.

This place does fantastic work! I was surprised at the wide variety of jobs that they handle all in one place. The owner, Rex, is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of upholstery repairs and is super helpful if you aren't sure exactly what you need. I will definitely be returning soon!!! Thanks guys!

Just bought a new 2018 Subaru Outback. Found the seats to be alarming uncomfortable, then read that LOTS of people are complaining about them. Took the brand new car here and they removed the torturous plastic piece in the back of the seats and remade better backing. Ahhhh....no more aching back. Thanks S&S Upholstery!

Great family run upholstery shop. I used them for 10-15 custom bench seats with backrests and they knocked the ball out of the park every single time. I would trust these guys with anything upholstery related.
