Great service, fair prices, and a job well done. I'd refer a friend any time. They don't "fish" for problems to upsell you a solution. If I ever have more challenges with my exhaust system that I can't fix, Romero's will be my first stop.

If you re looking for an affordable honest auto repair shop that won't up sell and charge for more than what needs to be done, then look no further! I ve been taking my 2001 Subaru to Romero s Muffler and Auto Repair Shop for many years now, whenever I need service or a repair. It is a family owned and operated business. Lucas the owner and master mechanic is great and runs a topnotch shop. I can always count on him and his expert mechanics to get the job done right very trustworthy! Quickly needed a flex pipe repair on my Ford Explorer. I'm always leery of using a new place I'm unflamiliar with especially when the quoted price is hundreds less than the next guy. Seems to good to be true but these guys were hassle -free, fair, quick and a pleasure to do business with. Solid!! the work was scheduled quick and done quicker. Feel confident in this shop.

Got a price to fix a hole in my exhaust pipe instead of a new tailpipe and muffler, before I told him I didn't want to put much money in the car. My car has 287,000 miles on it. Not sure how much longer it will run. I recommend it because they are obviously honest with their establishments. Highly recommend.

Excellent work in only a half hour!We had a fuel leak in a hose connection, that despite our best efforts, we could not get at without potentially dropping the fuel tank. We took it to Lucas and they replaced the hose and clamps. They even found another clamp that was ready to fail and replaced it.Only a half hour of labor and several parts. Less than $90 and probably far less than any other shop in town.We found a very good Go To shop for future needs!

Had a rattle under my car so stopped here while driving by. The guys were so kind and offered to take a quick look to see what was going on. Turned out it was a pretty easy fix, took less than 5 minutes and despite my offer they didn t charge me. Feels hard to find this type of service these days. Will be back for anything & everything I may need in the future to support a business with this kind of customer service. 10/10

Romero s was great! I was loosing power in the mountains and towing my Camper. Lucas was spot on and diagnosed my manifold as the issue and removed my broken bolt in 45 minutes time. I was able to pull my camper the very next weekend without loosing power in the mountains. Job well done!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Terrible customer service. I wanted to bring my own exhaust system to which they said they would refuse the service to install. They special ordered the exact exhaust I already had, added a substantial markup, and when I said I needed to reschedule my appointment because I couldn t walk due to an injury at work they demanded full payment immediately over the phone. The girl on the phone yelled at me and belittled me saying it was my fault they paid for shipping when I d purchased the product with free shipping. Out of her mind! I literally had to spell out which system to get because she almost ordered the wrong one to start with.

I will 100% be back as a customer here. I called first thing Monday morning in a panic because my catalytic converter was stolen out of my car while parked at DIA. My car was turned around in basically 24 hours- even without having the part in stock. The communication was amazing and everyone I interacted with was so kind. Highly recommend!Service: Exhaust

Lucas and Bre are wonderful people! Super friendly and understanding. I ve taken my cars here since Lucas became owner and have never turned back. As a young woman they have always made sure my concerns were addressed in a timely and financially appropriate manner. Lucas and Jeremy have done all of my exhaust work and have taken extra time to make sure it is at my highest standards. They are always very welcoming and explain things to me in a understanding way. Romero's mufflers has always operated in an ethical manner, each time they work on our vehicles. It's not even a thought to go elsewhere. I would recommend that you save the time and chance of shopping around; just use the Tried and True! Upton family.

Lucas does great work and he stands behind his work! Definitely recommend this shop for automotive repair, they can be trusted to give your car the care to keep it running right. I had to get a modified exhaust compliant to the new air quality regulatory standards. The inspector was being incredibly strict and unhelpful, yet Lucas kept after it relentlessly to get it right.Service: Exhaust

Great experience all around. Ryan has great customer service and attention to detail. Wow, tried to call and ask a simple question about how they would approach a p0420 code diagnosis as opposed to just saying I need a new catalytic converter (the most expensive fix and potentially not the root cause). P0420 is cause by low cat efficiency, a problem which could have several causes. I simply and politely wanted to ask the approach the shop would take in diagnosis and was met with extreme hostility from both the receptionist and Lucas, a mechanic. And told to take my business elsewhere. I gladly will and will let everyone I know in town to stay away from Romero's.

Took my Ram 1500 in after the tail pipes fell off on the weekend. They were able to fit me right in and got the work done within an hour! Top notch work, top notch service! Highly recommend.

I recently bought a new Cat-Back exhaust for my 2019 Ram. I was planning to put it on myself, but got busy with work and my kids. Reached out to Romero's and talked to Chris on a Friday. He was able to get me in the upcoming Monday. They were able to get everything done in just a few hours and charged me just over 100 dollars. I was quoted 400+ everywhere else. Extremely happy working with them. They did an awesome job, were professional and overall friendly folks to work with. Would absolutely come back for anything else !Service: Exhaust

The help Chris and his team provided sorting out replacing my catalytic converter was outstanding. They made sure to do the job right and make sure that I was completely satisfied. From my previous experiences this is the best shop in the county. The prices and customer service I've received here are hands down the best I've seen around Boulder/Longmont. Chris has always treated me with respect and honesty which can be hard to come by with mechanics. Very personable and not in the business of ripping you off. Enterprise rent a car is next door so if it'll take a day or two for repairs and you need to rent something it makes it super convenient. Only advice I have to give is if you need work done you may have to schedule a week or two ahead as this place can get extremely busy.
