I was referred to them by a friend who previously had work done. She was very satisfied with their work. I took in my truck unfortunately it wasn t able to be repaired, but they did everything they could to find the part. It s just a very difficult part to find and they researched and they called everywhere. They tried to find this part and to figure it out. When they were unable to do so, they did not charge me a fee for the diagnostic. I highly recommend them and I will continue to take my vehicles there in the future.

Michael and John are always so helpful. They always give detailed and helpful advice and do thorough examinations of my vehicles. I have been taking my cars to them for years! They ve helped me time and time again and make sure I had the information and knowledge I needed to move forward with decisions regarding my vehicles.

Took my car to Knott's for them to fix a rattling skid plate. After scheduling an appointment, the team attended to my car and took care of the issue quickly. Cost for the job was very reasonable and everyone at the shop was friendly.

I have been coming to Knotts for years with several different cars. I have always found them to be reliable and affordable but most importantly, honest. Great customer service and right on the price. These guys do great work and are prompt.I've always done all my repairs myself, but recently I purchased a vehicle that needed a transmission. I talked to Colt and he qouted me a price much lower than his competitors. At first I was skeptical, but I got my truck back and everything was perfect. So good that I took it back for another big repair. Another success. They've made loyal customer out of me.Talk to Colt or Zach for all your auto repair needs. Really good reliable mechanic shop, I have taken my car her several times and have always been pleased with the work that they've done. The best part about this shop is the owner Colt, and how he stands behind the work done in his shop. The most recent experience that I've had with Knott's resulted in them replacing my head gasket for free! I can't say enough good things about this shop and it's owner! I would defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a good trustworthy reliable mechanic.

They've done work several times on my Corvette. 100% top notch work, great positive attitude, very competitive prices and they know their stuff. They take care of me every time. Glad I found a shop I can trust. That's pretty hard these days. Thanks guys for doing such a great job. Don't change a thing!6/21/21: These guys landed a same day job, early morning--not major work, mind you--but took my job. I asked for some work that was out of their norm but they accepted. In the few years I've worked with Knott's, I've always been treated with this kind of exceeding expectations. If you are reading this, have them take care of your auto repair needs. As solid as you will ever get when it comes to an auto shop. TOP NOTCH.

What an outstanding guy! His customer service skills are top notch. He goes above and beyond in working with his clients. He is very honest and reputable. Our family has 4 cars of which we have had several in the shop for diagnostics and he's been very honest with each repair. Colt has even gone above and beyond by doing a preliminary inspection on some used cars before we have purchased them. This is an outstanding company and I highly recommend them if you are looking for an honest mechanic who cares about his customers first and not putting the profits first.

I brought my car in to Knott's to get the starter checked out & replaced. Colt was friendly, respectful & knowledgeable. Service was fast & efficient. The price for my repair was considerably lower than any other estimate I received from other places. Colt even checked out the charging system, battery, ignition & alternator (No extra charge) just to make sure they weren't replacing unnecessary parts. What integrity! They care about their customers & have excellent customer service! He's got my business!

Colt and his team were amazing during my first experience! They did an extensive check on a car I was thinking of purchasing and were very honest about the work that would need to be done to get that car running like new. I ended up buying that car and went back to them to get my brakes replaced; not only were they able to squeeze me in on my day off, but they did an amazing job at repairing my newly purchased CR-V at a very fair price point. I've already started recommending them to my family and friends!

Really great, fast, friendly and professional service. Knott s Auto Tech, for lack of better expression struck me as a family run or at least family friendly business. I called last minute for a minor issue and after hearing a fair quote, they squeezed me into their busy day. Colt got my service started and much to my surprise, when they handed me the keys, they told me no charge! These guys and gals are honest and kind, and that is coming from someone who is leery from years of bad service experiences. I definitely will be a returning customer for years to come. It s hard to find an honest and well run business and when you do, stick with them!

AMAZING!! All around great!! Prices, efficiency, timing and customer service all amazing. Colt kept in contact with us every step of the way and had our car back to us quickly. The pricing was so much less than any other shops around that we came down to him from Greeley. We will definitely be using Knotts Auto for all of our vehicles now and will highly recommend to friends and family!! Very friendly staff, everyone is very professional. I myself know nothing about cars so I was really nervous to first go in. Colt was very patient and was very clear about what was needed to fix the issues with my car. I brought it in needing a new mount, new battery & a ground cable.. among other things.. my navigation system wasn t working when I first bought the car and I ended up leaving with it working properly. For everything that was done, I paid a fair price. Highly recommend

I have been taking my vehicle to Knott s Auto Tech since day one, and I have not had a single issue. Colt goes above and beyond for his customers, and he and his whole team know what they re doing and are incredibly reliable. I can say with full honesty that I trust this shop to get things done right. I will no longer take my car anywhere else but Knott s, it is the best automotive shop hands down in Colorado.

I honestly rarely if ever leave reviews of places on any platform, but I absolutely had to leave a review of Knott's. I had a few minor concerns to check out so I took my truck in to Knott's. When I got there, the owner himself looked at the things that were concerning me, and he actually let me know that I was wise to make sure things were in good condition. But he said that everything checked out fine. Not only that, but he quickly checked and changed a blown fuse (I had already bought the new fuse to replace it myself) and he quickly looked at my brakes to make sure they were in good shape for my pending road trip. I wish I could bring my truck in there all the time, but I don't live in the area. I have never met such an honest man and mechanic in my life. He told me that he didn't really need to work on the truck because it was in good running order, he looked at my brakes, and he changed my fuse. He did all of that, and he didn't charge me. It was only a couple minutes of his time, but it was still his time. Don't go expecting free work people!!! That's not what this is about or what I'm saying. I can say that you can take your vehicle stress free and know it will get the best and most honest work in the business. Thank you Knott's for restoring my faith in the auto industry.

Far and away the best experience I've had with an auto body shop. When my car broke down on Ken Pratt and wouldn't start again, I thought I was in for a real nightmare, but Zach and the rest of the crew really made the experience as pleasant and painless as possible. They were courteous and professional in their service and generous (and I mean generous) with their time and resources. I cannot recommend them highly enough; I live in Denver but so long as my next car is running I'll be getting it serviced at Knott's!

Colt at Knott's Auto is the best! I use him with my personal vehicle as well as my work van. My mother was involved in an accident and was told by an auto body collision repair shop that she had frame damage and her car was unsafe to drive. I scheduled an appointment with Colt to get an estimate of repairs for mechanical damage; when he inspected my mothers car he found that not only was the car safe mechanically, it didn't have ANY frame damage. Colt and his team are honest and only look to help people. I would recommend Knott's Auto to anyone that is looking for a trustworthy mechanic with extremely reliable prices.ETA: It pains me to write an update. The shop now has new owners but since I had such a wonderful experience with Knotts in the past I took my new vehicle (Audi Q7 TDI) in for a general inspection and an oil change. They called later in the day saying my turbo charger was leaking and would need to be replaced and all the hosing also needed replacement due to swelling and corrosion with the cost being a little more than 2k. I took the vehicle to the Audi dealership and was told the turbo charger was leaking but the fix only entailed tightening two clamps and cleaning up the engine. It's difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic - I had that for many years at Knotts, but after this experience I don't believe I will be able to go back again. Perhaps my experience was just a fluke but it was a major mistake that would have costed me thousands. I have never written a bad review before but I felt I had to edit my initial review and change the star rating from 5 to 3.

The absolute best around! Colt and his team are extremely knowledgeable, they are also very honest and will inform you what needs to be done and with what urgency the items need to be addressed. I look forward to doing lots of business with Knott's Auto Tech and would trust them with any of my vehicles. There is not a better mechanic in the area, your search stops here for an excellent honest mechanic.

Knotts Auto is one of the best places you can take your car too. I am relatively mechanically inclined myself but sometimes I do not have the time to work on my own cars.I hands down recommend this shop to anyone and everyone regardless of their mechanical abilities. The main reason this shop blows all the triple A companies out of the water is because of their honesty. Never once have I felt misled or lied to about an issue with my car.I primarily deal with Colt (the shop owner) when I take my cars here and he is always friendly and easy going.TL;DRThis is the best shop in north Denver for the price and quality of service performed.

The work has always been done quickly and as promised. I would absolutely recommend Knotts Auto. I drive two hours to get to their location because I am confident in their work and the customer service I will receive.

Colt & his team are amazing! I took my truck in because I was having issues with something in the electrical, and also was having a problem with my blinkers working. His team quickly diagnosed my electrical issue being a faulty alternator I had purchased a couple days prior from another auto store. Robert noticed a possible fire hazard when he was looking over my break issue & called me immediately to talk to me about what needed to be done, and the time it would take. I went to pick up my truck today to it fixed up and am thankful to colt & his team for the work done in a timely manner & awesome/amazing customer service!! If you are in need of a mechanic dont look any further, because Colt will get the work done in a great time, at great rates, and give you 5 star customer service! Thank you so much guys!

Colt has been working on my vehicles for over 15 years now. His work has always been honest, thorough and timely. He has always provided me with as many options as possible and takes all circumstances into consideration. I was extremely excited when I heard he was opening his own shop. I have known Colt for over 17 yrs, he worked for my uncles automotive shop for many years. Now that my uncle is no longer there I have been taking my vehicle to Knott's from simple maintenance to big things. My transmission had went out and he was on it and got me a new one quickly and without any issues. I would trust him any day of the week with any of my family or friends vehicles. His shop is run on integrity, knowledge and dedication.

I was very impressed with their customer service, time management, knowledge of vehicles, and price. Zach made it a breeze for me very quick in and out of the shop, Colt runs it very well and very efficient, and Jeremy did a great job on the repairs. Hands down will be coming back when needed and got nothing but great things to say about Knotts auto tech! Thanks guys!

Colt is the best!! I came out to ColoradoA year ago and have been looking for a trust worthy mechanic since. I've had some pretty bad experiences out here. But colt and his team are awesome he even explained to me what was going on and brought me into the garage so I can further understand. Feels good to finally have a mechanic.

I have been to Knotts on 3 occasions. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and really took time to help with my vehicle. Colt knew my VW diesel issue almost immediately. It was fixed on time and there was a issue for a price on a part and they corrected it in my favor. I haven't seen this level of service in a long time. I encourage you to bring your car to them for estimates and work. Not a solicited review.

I brought my 2008 chevy diesel to the knotts team this week to get a radiator, coolant, hoses, diff services, oil change and fuel filter done. And I gotta say they did an excellent job. Zach at the front counter is very polite, honest, and through when explaining what is going on, i had the pleasure of having Robert as the technician on my truck and he is a class act and his attention to detail is amazing. Colt is also a great owner and very personable he truly cares about your experience and wants to make the best of it. I will always bring my truck back and every other vehicle I own now for life. This is absolutely the place to take your car in Longmont. The staff is friendly, and Colt fixed my car fast! I had a weird noise in my tire, and he took it for a spin to hear the sound himself. He looked at it for me the next day and found tire weights that were rattling around! Said he'd never seen anything like it but I'm glad he found the problem! Highly recommended, and the price is unbeatable!
