I had a great day with the Hayes Automotive folks. I even voted for a Ford! I went in to have my car checked out, and got the best inspection done. Only bad thing was the insurance company totalled my car and the took it away.

We thoroughly enjoyed a phenomenal youth activity tonight at Longmont s Hayes Automotive.Nick. Tanner. Alvin. Fernando.They kept it fun and very informative. They were willing and able to facilitate a marvelous and memorable youth group activity tonight!Great shop. Wonderful Techs. Terrific knowledge. Fun-tastic instruction!They are very friendly and extremely well prepared to show, train, and even hands-on activity for the youth to participate in.We owe Hayes Automotive a huge THANK YOU!I highly recommend this team of mechanics to care for the maintenance of your vehicles.

I have a 2017 Acadia with transmission issues. I took it to another shop that was very honest and told me it was either a censor or the transmission itself but they weren't familiar with newer cars. I took it to Hayes and they got back to me fairly quickly and told me it was a censor plus diagnostic around $1,500. I was so happy it was the censor (or so they told me). I went to go pay and pick up my vehicle. Once they handed me my car keys the guy tells me, "hopefully it's just the censor and not the whole transmission". THAT WOULD'VE BEEN NICE TO KNOW BEFORE I AGREED AND PAID NOT ONCE YOU HAD SECURED MY PAYMENT!!! He then went on to tell me that it takes a few weeks for my car to get back to normal b/c it had to readjust. Well my car never readjusted b/c it was the transmission! I took it elsewhere to get it repaired because I felt I couldn't trust you guys. I could've used those $1500 I spent on a useless censor towards it. Be honest, do better, I really wanted to like you guys.

After dealings with two other shops I ended up at Hayes with my husband's truck. I desperately needed help because our truck is specially equipped for my husband after his strokes & carries wheelchairs. Joe at Hayes was amazing. He really helped us out and fixed everything! I never felt taken advantage of & they were great at communicating. I recommend them to everyone now. Thanks to Hayes I'm able to get my husband around!

Everything was treated with care and respect. I felt like my car was in good care. Safe and that what I would get in the end was a reliable and safe vehicle.I feel that what was addressed was repaired with great detail.I am feeling, after driving the car, that the gas power is not as easy to access with gear changes.Also, I drove from Arvada to Denver last night. It was cold. I didn t warm the car before we left, and the heat never really came on. Just air. Wondering if this is an old car thing or if something could be going on with it.Thank you. I will recommend you to others and keep coming to you.Thomas.

I had my first experience at Hayes after getting bad news that my vehicle needed some extensive work. I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. They gave me a quote lower than the dealership. During the work they were able to text me and keep me updated. Now I feel safe driving my vehicle.

There people are honest, and they guarantee their work and warranty. I can not say enough. They worked us in I had to wait like 5 hours so worth it , they even bought me lunch. Joe ty Nick your amazing. And the cowboys fan Andrew. You all are real.

The team at Hayes Automotive does a great job providing service on my Chevy diesel. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and explained the service in detail. Highly recommend.

Recently stopped in to have my tires rotated, filled to 45 PSI with Nitrogen, and an oil change. The staff from Service to Technicians are always great to deal with and the work took less time than quoted. I wanted to get an estimate for a problem in my outback s transmission. I was given an estimate of the cost. I have decided to donate the car. Hayes told me what I wanted to know. As usual your customer service was very good. Even when the news isn t what I want to hear, it is a pleasure doing business at Hayes.Thanks,Bill

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Everyone there showed compassion, & willing to help throughout the process. They offered shuttle transportation & a loner vehicle if needed. I felt like I could trust them not only with the work they did, but also being truthful to me. 10000% recommend!!!!!!

Great shop to work with. It's tough to find a place that doesn't try to upsell repairs not needed. Had my F350 at Les Schwab 4 times for an alignment. Finally got tired of going back and went to Hayes, they got my alignment corrected the first time. Les Schwab had all the bushings installed incorrectly.

My wife dropped off our Subaru after it failed an emissions test. After evaluating the vehicle, they came back with a $3000 estimate including replacing the catalytic converter. I wanted a second opinion so my wife took it to the state emissions inspection repair shop in Broomfield where (for free) they told her we needed a $145 purge valve, and that my catalytic converter was fine. I ordered the purge valve, installed it in half an hour myself, and passed emissions with flying colors. I wanted to believe that Hayes would do a great job but I won t be going back or recommending them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto emissions testing

Very glad I took my 1979 GMC K2500. I did a lot of work to set it up for emissions but I need a good mechanic to get it over the hurdle and tune it for what I swapped in and added. Ron did an exception job going though it and cleaning up the mistakes I made as well as taking the time to get the emissions test done. Truck runs great and I am armed with a lot more information to keep it running right. Ron also took time to answer several questions I had. Great people and great service. Very fair pricing. I will be back and highly recommend Hayes Automotive. Got tags today thanks to Hayes .... look out LongmontServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

Best place ever! The staff is knowledgeable about my car, and the culture brings out the best vibe for any car dealership. Fantastic 5 star service, professionalism, and much more. I rarely give this many stars to anywhere, so congratulations!I re-serviced my vehicle, and Joe was amazing to work with. However, when I walked in; the other gentleman completely ignored me and handed me off to Joe. It looked like this person wanted to play games on his phone rather than work with the customers.

I want to thank Joe , Andrew, and Nick the Owner who I spoke to once. You rebuild the top part of my Chevy avalanche , was diagnosed by three automotive shops all.same results. You were the only ones willing to the job . And wonderful job you all did do not know the mechanics name who did all the rebuild but it runs like a new truck . Great job guys and great warranty as well . I do recommend this company 100%. Thank you.. you guys are amazingService: Engine repair

Hayes is great! Always fast, knowledge, and often they come in under their estimate. The staff at Hayes Automotive are top notch. I had a windshield wiper motor failure and a cooling system leak. I was given a loaner cat to use during the repairs. PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND GREAT STAFF.

Best shop in northern Colorado by far!I literally drive from south of Denver to Longmont just for work on my 3 vehicles at Hayes. I won't go anywhere else!

Forever my go to place for honest, ethical auto repairs. They are simply the best. Prices are fair and despite what other say about the prices, you get what you pay for.

Very nice group of folks, they diagnosed my car properly and were totally honest about what needed to be done. I would have gladly used them, but even with a tow and paying the diagnoses fee, I saved hundreds at the dealer. They charged 15-20% more for the same part than the dealer, and they wouldn't waive the diagnosis fee if I moved forward which every shopped I've ever used would do.Nice people, trust worthy, good clean facility, but from my experience expensive.I will point out, they did offer me a free ride to and from my place. If for some reason I cant use the dealer, I will likely be back.

Hayes helped me get a risky purchase on the road and working reliably. I had bought a small school bus that had a significant cooling system issue immediately. It had overheated and the engine needed work - head gasket, mill work, etc. With all this work, we didn t get the root problem identified (a rusted valve in the lines) and a few months later, it overheated again. I feel like they could have thrown up their hands but instead, Hayes really stepped up and committed to helping me get the vehicle fully functional. They worked with me to warrantee out the second repair, and identified the rusted valve. They kept the vehicle for several days doing long test drives (2hrs!) and watching the engine s reaction the next day. We ve since been able to take the bus over the Rockies twice in six weeks. I can t thank them enough for taking up the project.

These guys really are top notch. Always very communicative, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and respectful. Excellent work every time. They give great advice and let you know all the options. Spouse and I have been going here for several years now with multiple cars, even when we lived out of town. You re in safe hands at Hayes

Truck was not drivable. Hayes orchestrated the tow truck and sent updates with pictures as soon as it was in their care. Hayes Automotive changed our summer tires and 8 days later as we were driving on I-70 in Utah, the right front wheel flew off the car and rolled across the highway. We managed to pull over without crashing or rolling the car. We took the wheel and photos to Hayes and they refused to accept responsibility. I guess it was just a coincidence that the wheel came off while we were driving a week after Hayes worked on it?Avoid this business! They are incompetent and inept and their shoddy work can endanger your life and cost you lots of money. All we wanted was for Hayes to cover cost of our deductive and 1-day car rental. They refused.RESPONSE: We were out of pocket $800. We contacted Hayes with the wheel and insurance documentation and met with them. While Hayes reimbursed us for $200, they did not cover our costs nor our time (round-trip to Grand Junction to pick up the car). Finally, no wheel should ever fall off a car while driving down a highway - period. It's pretty terrifying.
