These guys are an awesome, honest crew & have your best interest in mind. Great service and would highly recommend them. Earlier today, I had been ripped off by two auto shops and ended up coming to Carworks. The workers listened to me when I vocalized the suspected issue with my headlight and fixed it for me right away. If you re looking to spend money on fixing your car, do it with these guys who have integrity. Chris was awesome to talk to and their team is kind & great at making connections with people. 10/10

I was very pleased with the work done on my corvette by Carworks of Longmont Auto Repair. I had a transmission pan gasket leak that was fixed in a timely manner and at a very fair price. I strongly recommend Carworks of Longmont.

I ve been bringing my cars to Carworks for many years and only have great things to say about them! I have had issues in the past with other shops and I have never had a problem with them! My car on the other hand has given them a little bit of grief over the years and they were always willing to work hard to help me figure out the issues at hand! Trustworthy all around. I highly recommend them!

This was my first time using Carworks for service and I was very pleased. They identified my issues quickly and helped with what they could. On top of that, the service was top notch - Chris was very kind and informative, and the crew even stayed late to get my car out of the shop the same day when I came in later in the day. Will be returning here for my car works!

Being from out of state and having car trouble is not fun. fortunately, my cousin has a local mechanic that he suggested and all went smooth from there. Carworks was very easy to work with and I feel reasonable in the cost for work done. Thank You very much Clayton and staff for saving the rest of our trip. Longmont is lucky to have an auto service center like yours.

Chris and his team at Carworks did a fantastic job fixing my son's truck when it broke down. Initially, the computer codes suggested one problem, but Chris took the extra step to investigate further. Diagnosing a transmission issue, he carefully disassembled components and consulted with others, including using the Identafix service for confirmation.I appreciate their thorough approach to diagnosis before declaring the problem. They fixed the problem, which took extra effort on their part since the replacement module they had to order and wait for was defective - a determination that could only be made after it was installed. This resulted in removal, reordering and reinstalling and checkout of the 2nd replacement module. In the end all was good and my Corvette is back on the road.

My go-to shop for all our cars. Extremely thorough in their diagnostics, and they won't charge for time they don't use. Transparent billing, doesn't gouge for parts to inflate cost. We arrived at the Denver airport late and picked up our rental car at 9 pm in the rain. It wasn't until we were well away from the car rental place that we discovered all of the tires were low on air. We stopped at Carworks for assistance the next morning. They were extremely helpful and had us back on the road in minutes and would not accept any payment as much as we tried to pay them. If we lived in Longmont, Carworks would be our go to for car repairs.

First time visit with Carworks. Found them on line and liked their web presence. The technicians at the front desk actually took the time to review my concerns and took notes the whole while. They did a good job of explaining their capabilities and that the work is guaranteed and done by qualified technicians. I had several things done to the vehicle that were not part of the original problem. But that s what I want in an auto repair shop. Someone that can spot other problems and not just replace parts at random. After the work was done I had a chance to meet with the actual technician as he walked across the parking lot. He was very nice and gave me some honest feedback about the vehicle. Based on that discussion alone my confidence level went way up to use this shop again. I strongly advise against choosing this mechanic shop. The young employee who assisted me seemed more interested in making a sale than addressing my concerns. I brought in my Toyota Camry because the engine was shaking. Unfortunately, I had to pay for two diagnostic sessions. After a week, I received a call stating that my timing chain needed replacement, which would cost a staggering $6,000. The employee was quite persuasive, urging me to proceed with the expensive repair.However, I found it suspicious since my car had only covered 103,000 miles. Deciding to exercise caution, I conducted my own research and discovered that a faulty solenoid could be associated with the symptoms I was experiencing. I called the shop and shared my findings, but the employee insisted that replacing the solenoid wouldn t resolve the issues, continuously pushing for the entire timing chain kit replacement.In the end, I opted to replace the solenoid alone for a mere $100. Disregarding their advice that it wouldn t solve the problem, I took the risk. my car has been running smoothly for 3 months now, without any issues. Ultimately, I saved myself a staggering $6,000. I write this review as a sincere warning to anyone considering bringing their vehicle to this shop. If I hadn t been cautious and conducted my own due diligence, I would have needlessly lost $6,000.Service: Engine repair

A very professionally run business. The guys worked together to fix and replace the parts to get my SUV running in a very short period of time. I couldn't even start my vehicle and had to have it towed. Impressive response time! Other places were backed up days and weeks, Carworks got me in the same day and trouble shot and fixed mine by the next day. Nothing to complain about, and everything to brag about! Carworks fricken rocks!!Previously my 03 4runner was at a different shop that was saying I was going to need a new engine because the current was hydrolocked and wouldn't start.I took it down to Carworks and literally the next day they had my engine unlocked and truck running!!!My truck runs smoother than it did before!I highly recommend Carworks for their quality expertise and quick and thorough services!

I brought my car in to have carworks take a look at some issues i was having. They made it very easy to get taken care of what i needed done and were also very quick and upfront about the entire process, to the point of including photos of all inspection points! It comes down to trust. I did my due diligence on Carworks of Longmont. Their ratings and personal recommendations were excellent, so I entrusted Carworks of Longmont with my 1978 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Corvette s Comprehensive Inspection and Repairs. Fully trusting Carworks was well founded as their Comprehensive Inspection and Recommended repairs were excellent. Simply, Carworks of Longmont is what one wants in a repair shop. I fully appreciate the fact they really care. Their dedication to excellence is reflected in their honesty, communication skills, automotive knowledge, and repair skills. "I'm trying to be courteous" LOLI went to this shop a few weeks ago to talk about a skid plate replacement, Carlos says it is messed up and cheaper to order it myself online, but zip ties the hanging piece so it doesn't drag (thank you). Says they can swap it out if I bring my car in for my next oil change, which was coming shortly. The following week I make an appointment for my oil change after ordering the skid plate so I'm prepared. I see it's not just one piece, so I take it back and Clayton puts it on the lift (thank you) and confirms I actually don't need the $100 skid plate. $25 to ship it back, no refund on shipping or the insurance, so I'm getting $60 back on a part I never needed. Go today for my 9am oil change, to be greeted by the bald guy that should absolutely not be helping people with a "We can probably have this done today, but would tomorrow be a problem"... I ask why I have an appointment, he tells me some issues neither I nor my wallet care about, following it up with instant defensiveness and an "I'm trying to be courteous". I'M trying not to lose my patience, time or any more money.
