I had the awning fabric replaced on our 24-ft class C. Dean Tarantino was always pleasant and professional. They did a good job and got it done in a day.

Don t go here. I hope to save you some trouble, time, and money after being totally ripped off. Terrible customer service across the board from owner to technicians. Before and after service is like hitting a wall both in person and on the phone. Literally these folks are hustlers. They charged for work they didn t do and did work that wasn t asked for. They don t call you while your RV is in the shop to ok the work so you can decide if it s something you can afford or really want them to do. They don t keep records on assessments they have done in the past either so if you loose the paperwork in between the assessment and wanting to complete work they will recharge you for another assessment. This shop is like going into a weird post apocalyptic vortex of Mad Max where all kindness is sucked out of the world and replaced with greed.

Caveat emptor, I should have paid attention to previous reviews. Get ALL proposed work in writing before going forward, and if the agreement is over the phone, record it or you may not get what you are paying for.My best advice, get your work done elsewhere. There is a reason this place can get you in quickly! Guess I can't post with no stars.

I really hate to give a one star review to any business but I am going to have to this time to let potential customers know what they are up against.I had suspension work done on my trailer.Had I not done a thorough inspection afterwards, it could ve been a catastrophe driving down the road at 60 miles an hour. One nut on a suspension bolt was just sitting at the top of the threads ready to fall off. After finding that I decided to pull the hubcaps off and check the lug nuts and found one lug nut with the nut also just sitting at the top of the threads.

Protect your investment. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE. I generally hesitate to review a business on here, always lean towards trying to directly resolve an issue knowing the impact a review can leave on a business down the road but I honestly have never encountered business practices like this before and feel the public should be aware of the business owner's lack of professionalism and willingness to make things right. His staff even admitted they made the mistake, but he would not own it and wanted to argue the result instead of offer a resolution. We had a new toilet installed in our camper at the end of last year after winterizing the lines and preparing it for the colder months. This was not our first visit for service - we had initially gone in for an overall check up when we first purchased the camper a few months prior to ensure everything was working properly. We obviously didn't use the RV at all over winter after having the toilet installed. Fast forward to us prepping for our first outing of the year this month, not one but ALL of the water lines had burst within our camper. After calling Boulder RV to see what would have caused this after it being in their care, they claimed we declined the "winterization" service. We invested a lot into purchasing and maintaining our investment in the first year of ownership, it would have been nice for a "trusted" business to take the same caution and care and let us know what was in their fine print at the time of service, the winterization should not be optional if YOU THE BUSINESS are putting water back into the system. The front desk people owned the mistake but in both instances of talking to John the owner, he just wanted to argue and charge us another $1300 to replace the damaged lines.I would use YouTube tutorials before bringing your investment to this clown.

I took my Aliner pop up trailer to the Longmont location for a system checkup. I specifically stated that I needed a new battery because mine was running out of life. Then I had to revisit them 3 more times as they couldn't get the battery working, although each time told me it was good to go. They even charged me an additional $200 for more work which still didn't fix the problem. The owner even had the nerve to tell me that I had been doing everything wrong and that is why it didn't work (worked perfectly for me the two years previously). When the technician walked me through the issues, it definitely was their fault for installing the wrong fuses. I still have electrical issues with the trailer due to them messing with it but I refuse to bring it back. Not to mention they disconnected my heater and never reconnected it. Just left the wires hanging out and the controller on the bed. And never put the water plugs back on so I had to go purchase new ones. They don't know, own trailers, or use trailers/RVs but pretend to know everything there is to know about them. They don't return phone calls or emails if there are problems. I would avoid this place and go somewhere with more RV/trailer knowledge. If you do go there, request Krystal as she was knowledgeable once they finally had her look at it.

I don't have enough experience with pricing with other shops so I don't really know how these guys compare there, but I never felt like it was much too high. The work has completed as expected and in a time frame that's fair. Pretty much all you can ask for there.I'm surprised by the negative reviews- I've had my camper trailer serviced here for 4 or 5 times now and have not had a bad experience. I didn't give a full 5 stars because I just don't have anything else to compare it to.

Mechanic didn t understand the systems in my RV. Could not locate drains and pump switch. I assisted, because I understand the unit. 45 minutes to dewinterize, which was not completed. First quoted $140 on phone then reduced to $120. I was charged an additional $120. for assisting because the clerk behind the counter called it training! Would not entrust my unit to this place. Don t know what they re doing.

These guys were great! I am new to the RV world. I had no idea what I needed to do de-winterize. They stopped what they were doing and helped me get my unit ready to take out. As well as teaching what they were doing.I then went back a few days later since we had a freeze coming and again I didn't know what I was going to do since I have already de-winterized it. They stopped what they were doing again and helped me drain my lines and make sure everything was open. I can't thank these guys enough.I am so grateful to Boulder RV. I will use them for all my service repairs!Service: Tires

I went here to have an inline strainer replaced and to fix a cracked sewage pipe. The inline strainer replacement went fine and I was charged a fair price. However, I was charged $40 in parts for them to patch up my sewage pipe using an epoxy. The job took at most thirty minutes for them to complete, then the epoxy took an hour to dry. Note that there wasn't any labor being performed during the dryingstage. However, I was still charged for it. I was charged an hour and a half for labor at $120 per hour for this job. The sewage pipe continued to leak about one month after the service was rendered. In all, I was dissatisfied with the quality of the work and the price. I will not be returning to this place.

I was waiting for an appointment over a week, after I explained I need a air-conditioner installed in my RV! I dropped of my RV in the morning, at noon I got told that my inverter will cost to install 250$ to hook up to wires and to install my air-conditioner will cost me 350$ ! At 4pm they called me they can not install my air-conditioner because they don't have the right tools! I spend for a taxi 60$ on that day

Horrible service. If I could give negative stars I would. Their service made me cry. They stole from me. And charged me $600 for it. I took my trailer in for the bearings to be packed and for my running lights to all have new covers put on and the wiring fixed so they worked. I have a vintage travel trailer, a 76 Avion Le Grande, it is a piece of art. I needed these two things fixed so that I could head to New Orleans from Boulder, Co. Unfortunately for me once I hit Texas and was getting gas I realized they had stolen the entire skid plate/ underbelly of my anodized aluminum trailer. I gave them a call on Sunday, left a message from the road and asked if they had forgotten to put back on my skid plate. There were a bunch of missing screws and all my gas lines and wiring were now exposed. I had been under my trailer the week before and could clearly see they had removed and not replaced about 28 feet of metal. The previously covered metal is bright and shiny, the rest of my trailer in unbuffed. Monday morning a few hours after opening I gave THEM a call. After talking to the mangager/owner briefly he assured me he would ask his technician (receipt said there were two technicians) about the missing panels. Quite a while later I got a call saying his TECHNICIAN didn t know anything about it. I asked about the second technician and he acted as if he spoke to both. When I asked if they had cameras I could review he said no cameras. He told me they never were under the trailer so there is no way it was them. They fixed my lights and HAD TO RUN A GREEN WIRE UNDER THE TRAILER! 2 our of my 6 light covers fell off during the trip. They messed with my brake controller in the truck, shoved wood down my trucks drivers window and under the trailer toilet. The trailer wiring job was done poorly with the green wire exposed along the back. Here is the list I wrote on the road of all the mess ups. I definitely cried.Truck trailer boulder rvBrakes are so sensitive now, I didn t ask you to touch brakes. Truck brakes now has orange lightSkid plate missing , now have exposed wires and gas lineRunning lights not all work. One cap fell off within 20 minExposed wire on back on trailerNot going out to trailer and going over repairsForgot to call us late and behind schedule

I took an RV 20lb horizontal propane tank to Boulder RV to have the tank inspected and have the shutoff valve repaired or replaced. The clerk told me that it couldn't be repaired and that the valve was not replaceable. I was told that I would have to buy a new one. The horizontal tanks retail for over $200. I told the clerk never mind and contacted a local propane dealer and was told to contact Wagners Welding in Longmont. They replaced the valve, inspected the tank and refilled it with propane for $38.The previous owner (Mike) was totally trustworthy. Buyer beware of taking anything in for repair. I will never use them again.

I had my RV unwinterized here. When I turned on my lights there was no power. They had hooked auxillary battery up wrong and it blew a fuse. Luckily I caught it before I left for camping trip. However I filled my tank with water but none came out of my faucets when I arrived at campsite. Another mistake they made, making me wonder why I paid over $100 to have it unwinterized.

Trust me, you will receive honest diagnosis, top quality parts and service, and customer care like nowhere else. This place is owned and operated by families who camp and believe we are all better off when we leave the city and get to the mountains for peace and serenity. I've been a customer for 15 years...and I am one of the owners! If you ever feel like you have not received the best care, feel free to ask for my contact info at the store and I will personally investigate and make it right.

I've been a customer of these guys for years and I'm always grateful they are nearby and can tackle a wide range of trailer and RV service issues. Today, on a very last minute basis, they were able to repack the bearings on a trailer I was about to tow down to Durango for someone else. They got it done in a few hours for a reasonable price, for which I'm very grateful.

Do not use these guys to re certify propane tanks. No one will honor their foil certification so no one will refill your tanks. It looks like they do this to capture a customer. The U-Haul guys say they have been doing this for quite some time. They would not refill the tank. Avoid them! They should get zero (0) stars!!!

Propane - don't refill here... price came out to over $5.50/gal... when average price in Colorado is approximately $2.55/gal. My mistake, should have asked first... but won't make it again..

I've used these guys a couple of times and felt their prices were high, but this week i learned just how bad they actually are, and how dishonest they are. I had two identical 100 pound propane tanks to fill. Took the first to the convenience store at 55th and Arapaho. It cost $52 bucks for something like 22 gallons of propane. Two days later i was on the other side of town and had the second tank with me. Went to these guys and didn't ask price, since I'd just done the fill at arapaho and assumed it would be similar. Boulder RV put about 20 gallons of propane in the tank. Total charge: $108. Dude told me, "standard rate is a dollar a pound." But thats not true. The department of energy lists propane prices every week, by the gallon, and that week the price per gallon was a little under two bucks. There are lots of places to go for propane and RV parts. These guys should be last resort.

Had them repair the awning on my trailer, also asked them to fix my waterheater,as it was intermittent. Asked about the heater when I picked it up, they said it was fine. First stop and guess what, no hot water at all. Thanks a bunch.

I took my camper to get a refrigeration issue repaired and when I got the camper back I discovered that 2 things had been damaged while it was at Boulder RV. A hinge to the stove cover had been broken off and the LP gas cover was broken. They did not notify me that either incident happened. I had to take it back and tell them. They repaired the hinge but told me the LP cover damage was not their issue (I'd asked them to replace it). Very poor experience!

Bolder RV has been great. It makes me sad to read the negative reviews because John is a really good guy. He tries hard to help everyone and give them what they need. He is absolutely one of the most honest people in this business. Please do not take into account the bad reviews. Take your business there and give them a chance. Thank you.

Boulder RV always is there for me when I need help with my RV. They are thorough and fix what is needed. I would be devastated if they weren't here. They are the best... Sorry to see the bad reviews from time past as I have had great service.

Just got off the phone with some gentlemen from this place and put me on hold right off the bat and then the conversation just turned into an agonizing explanation and questioning facade of short empty unsociable like replies in turn left me hanging on the event horizon shattering the illusion of my integrity...I digress ... to be regretful at best.the feeling of being undressed..

Since we store our camper at the same location as their new repair shop they retrieved our camper, performed the work, and put it back in storage for us. Saved me a couple of trips, talk about convenient!

Needed sending unit for propane tank on Winnebago Class A. Didn't have in stock, could order.Same on fuel tank cap.Didn't really like entrance, so came in Toad.Friendly enough, but ultimately no help. These parts are semi generic and available on Amazon, but he didn't stock either.

They were a little funny about pricing over the phone, which made sense when I saw they charged almost 40% more than retail for parts. There are plenty of other shops in town, so do yourself a favor and avoid this one.
