I made a mistake buying here.Good Prices, Terribly SLOW Service- Is this a joke gone bad?!?I've been a loyal customer of a national tire chain for over 30 years, but Costco's pricing lured me in for new tires on two different vehicles. That was a mistake.I will not be buying any more tires from CostcoPros:* Costco Pricing is Fair: They definitely offer competitive prices on tires.* Friendly Staff: The employees were helpful and informative, with none of that pushy sales vibe you sometimes get at tire stores.* Free Extras: Lifetime nitrogen refills and a solid road hazard warranty are nice perks.Cons:* Appointment Hassle: Everything requires an appointment, even rotations!* Slow Service is the Norm: Plan on waiting. Even with an appointment, it seems like they don't actually touch your car for 20-30 minutes after your scheduled time. When they finish your vehicle, they STILL seem to take their time to get the vehicle out.* Two-Hour Ordeals: Be prepared to spend at least two hours for installation or rotations, which is a big chunk of time compared to my usual tire experience.* Understaffed: I have seen just one person working the registers which means one person to handle the incoming phone calls, the people searching for what tires to buy, pricing out tires, and that same ONE person to take appointment check-ins, check-outs (yes, you stand in line again to get your key after the work is done), buy batteries, take battery core returns, etc.Overall:If you even sorta-kinda value your time, Costco might not be the best choice. However, if you can handle the long wait times, you'll be rewarded with friendly service, fair prices, and free nitrogen. Just make sure you have patience a book or two handy, more patience and more time to waste. You re gonna be there a long while. The good news is, there is a food court cause I will be there for lunch and dinner and a bed-time snack.

I used to walk in for tires and rotations. Then they started barking at me for not making an appointment. After my third time making an appointment and being told it would be an hour to 2 hours I m frustrated with it. I like the tires and have had good service, aside from the appointment scheduling. Seriously, is it the software you re using or just an inability to schedule evenly? Or perhaps the walk-ins? lol. If it s walking, stop allowing that, make it a policy.

We had a 10:00 appointment to get new tires installed. We arrived by 10:00, and there were 5 people in line at the counter, with one employee checking people in, answering phones, etc.We did not get up to the counter until 10:20, and the employee made a snide remark about us being late. We were only "late" to check in because it took him that long to get through the line.We did our shopping while we waited for the car to be done. An hour after we dropped the keys off, we were done shopping and had not yet received a call, so we went to check on it.They had not even pulled our car into the bay when we checked on it at 11:30. They then told us it would be at least another 45 minutes until it was ready.I left my baby at home with the babysitter because we had an appointment, and I should have been able to get back to him in time for his next feeding. Now he has to wait an extra hour, or more, for a feeding because Costco cannot honor their appointment times.

I got Michelin winter tires about 1 year ago at those location and scheduled tire rotations that are supposed tore complementary. After waiting for about 30 minutes, they manager informed me that they will not be bale to do is since Michelin prohibits them to perfume ration if tire tread is more than 2 mm unequal among different tires. I argued that nobody ever told me so but he ignored me. Needless to say that I was disappointed with Costco and went to discount tire and was ready to pay for it. However, they performed it for free and confirmed that they never heard of that rule.

Incredibly professional and courteous. There was an issue with my tire shipment and Jamie and Jason worked with me for 30-45 min to get it sorted and get my tires on.

Never again. Bought tires for my wife and myself. Started getting flats over and over. I had 3 in 6 months she had one got tires in December. Probably 500 mile on them. I had not had a flat tire in 15 years tell we got Costco tires. Then when you go for flat repairs they tell you it s in the side wall and you have to buy new tire. Once it was an inch and a half from the side and I had to walk ithe manager thru what 6mm =1/4 inch. Not so lucky when my wife took her car in. They would not even check the inside to see where nail went in. It was an inch plus from side wall on the top. They said it likely angled to the sidewall. Made her buy new tire. It s seemed like a good place to get tires. I won t buy any ever again.

This particular tire center has the absolute worst customer service. Although I had an appointment I waited in line for over 15 minutes just to speak to the person. The person who served me has the personality of a rock. Why can't this location have a real customer service person at the desk.

Shout out to Jason (17 years in the game).Never did I think I couldn't just trust Costco basically implicitly, but it turns out that is true. Not only did he explain how another Costco didn't do the right thing and bilked my mom out of hundreds of dollars more.He also explained how she could've saved who knows how much over the years with the 15% discount on her car maintenance over the last 5-6 years; which neither my mom nor me had a clue about and we have been members since L.A. Price Club.He even explained what potential steps to take. I was already behind schedule and figured it was a lost cause at this point but I think I'm going to try what he said as best I can remember

Worst customer service possible and not willing to help in any capacity. I d recommend buying tires elsewhere. If you prefer to spend big $$ for nothing please shop Costco tires.

There were 2 tire techs who were working, tonight, Thursday the 17th, around 8pm, Dave and Robert, I believe, they were absolutely life savers. We are from out of town and had a bolt in one of our tires, and unsure on how we were going to get it fixed since most places we closed. They fixed the tire without any hesitation. We appreciate how their customer service was so great towards us. We are Very, very grateful! We need more people like the around.

Everything seemed great at first until I got a flat tire and took my car somewhere else, where I found out they sold me old tires and they weren t even the tires I ordered. The tires they put on my car were already 3 years old at the time of installation.

Avoid! This is the worst Costco tire center I have ever been to. They don t take responsibility and have terrible customer service. They left a light on in my vehicle that drained my battery. I had to get a repair done on my vehicle separately so I did not notice the light and had not driven it for a few days after my initial pickup. Costco in general has gone downhill in recent years. Costco s insurance company called me a liar and said their is no proof that a light was left on with video evidence in the bay. Didn t say anything about after my vehicle was taken out of the bay however. Take your vehicle elsewhere.

Went into this Costco Tire shop to have a battery replaced, which I could have swore I bought only 4 months ago (so it should have been under warranty).I spoke with the Service Manager in the Tire Center - an distinguished older hispanic gentleman - who assured me that I could not have bought this battery 4 months ago because it was 4 years old. Now, I DID by a battery from this Costco Tire Center 4 months ago - and it was the exact same "type" of battery (with a different item number), and I could have swore it was for the car I took the four year old battery out of, so I assumed that they had sold me an old battery. I became very angry, since it seemed the manager was calling me a liar. I only remembered ever buying ONE battery at Costco - this one back in May 2020.I went to the Customer Service desk to clear up the matter, and they looked up the battery I brought back, and.... SURPRISE! I had purchased that battery 53 months ago and it had a 42 month warranty. So the battery I bought 4 months ago was in a different car of mine (could have SWORE it came out of the car the old battery was in - but I was wrong).Every person I spoke to on the Costco staff was kind and respectful. The Tire Center Manager was clearly upset that I was upset, and that there was a misunderstanding. I ended up leaving - mostly of embarassment for making a royal @$$ of myself.So.... to the Costco Tire Center Manager at the Lone Tree location, please accept this a humble apology by way of a 5 star Google Maps review. You, Sir, were right. I was wrong. I apologize for making a minor scene in your sales center, and for not considering that I was mistaken. I hope you can forgive me, and that this incident will not negatively affect the rest of your day or your work at the Lone Tree Costco.I ended up going to the Costco in Parker to get a NEW battery, so that my presence in the Lone Tree Costco did not cause any further stress or drama for the Tire Center staff, or embarassment for myself.Sorry you guys had to deal with me today. Thank you for doing so respectfully and professionally.Sincerely,The Jerk with the 4 year old Honda Civic 51R battery.

We had appointment for tires installation and we also purchased tires online. Check in Costco at Park Meadows was fast. They installed tires pretty fast too. It took us around 2 hours for tires installation. When we came to pick up keys, they did not have them. Basically it look like they lost our keys. We ve been waiting for 15 min while they been looking around and on parking lot for our keys. How auto center could lost car key? It s ridiculous! They forgot our key in another car. What would happened if another car owner would not notice that right away? I would not come for any service in this auto center. Even if they did installation, it doesn t mean that they been professional

I am a big fan of Costco and most of their services. The tire center is the exception and is not consistent with my usual experience with Costco. They do not value your time: 100% of the times I have visited this location I wait at least 15-20 minutes to be helped, even for a tire rotation. They always seem to be running behind schedule and there are delays even with an appointment. Compare this to Discount Tire where even on a weekend they help you right away and will rotate your tires in 15 minutes if you stop by when they open on week days. Maybe Costco management should consider expanding the tire center and hiring a few more people? Also, I used to like that they didn't have tire installation fees and didn't push warranties on you. They now have added on tire installation fees and sell warranty services. The finance guy in corporate who made this decision to add these services should be fired. Avoid this place at all costs.

My family has shopped at Costco for years and use their tire service whenever we need new tires. When it was time to get my car battery replaced, we purchased it here and installed it ourselves in the parking lot. When a piece we needed fell inside the machinery and we couldn't get it out, one of the guys at the center came outside and helped us retrieve it, even though they don't provide installation of car batteries as a service. It was a super kind gesture and we were very appreciative!

Long, long wait times. Stood in line for a good 20 minutes. Was told an hour + 15 for installation, and waited 2.5 hours just stuck there and missed work. Costco Tire callously apologized after I expressed frustration. Better off going to Discount Tires where there are at least multiple people helping at the counter.

The tire center went the extra mile to fix Costco.com screw up. Costco.com only shipped 3 of 4 tires that was ordered. The tire center had to order locally the other one to install all 4. The website took 48 hours to tell me what took one call to the tire center. Thanks to them I have 4 new tires. Again much thanks to the crew at the tire center.

Was told initially that they had plenty of time to look at it story changed to too busy then tire manufacturer wont let us look at it. Exactly what brand won t let you help with SAFETY? I had the worst experience with Costco tires. I bought brand new Bridgeton Ecopia Plus tires which lost half of it thread in just over 20,000 miles which has a warranty of 70,000. Talked to the manager of the store and he said he can only help me when the tires get completely bald and don t even believe that it is really unsafe to drive now and speculating it will run another 20K if i service it regularly. Does it make sense ? Should i wait till i get into a accident to and get a credit for worn out tires? I got pull over by cops for driving slow and he suggested me to talk to Costco and they should definitely look at it. Called customer care - the person said the same thing, did my car inspection through Firestone and Honda Dealership during yearly servicing agreed that Costco should take more responsibility as well. But the store manager Kyle doesn t care ...!!! He is adamant not to help me at all...!!!I HOPE EVERYONE CHECK THIS REVIEW BEFORE GETTING BUSINESS FROM HERE. I NEVER HAD SUCH BAD EXPERIENCE FROM COSTCO. GO TO DISCOUNT TIRES AND THEY WOULD BE MORE HELPFUL EVEN IF YOU PAY MORE.

Bought 4 tires with an 80k mile warranty, then one was leaking, and they refused to even patch it. They claimed it was bald, but being a mechanic i could see the wear indicators weren't showing yet. The honest experts at Discount Tire agreed and fixed it for me. Buy your tires at Discount Tire and you will get not only friendly faster service, but a business that honors its warranties

I ordered tires online, received a phone call that they were received in the warehouse from an install tech. I attempted to call back 10 times and first received a message that the call could not be completed. Then received a message that the number has been disconnected. I talked with online chat about the issue and all they said is that the phone lines are down and they are working on it. I tried to call the main number as well and got the same error message and then that the number had been disconnected. This wasn't a small purchase. Feeling alot like they took my $ and I won't ever get the tires installed. This was all moments after the call had been received and missed. It wasn't like I had waited to call back. If phone systems are down, it would be nice to have an alternate way to contact them.

I had to wait 2 hours to get my tires changed. It s like making an appointment a month in advance doesn t matter to them. Employees were overall rude and really had no idea as to what was going on due to the incredibly unorganized way the excuse of a business is run. After that I watched them search for my car keys for a solid 20 minutes before they could locate them (may I suggest an area to keep them just like every other car related business to ever exist!)

I pulled up to get my tires inflated not knowing that there are self inflation stations now. One of the employees annoyingly yelled at me that I can t park there followed by a manager yelling as well then proceeding to make fun of me while laughing. I don t think that s a very great way of conducting business but that s just my opinion. I ve been to other Costco tire centers that were very considerate and professional.
