First time using TRUE automotive. Initially brought my 4runner in for an oil change and was informed a seal on the suspension in which they were able to repair same day. I worked with tech Christian who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and informative with everything going on with my car. Pricing was incredibly competitive, and turn around time was impressive. Cannot recommend true automotive and particularly tech Christian enough!

Complete Auto Repair always takes great care of my vehicle. They are kind, attentive and honest. When we first moved here about 4 years ago we wanted a honest mechanic and this place came highly recommended. We have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend them!

Car repairs are never fun. I m happy to say, however, that TRUE Automotive made our situation much better. Great communication and flexibility, above and beyond customer service! I m happy to recommend them and will definitely be back (though hopefully not soon)

My uncle has been going to them for years! So when I asked where to go for auto work, my uncle had no hesitations when referring me to Complete Auto Repair. The workers are super friendly and helpful. It is one of the only auto repair shops that I trust. They also bring up that if you want to look around for other prices on whatever work you need, show them the price, and they can try to match it. I will definitely continue to go to them! Highly recommend! But just know that they are remodeling a bit inside for a short time, so it may look a little chaotic inside when you first arrive until they finish.

Staff was super friendly and great at communicating. They all seemed immensely trustworthy and seemed like they really had my best interest in regards to price. They ask before they do anything and have you approve so no surprise fees. They also have a shuttle which is unique :)

The staff was very nice, the waiting room was comfortable, there were plenty of complimentary snack options, and they asked me plenty of questions in order to make it right. I had two of my missing splash guards replaced which at the end rang up to $69.69. Really nice place and if you have any problems with their work like I did, they'll do everything they can to make it right.

I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!I currently, drive a 99 Corolla with 340,000 miles on it. I ve had my car serviced by Complete Auto Repair for well over a decade. Recently the business changed hands from a Mom and Pop shop to a larger company and I still receive the same awesome service! The two guys at the front desk, Jeremy and Damien, always greet me by name as if we were old friends and have known each other for ages.Prices may be steep, but I d prefer to use this garage rather than trying to find something new. I m always given options on which way to handle whatever my car needs and they explain everything in detail. You won t be sorry using this business

I love these guys! Definitely will be my mechanics for life! Looking to have the engine in my hyundai replaced and they did research and recommend I go directly to the dealer. When i go to pay for the diagnostic fee they said not to worry. I've owned several cars and had them serviced by them and they have always been fair and direct. I recommend you make them your mechanics as well!

Best place to take your car to! Some of the most communicative people to help me since owning my car. They are super straightforward and the most honest people when it comes to any situations with your car. They helped me in a tough spot and made a terrible situation a lot easier to deal with. I would recommend them to everyone.

This place changed ownership over the summer and now is little more than your average brakes, tires, and rotors scam shop. I took my car in a few weeks back for an oil change and another small job. They forgot the small job twice, and I had to remind them twice for it to be completed. On top of it they said tires, brakes, and rotors all needed replaced. They told me my brakes were down to 1.5mm. I declined the work and took it to another mechanic in town. Rotors were fine, brakes measured at 4.5mm. So they lied to me about my car to get more business. On top of it all, the tires they said needed replaced went flat within a few days after leaving the shop. I inspected them and found screws and nails in them. Now, that could be coincidence, but shouldn t they have notified me of a possible puncture? There s a small chance I picked them up after leaving the shop, but given the other issues I mentioned, I m going to label it as highly suspicious. There s loads of other shops in town. Go somewhere else. Anddon t trust any reviews before June 23, they are effectively from a different shop. Be safe out there.

I ve been bringing my car to Complete Auto Care for basic maintenance, and any time I ve had an issue, the technicians kept me up to date on all needs and pricing. They were recently bought by TRUE Automotive, and they fixed up the building and have as high of quality as before. I m glad they are still family owned, and they still provide a personal touch. I will only take my car there!Services: Tires, Electrical, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Everyone at True is excellentAs a first time customer (with an unusual sound below the hood) and no appointment, Darien bent over backwards (and through a few burning hoops), to assit me with recieving warranty coverage from a former shop. Keeping me constantly updated via text, explaining the diagnosis shared by his skilled associates, accomodating me while I had a medical setback, and all with his kind, friendly, professional mannerMaking certain my vehicle was clear of problems, taking time to lift the hood and listen to my questions and provide a thorough explanation of the work completedThe entire experience was like '1956 all over again !Thank you Darien, and the good folks who cared enough to provide me with honest and affordable serviceMike McKeenLakewood CO

I found my new Mechanic!! They are very honest which is rare. The 1st appt I came in for to change my battery (tire has to be removed in order to do so) they didn't have a lift and had to RS my appt out a week. When I came in for my 2nd appt today I was very shocked but so grateful that they waived the $60 fee due to having to wait anther week.. The last couple weeks feels like everything that can go wrong will so that really really took some stress off of me and I'm so so so grateful, I will make sure to pay fwd that kindness

I received a coupon for an oil change so decided to bring my Lexus RX350 in for the first time. I was greeted by two very pleasant employees that answered all of my questions with such a positive attitude. They told me it would be 1 hour and it was 1 hour! Everything was to my complete satisfaction and I will definitely use their services again in the future :)Service: Oil change

Edit*Theo reached out to me and we discussed the experience. He apologized and said he d talk with his team about my experience. He also kindly agreed to refund a good portion of what I originally paid. I do appreciate him taking the time to talk and rectify the situation as much as he could. Bumped up my original review rating because of this. Still not thrilled, but I always respect efforts to win business back.Very frustrated with this place and definitely won t be returning. I initially took my car in for an overall inspection when I first moved to the Lakewood area in June of this past summer (2023). I smelled rubber burning when I drove my car. They told me everything looked great, my car was in great condition and all was well. Rubber burning smell stopped. Whatever. Then a few weeks ago I thought I felt my brakes going out. They didn t seem as responsive and were a bit squeaky. Decided to take it back to this auto shop since they seemed honest and knowledgeable. I scheduled an appointment for November 2nd at 7am. A day or two before the appointment they called me asking if they could move my appointment back a week since they were busy, short staffed etc. Stuff comes up, I get it. I agreed to push the date back to November 9th. Until then, I wasn t driving my car because I thought my brakes were unreliable.November 9th, I bring my car in at 7am. I don t hear anything from them all day, so around 4pm I called them asking if there was an update. They told me my brakes looked fine, but they found various other leaks that needed immediate attention. I found it odd they didn t mention these severe leaks to me when they evaluated my car a few months earlier (and charged me about $160 to check it, so I m hoping it was a thorough evaluation) but brushed it off. I had no reason to believe they were being dishonest, so I agreed to the work and told them to keep the car until they could fix it. They told me they needed to order certain parts and they wouldn t arrive until Monday, so my car wouldn t be ready until Monday or Tuesday November 14th at the latest. I said that s fine and signed off on the $1,200 repair.Tuesday comes and goes and I haven t heard anything from them. No call, no text, no email. I got very busy at work on Wednesday and couldn t call them, but they did not call me either. Finally, Thursday afternoon rolls around and I ve still heard nothing from them. I call them and someone named Chris answered. I asked if my car was ready, he said it d be ready November 17th. I told him great, I ll be by first thing in the morning to pick it up. Then he tells me I wouldn t come by first thing in the morning, it won t be ready . At this point I m getting increasingly frustrated because I was told my car would be ready two days ago and since then I haven t gotten a single update from them. I ask him when it will be ready, he says maybe the afternoon. I tell him I NEED the car by 12-1pm as I had appointments and other things scheduled. He told me he d make 1pm work. I show up at 1pm and the car isn t ready! At this point I am visibly upset and the guy at the front desk assured it ll be done BEFORE 3pm. I did not get the car before 3. I got the call around 3:30pm while I was in my appointment. I picked it up and did not get any type of apology even after the guy basically guaranteed it would be done before 3pm. I didn t even say anything at that point, I was too tired. Please just never take your car here. All in all, they tied up my car for 2+ weeks. I am quite forgiving and understanding, so I don t mind working with people a bit, but this is just ridiculous. I moved the appointment back not one or two days, but an entire WEEK to give them time to figure out their staffing and catch up on work. The lack of communication, the moving of my appointment and STILL delivering my car to me late is enough. I referred my partner to this shop for his new car but I ve since advised he look elsewhere and you do too.

Worst experience of my life at an autoshop for an extremely basic service: oil change.I went here for the first + last time to get an oil change in early July 2023. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment, and because of that, the mechanic who was assigned to service my car took his lunch break without communicating with the front desk people. I waited about 40 minutes in the lobby area before I noticed that my car hadn't moved from where I parked it. After talking with a woman at the front desk, she told me that the mechanic thought I wasn't coming and so took his lunch early and that he would bring my car in right away to start. The whole experience took 2 hours. After driving my car for 10 days around the Lakewood area, I went up to my job at the time in Red Feather Lakes, CO - an isolated mountain retreat center. The town of Red Feather Lakes was a 35-minute drive and didn't offer any kind of auto store supplies, and Fort Collins was at least an hour drive away. A co-worker of mine noticed a significant oil leak and oil trail and finally found out it belonged to my car. I am not mechanically savvy, so he and another co-worker looked under my hood for me and discovered that my oil filter wasn't properly tightened + I had leaked 1-quart of oil over the last 12 days since getting my oil changed here. I worked hybrid, so mostly remotely from Lakewood, and occasionally drove up to Red Feather Lakes when necessary. My trip that was supposed to be 3 days in the mountains turned into a 6 day trip because I had to wait for someone who was making a trip to Fort Collins to pick me up a quart of oil to put back into my car, before I felt safe enough to return to Lakewood. I called the shop and spoke to Darian, the new + younger manager at this shop who repeatedly told me he preferred I bring my car in to look at it himself to make an accurate assessment of what might be wrong with my car. He also mentioned that they switched databases and didn't have access to any detailed information about my services beyond the basics, like type of oil, date of service, filter type, etc. Once I was back in Lakewood, I took my car in to the shop per Darian's request and he had the audacity to bring me into the back shop and him & one of the mechanics stood there and told me that there was something else wrong with my car + that was the reason for my oil leak. It was obvious in that conversation that I didn't know much about cars + I felt that at that point, both the mechanic + Darian took liberties in explaining all of the possible worn down pieces that could and/or definitely needed replaced + repaired and that those things were the only plausible reason for my oil leak. When Darian went to shut the hood of my car, he closed it without putting the metal arm down & bent that piece, later making it almost impossible for me to utilize it to look under my hood. We went back into the office & Darian gave me a verbal quote for the additional "issues" I had with my car & didn't even apologize for anything regarding my oil leak. Nor did he offer anything free - in fact, he tried to upsell me on a repair that later my trusted mechanic that I've been using for years, told me didn't need to be repaired. Not even close.I later called the shop back to discuss the bent arm, and Darian ordered a replacement but claimed he didn't realize he bent it.Oil changes aren't rocket science for well trained + attentive mechanics. I will NEVER go back to this place & I have warned by word of mouth against any of my friends utilizing their services. I consistently have a better experience at Take 5 or even Grease Monkey when I need a last-minute oil change, instead of taking it to my regular mechanic because of my poor planning.UPDATE: Theo the shop owner reached out to me, and we talked at length about my experience and he expressed genuine surprise + embarrassment for what occurred during my visits and for the way his staff handled the situation. Theo also apologized and gave me a refund for the service. I would give my interaction with Theo 4 stars.

These guys value their reputation, and dealt honestly with me in my diagnosis/repair. They will make sure you have a solid customer service experience so that you're a repeat customer and that you tell your friends. It's a win-win situation.

Brought my car in for a major repair, which took a long time, mostly due to issues getting parts, but which they went above and beyond for... overall, a great shop! The people are kind and transparent- Mike R and Darian were personable and super helpful, and Mike T was knowledgeable and explained all the details and actually listened to me and showed me the issue! I will definitely return!!!

Based off the costs they charge, one would think there would be a level of professionalism. I've used them a couple of times and it's ridiculous that once I drop off the car, I have no idea when they will look at it or when I will get it back, this is even with scheduling an appointment. Yet they tell me they will do better. They've told me they value my business but yet they do not stick to appointments. I've recommended several people here and they get the same treatment. It's like this place "picks and chooses" the customers they want.

I was referred to Complete Auto Care. I had an appointment which was scheduled just about a week in advance. I dropped the car off today when they opened. I was told the inspection would happen today as their board was clear. I called to see if their was an update and they guy I spoke to said they were backed up. 7.5 hours ago they were not backed up. All I was told was I could come pick up the car or wait for the inspection. This company clearly has certain customers who get priority access to the mechanics and certain customers don't. Appointments don't mean anything with this company.UPDATE -About 30 minutes after posting initial review regarding lack of customer service, someone calls back letting me know the inspection was done and they could not duplicate the problem. If 30 minutes earlier you had not taken it in and now your done, tells me they did not do an inspection. He actually told they drove about two miles and could not duplicate in the conditions I described. I called him out asking how do you get a car warmed up in two miles. I left made it a mile up the road to the high school and the problems happens.I called the other location to ask for the owner, and all I was told is we are corporate owned and the corporate name is Simply True Automotive Group, which to no surprise hides their contact information from the public.
