Sterling is a great guy who puts his customers first. He's gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to make sure I'm happy and that has me always returning to him. He specializes in German cars (VW, Audi, BMW) and race cars in general. Everything from brake and oil changes to doing motor swaps and CHCA race car preparations.Don't ever hesitate to consider take your vehicle to Sterling!

Sterling found an oil seep and coolant leak that have been hounding me for 12 months. This shop came recommended to me by a trusted VW guy in Massachusetts. Sterling has a well earned national reputation for quality work, so it did take me a few weeks to get in to see him. TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT.Neither a dealership nor a local lube & tune place could tell me where where the mysterious "leaks" were coming from - but he did! Got it fixed for a very fair price, too. I also left with a small list of repairs for my Mark V rabbit that need to be handled, in priority order, which has never happened in my car owning life. It really helps with planning and budgeting. Sterling is great! He is friendly and listens and has helped me out numerous times with our VW Eurovan Camper. He s made time for me when things go wrong unexpectedly, provided thoughtful solutions and even comp d/warranted service that didn t resolve the issue the first time. Been taking my car to Sterling for about a year and had nothing but friendly, genuine, and phenomenal service! I recently took my car into Sterling for a few pretty bigger fixes and he was nice enough to throw in multiple small parts and instances of labor to help me out! He mentioned he really enjoys helping customers do bigger fixes because he has no problem throwing in small parts. That way when a customer comes to pick up there car, it seems new! When I picked my car up it definitely had a new wow factor to it! He cleaned my engine, exterior and parts of the interior! This man genuinely cares about his customers and cars!

Sterling was great. I needed a timing belt change on my 2000 VW bug and he was incredible. Went above and beyond with the service, even telling us about any other minor fixes and part changes we might need and throwing some in at no extra cost to us. After working on my car, he went through in detail what he changed and why in a very helpful way. Extremely friendly and personable and I m very glad we took my car to Sterling!

I don't believe in the 4-star ratings this place got. Anybody can write a fake review & I'm sure they did it for this shop too! I called several times & left messages, but never even received a callback. Probably couldn't hear the phone due to the loud noise from chopping up those cars..

Can't send enough praise his way. First got to know Sterling when he diagnosed and solved a problem that a VW dealership struggled with, and since then he's been my go-to for everything auto. He's accommodating, educational, and dedicates himself to exceeding expectations. Awesome awesome dude running an exemplary service.

Sterling was great! I had an issue with my 1990 Chevy Silverado and was looking for mechanics close by because I was worried about driving it too far. I saw some great reviews but also saw that he was primarily a VW and Audi guy, but since the reviews also commented on him being honest and friendly....I figured I'd give him a try. He did not disappoint! He explained what he thought the issue might be and understood that since it was an old beater...I wasn't looking to dump too much money into it. He suggested a couple minor things and then see how it went from there. He kept the lines of communication open during the whole process and made it clear I was looking to fix what needed to be fixed...not all the things that could be fixed. It was the first time I felt like I wasn't being nickled and dimed by a mechanic. He even gave me some pointers on things I could do myself to help minimize further/future costs. What I was worried was going to turn into a stressful and expensive experience was much much less than I had expected and not stressful at all. THE FRO WAS AWESOME! Thanks Sterling!!!

I drive a volkswagen passat and I get all my work done here. Always good fair prices.
