I called to inquire about an issue I have converting an '02 Tacoma to LED lighting. Art answered and visited with me at great length, while relaying his personal experience. I sincerely appreciate his honesty and patience in answering my questions. You talk about 'Good ol Fashioned Service' ! Art is the BEST! Thank you Merrill !

Great honest place to get your vehicle repaired quickly. Always available and they handle things in a timely manner. I don't feel like I get the run around, not many honest mechanics left out there!

Not business we want & Hung upI have a 2014 Ram 3500 diesel that had an electrical issue. Describing the situation and answering questions, the tech was conveying the issue was possibly too complex for Merrill to handle. That was surprising to me! Confirming I could easily take out the only non-oem component aftermarket HID headlights and deliver to them with stock set-up , he condescendingly retorted hoW will YoU byPaSS THE bAllAsts? We dON T waNT YouR BuSinEss , and HUNG UP ON ME! (its very easy to put OEM back in & bypass the ballasts, if you don t know)If you have something simple, Merrill is fine. If you have something challenging, COLORADO AUTO ELECTRIC was absolutely AWESOME to work with!!

Zack and the team at Merrill were 6/5 stars. Excellent service but just as good if not better human beings. Thought my power stealing was out but after a diagnostic test the team was able to get me taken care of with a much less expensive repair. I was recommended by one of the employees to not bring our 8 passenger van in to be tested for a parasitic draw as they would not be able to find one. I installed my own tester and did some testing. My results were confusing. I called Merrill and described the issue, I was given great information explaining why I would get the results I get and what I can do to resolve the issue. This was all given to me free of charge. A company who will give advice like this is one I will trust when I do need to take the vehicle in.Service: Electrical repair

The crew here knows their stuff when it comes to electrical issues. I had a fender bender with my 2005 Aucura TL and assumed my battery draining had something to do with my front passenger side headlight out, leading to a short that was killing my battery if I didnt drive it everyday. They checked the voltage and integrity of the battery and cables, and asked if I wanted to replace the battery because it may be a factor in the bad (voltage) reading. I said yes, and I agreed to have them replace the battery terminals and fix the grounding cable. Ever since then, I can leave my car not driven for days and there is no problem! No more having to disconnect my terminals every night and connect them whenever I need to drive my car!In addition to being very knowledgeable in their specialty, these guys are friendly, respectful, and they wear masks and have hand sanitizer available. Any further electrical problems I am definitely coming back here. Support local, help keep them alive during this time of covid and shutdowns.Thanks so much for your help!

These guys are superstars! They go above and beyond every single time. I'm a delivery driver and I use my personal vehicle for work so I end up with a lot of wear & tear. This is a solid team with service that goes above and beyond, fair prices, and great results. I've never felt more confident with my car maintenance. On top of everything else, this is a family-run shop and it absolutely reflects in their business practices. The techs probably are great, but whoever does the record keeping and appointments needs improvement. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance and they're trying to say we never called or booked. They wanted us to leave our truck there overnight anyway which is a huge red flag when they charge by the hour.

Worst service I have EVER experienced! Bigotry has no place in customer service! They didn't listen to what I told them it was doing and under what circumstances it was doing it, they lied about getting permission from my husband to put gas in it, they felt the need to drive it more than TWENTY MILES after I told them it would stall in less than two. The old man at the front kept interrupting me, talking over me, ignoring everything I even tried to say, until I literally had to yell at him to shut up and let me say what I was trying to say because he was being SO RUDE! They refused to let me speak to the mechanic, every time I asked a question about what they looked at he gave me the MOST vague answer, and I had to ask VERY specific questions just to get a straight answer. HORRIBLE place!!! I would give this place less than a zero if that were possible. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!Service: Electrical repair

The boys at Merrill are awesome! They always take care of me and my family. They do great work and treat us well. Prices are fair, I never feel ripped off. They do their absolute best to take care of our aging vehicles. Highly recommend them for your automotive needs.

Had squeaky breaks so I had my breaks and rotors replaced along with a full synthetic oil change. Priced right but best of all no more squeaky breaks.

Made an 8am Monday morning appointment last week for a wheel alignment. Was told I could wait and it would take about an 1 - 1.5 hours. Arrived this morning at 8:05, was told that their techs were not there yet (they open at 7:30) and they did not know when they would arrive. In addition I was told the wait would be more like 4.5 - 5 hours. When I mentioned what I was told when I made the appointment I was told sternly by the 'gentleman' behind the counter that he 'has been in the industry for 56 years and that's not how it works.'There are many fine auto shops in this area that know the most valuable thing is their clients time. Don't waste your's here.

I was in desperate need of new tires. Which had to be ordered. A snowstorm had me stuck in town an extra day. They were able to bump my appointment up 4 days. The total was far less than I expected and the service second to none! I look forward to using them for all my automotive needs. They're also a great group of guys!! Very kind and welcoming.

I really like this place, all the guys (and especially Zach) very nice and knowledgeable. I had a lot of work done on my car and they got it done in a timely manor, was able to get some hard to find parts because my car is no longer manufactured.
