Fantastic and trustworthy local business! They were able to get me in quickly for an estimate (dropped off in the morning with plan to pick up at the end of the day). I was expecting it to be a pretty significant (and expensive) repair, but they ended up finding a minor issue that they fixed that day (and for a reasonable price). I really appreciate when car repair places don t recommend things you don t need and take time to explain things to you. I m definitely planning to go back for my next service!

Unfortunately I got a DUI and have a blow box on my car. Since then I have completely quit drinking, have paid my dues, and have a blow box on my car with several interchangeable mouth pieces for mechanics to use. I spoke to Laura on the phone who made me feel rejected and worse about my situation saying "nobody would want to work on your car if they had to use the blow box, would you?". I get it. I made a mistake. But all I wanted was a vehicle repair, not a moral degradation lesson. She said she would ask the owner, but I instead have found several other mechanics more than happy to work with me and my vehicle who also have worked around the blow boxes. Plus I didn't get the guilt trip. Laura, no thank you.

Solid shop for my Lexus and Honda over the years. Avoid dealer svc. markups and go here. Trusted and honest, which counts for a lot. I've bought used cars, taken them here and said, "Find everything wrong with it." Could've taken me to the cleaners, but being a business with strong integrity, they did not. Simply pointed out basic service items and went from there. Recommend 100%.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Excellent mechanic services. Very honest, efficient, quick yet thorough. The dealership wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars replacing fluids that didn t need replacement. Hi-Tech Import Automotive focused on taking care of what was really needed without incurring in high expenses. They saved me a thousand bucks literally. I will never go back to the dealership. I m a Hi-Tech Automotive loyal customer from now on. Hi-Tech consistently provides great service. Can t say enough about Craig, Don and their crew. After working in/with shops for many years, I can confidently say these guys are the best. Consistently impressing me, with quality work, customer service and reasonable pricing. I am not one for bringing my vehicle into the shop, and usually tend to work on it myself to ensure the job is done correctly. Of course I have my limitations and some things are indeed out of the question. I trust no one and I mean NO ONE with my vehicle other than Hi-Tech. I trust themI have been taking vehicles to Craig and Don for as long as they ve been in business here. They know what they re doing, give me honest answers and reliable, quality service. I ve always been happy with their work and advice. I once took a used car I was about to purchase to them and they told me not to buy it and why. They don t take advantage; they are a company and people of integrity as well as competence. I give my highest recommendation. My only complaint: they re going to need to expand eventually because they are THAT good.

I've used Hi-Tech Import Automotive services for well over a decade and although they have ALWAYS impressed me with quality work and reasonable costs, the experience I JUST had necessitates a KUDOS! One of my cars required immediate service; in conversation with Craig (owner), he understood the urgency and my time frame. Craig went to bat for me, all parts ordered and service completed in record time! The quality workmanship I have come to appreciate under his watchful eye and fully competent staff assures I will continue keeping Hi-Tech my one-stop-shop! AWESOME as usual...

Craig, Don and the crew at Hi-Tech are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I had an unusual but pressing issue with my car that needed immediate attention. Craig looked at my car the day I called in (Friday) and fit me into a full schedule the following week for the repair. I ll never go back to the dealer for service. If you need a repair or just regular maintenance, go here. These guys are the best!

Craig, Don and the team at Hi-Tech Import Automotive are awesome! Craig, the owner has a ton of experience (especially with Toyota) and you can tell he really cares. As a woman who doesn't know a lot about cars, it's always a little scary that you are going to get sold services that you don't need. I don't have to worry about that with Hi-Tech. They treat you like family and never mark things up like the dealers do!!! I highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

Craig and his mechanics really know what they are doing. My 2002 Toyota Tacoma was not running well and they made a quick diagnosis and did a great job with the repair. They also gave me practical feedback on other service items that needed attention and I was able to decide how best to spend my limited repair funds. I have renewed confidence that, with regular service, my Toyota will last me a long, long time. Support a small business, support a local business, support a good business.

I have been coming to Hi-Tech Import Automotive for over 15 years, even back when George and Mary owned the store. I was concerned when the shop was sold to new owners, but Craig and his crew are absolutely fantastic. They are extremely knowledgeable and skilled, as well as totally honest, and very personable. They are able to explain the problems they identify with your car, and what needs to be done to remedy the problem; and they never perform or suggest work be performed when it is unnecessary. I find them to be fair in what they charge for labor, and unlike some shops, they do not overprice parts. I trust these guys 100% and I cannot say that about any other automotive shop. I want to recommend this shop to everyone because I know I can do that with full confidence that everyone I refer would be happy. However, if I recommend this shop to everyone, I'll never be able to get my car in!

Craig, Don and crew are knowledgeable and skilled mechanics that do great work at a fair price. Dependable, make time to go over the issues and solutions, and repairs are done quickly. I have a couple of older Lexus vehicles and we're going to get 300K out of each of them because of Hi Tech.

I have enjoyed taking my Camry and my 4Runner to Hi-Tech for many years. Craig and Don are pleasant to work with, they know their cars, they make the correct repairs and they tell you exactly what needs to be done. Great Company.

The guys at Hi Tech are the best. I've been taking my Honda and Lexus vehicles there for years and always receive excellent service. They are honest about the service your car needs, and will never try to push a repair you can defer until later. Even though I live across town, I drive 40 minutes out of my way to get my cars serviced at Hi Tech.

I made an appointment to get my 2006 Toyota Tacoma inspected (vibrations from stops). They accurately identified the problem, among others, and offered a very fair price in order to resolve the issues. I also gave them a short notice deadline for my truck to be returned. They efficiently completed the task and had my tuck ready to go earlier than I expected. Since the repairs, my truck drives like its brand new. Excellent service. Thanks!

I want to let everyone know that this place is not owned by the same people anymore. My significant other and his family went here for years and loved the old owners- the shop was reliable and honest.However, it switched hands but kept the same name. The new owner is not as honest. I came in with a very basic issue- my door didn't open from the inside (but it did open from the outside!). A colleague's husband used to do my car repairs (but they moved out of state) but I called him to check. The new owner tried to tell me that I needed to replace the entire door latch ($450). However, that seemed fishy- I was told by my friend that if this was the case the outside door handle wouldn't work either. I took it to another mechanic (Ralph's Foothills Service) and they fixed it for under $100!The mechanic I spoke to at Hi-Tech also tried to nail me for a lot of add ons (for instance, putting some cheap windshield wash in my car). When I told them that I hadn't asked for it, he got frustrated and said they would just pour it out!Overall, Hi-Tech quoted me with $856 in necessary work. When I took it to Ralph's, they checked everything Hi-Tech quoted and took care of the issues they saw for only $286.46!I want everyone to know this so that you don't get scammed.

I have been going to Hi-Tech Import Automotive for at least six years. I originally found the business on Car Talk's website. I have not ever been disappointed. While the business has changed ownership and the new owner was a mechanic at under the former management, the integrity, honesty and excellent work has not changed. I still take my cars to Hi Tech for all of my mechanic needs. Others whom I've recommended this shop have been grateful. In fact, just today, I had an issue come up with my Tacoma pickup truck and it was taken care of the same day. Why go to anyone else?

The guys at Hi-Tech automotive really care about their customers. I have been taking my car to this automotive shop for 20+ years and could not ask for better. Recently I was in a 7-car collision; Craig Lear cared so much about my situation, he made sure the next car I purchased was dependable, affordable and safe. I am a single mom with four children and love the fact that they tell me exactly what I need so my vehicle is ready for the road with no worries. That is so important to me. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!
