Bottom line, if you're looking for an honest mechanic business, don't go here! Brought my car in for a routine oil change right before Christmas last year. A few days later, my engine started smoking while I was an hour and a half away from home on my way to see family for Christmas. The cap wasn't put on tightly and all the oil was ejected. The owner here has been in the business for 20-30 years and knows that oil caps don't just randomly pop off, but they proceeded to gaslight me anyway. "Oh, it would have started leaking as soon as you left our shop" and "We have video that we put it on tightly."They originally told me they'd call the local Grease Monkey where I was stuck on my road trip to get an oil change, but they never did and I had to pay for another oil change, an engine checkup and lost a day on the road. Could have been way worse, but my engine was ultimately okay. I would have pressed the issue if it was totaled and probably should have anyway, but I had other pressing matters at the time. I'm not mad that they made the mistake. Mistakes happen. I just wish he would have owned up to it. I used to go to the grease monkey off Wads & Mississippi for all my oil changes since 2015, but after my first trip to this one on Colfax, I'll never go to another grease monkey again.

Owner Paul Rivera and his crew are excellent, knowledgeable, certified professionals in auto repair. Cost is competitive, but lower than other auto repair chains. They were able to find a problem I had with an oil leak for over a year. And fixed it with very little cost.Every time I visit this shop, I am greeted with a smile and friendly employees.Best business ever!!

Took me in even tho I was a little late to arrive when they take their last car, and finished oil change so fast. The tech was really nice and professional. Great experience.

This place was wonderful! I had a metal plate dragging on the bottom of my vehicle. I called, was told I could come in. It took them five minutes to fix it, and they were SO KIND. Highly recommend this Grease Monkey!

Do NOT go here. I wish I had taken the negative reviews more seriously. Went in for a routine oil change, was told I needed $1,400 worth of work on my brakes. When I went to get a second opinion I realized I had been lied to and they stole my money. The manager Paul completely conned me. Don t waste your time and money here, go down the street to Dr Drives instead, a place of trustworthy and honest mechanics with morals and skill.

Always greeted with kindness & speed here. Guys are honest & straight forward. Grew up going to grease monkeys & they stand true to the brand. No appointment & always have little coupons online that help.

Thank you to Paul and the Grease Monkey staff! After going back and forth with a mobile mechanic for over a month, and multiple missed appointments later, I finally brought my Jeep, with an oil leak, to Paul s shop. He diagnosed the issue, and quoted me around $500 to perform the work. I made the appointment, and upon further inspection, it was determined the original diagnosis was a much simpler fix, which the guys did at no charge. THANK YOU Paul, and the Grease Monkey team for being honest and helpful!

After a basic oil change my skid plate partially fell down while driving on the interstate getting mangled and shredded. Reaching out to them initially they seemed super concerned and helpful, Paul said they would replace it no problem just to bring my car back to determine which plate to order. We set a day and time which he did not show up for and I was told he did not work weekends (a day we scheduled and the only days I am off work). A few phone call attempts later I got him and he seemed super apologetic. I came in on a week day and confirmed which part I needed but said he was having difficulty finding the part and would call me when he found and ordered it. Its now been over a month since that interaction and since August when the damage occurred. I have not heard from Paul and he does not seem to be in any time Ive called to check since he said he was ordering the part. In addition to this I am concerned my car is leaking oil as a result of the damage.

Brighton and his team here are the best. Honest, quick, and they always take care of you. Just got my oil changed there today. Unbeknownst to Brighton and the team, they installed an oil filter that had a manufacturer defect. About an hour after leaving, the filter popped off and my car basically died. I called up there and within 10 minutes, Brighton had driven to me with his emergency kit and fixed me good as new. While it s a bummer that inconvenience happened to me, it was through no fault of the team up there. More importantly, they immediately made it right. That s great business. Thanks again Brighton!!!!!

I drive 42 miles to this specific location because the owner is a kind, intelligent and hands on person. His staff is always friendly. Any issues are discussed (positive or concerning) and there is no pressure to add a service. I completely trust this business for all my vehicles. Short wait times and warm cookies!! Fast service and knowledgeable/friendly staff. The prices here might not be the cheapest in town but I think the customer experience here is well worth it for routine car maintenance compared to a Walmart Auto Center.

Shoutout to Jeff and Paul!!! They got me in immediately when I called 3 other places and the wait times were ridiculous!!! Only thing is they said it would take 15 mins, but they ended up getting unexpectedly busy so it took 30 mins bc my oil filter wouldn t come off! Regardless I m happy with the outcome and this is my new spot for oil changes and maintenance! Super cool dudes too!!Service: Oil change

After an oil change here, the car leaked oil on my garage floor. It never leaked before this oil change done at 87k miles. Took the car back to them and they discovered the oil pan plug was not seated correctly. They corrected the issue without hassle, which is why they get more than one star from me.

Just purchased a new used truck and came in and had all fluids replaced at about 140,000 miles. Front and rear diff's, transmission, transfer case, power steering, master clutch, brake fluid, and coolant. Since I was having so much done The owner recommended I come in the following monday so he could do it personally himself. During the process he would periodically come in and show me various things that he had found, such as the oil in the front diff didn't look like it had ever been changed, and the oil in the rear diff which was supposedly serviced by the dealership before I bought it was the wrong type of oil! The whole job took about two hours, and was a little more than HALF the price of the nearest big chain competitor. Great place, great people... Highly recommend!!!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Oil change

Striped my oil plug on a brand new car took it to the dealer to have it fixed because I don t trust these guys to make it correct .owner claimed he would pay the repair bill no matter what was wrong and if it was some thing they did it was 200 bucks and he didn t want to pay for it. Poor mechanic skills,poor customer service and a poor business owner that likes to lie to his customers. This happened about a 3 months ago and gave them every opportunity to make it right but they refused
