Worst experience ever. Poor customer service. I came to get repairs from an insurance claim. After the fact, they refused to work on my car due to prior damage. I go to pick my car up, bumper is cracked again that was was previously worked on and repaired. They wouldn't even fix it back to how it was when I dropped car off. Will be reporting to BBB.updated 4/11/24Still horrible customer service. Wouldn't fix what they estimated to fix and cracked my bumper after the fact. Jennifer D was of no assistance in my bumper being cracked. She did not deny Gerber cracked it, but never gave a solution on how they were going to resolve getting it fixed. I left a google review yesterday and got a response back from the owner advising Jennifer D already spoke to me. Yes, she spoke to me, didn't help, so I left a review, and I would like the owner to reach out to me on some type of resolution. I am still getting poor customer service and no actual accountability.

These guys are seriously THE BEST! They repaired my car several months ago after I got rear-ended and were so friendly, helpful, and communicative through the entire process. I called them just a few days ago because my car was making a noise that I was concerned may be related to the accident, and they were more than accommodating. They got my car in just a few days later, did the diagnostic, helped locate and alleviate the source of the noise all in the same day. Huge shout out to the manager Jenny and tech Isaiah. Dishonest and shady employees and business practices.If you use this auto shop, document every conversation down to the date, time, person and title. The employees and managers play pass the buck and never give straight answers.My vehicle was brought there after an accident because it was an insurance verified shop. It took three weeks just to get an inspection. My vehicle was deemed a total loss. When I went to collect my personal belongings, I was told I couldn t take my WeatherTech floor mats because they were part of the value of the vehicle . I was later informed by my insurance company that I should have been allowed to take them. When I reached back out to Gerber, I was told they would never say that but they would look into getting me reimbursed. I am still waiting for that phone call back with the approval from upper management. My guess is the employee got a nice little check from the pawn shop selling my floor mats.I wouldn t recommend this shop, employees or managers to anyone.

Poor customer service, Bad organization, broader company issues.Yikes. I chose this place through state farm. They were a disaster my main point of contact Tiffany quit/fired. I came in for a precheck with a hail specialist and I sat down with a guy and went over a game plan and the date was set. I called and confirmed with Tiffany.When I arrived after two months of waiting they had nothing for me, and the guy that had taken over from Tiffany was insecure, and bounced between placating and gas lighting me. He refused to give me a confirmed timeline potentially leaving me on the hook for a car rental.Seems like if this is a corporate branch, they haven t been doing a good job of maintaining organization or leadership .

Every part of my collision process went so smoothly!! I brought my car in 6/26 to have my bumper replaced and I was back to driving it by 6/30! So fast, helpful, and kind! Isaiah was especially communicative and I really appreciated that! Tiffany even helped me with my rental service! Also I m not sure if it was anything they did, or just coincidence but my reverse camera that hasn t worked in 6 months has started working again!! 10/10, will definitely be coming back god forbid I need anymore work done!Services: Painting, General repairs & maintenance

**Avoid this place at all costs**My insurance had me take my car here last summer after my car was damaged to the point of being undriveable (attempted theft, so was already a stressful situation); Gerber screwed me over. 3 months in their hands, with them doing nothing, before we finally were able to move the car to an actual repair shop, who then fixed it in 2 days. Gerber claimed to not have the part they needed, kept claiming it was backordered; they'd ordered and charged us for a completely unnecessary part, instead, which i still can't believe. What they did was criminal and made for a very unnecessarily stressful 3 months. Happy to recommend the shop that actually fixed it (they were also appalled at Gerber- who, when moving the car, btw, "lost" my keys...until they somehow "found" them later on to give to the other shop). What they did is unexcusable & I hope others stay far away.

Ugh. I was on a three way call with my insurance company and heard my agent get an appointment for me here this morning. I just got here and they won t see me and said there s no appointment for an estimate until October, despite the fact they agreed to one today already.

I must say that this group has been absolutely amazing! Jenny is wonderful, Tiffany is as well and Martin is pretty cool too!They made sure that I was updated regularly about my car and any issues they ran into! I went to this place on the 2nd or 3rd of February. A guy took my info and took pictures of my vehicle. He said he'd call when the parts were in. Fast forward to the first week in March and I hadn't heard anything. I call them up and am told no parts had been ordered. I now have to wait until May to get my vehicle fixed. I have a 09:00 appointment. I get there and the woman at the desk tells me that my appointment is at 10:30 because that's what's in the computer. I get my vehicle about a week later. Where it was hit looks good. However they broke a part on my roof rack and I was told they would contact me when the part came in. It's been over two weeks and still nothing So the customer service (imo) really sucks and the repair job good but not great. Would I recommend the place? Not at all.

I brought my Jeep here as a recommended service for an insurance claim. They assured me, that even though they didn t preform the work I needed they could send me to a accredited shop. Per their recommendation I agreed. Initially I was told three (3)days. Fast forward day 30 after receiving emails every day or so assuring me it s only one (1) more day. I decided to pull it and have the dealership work on it. Just received a call from the dealership. Because the all of the non needed work that their mechanic did. It s going to take the dealership 2 more weeks. Also that the part was a 6 inch interchangeable piece is all I needed. So. Unless you want extra work done that is non needed. Find another place to take your vehicle. They speak a good game and are very polite. If only they were honest!

This shop went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. I use my car frequently for business and I was concerned about being out 3 days without a car. They called in 2 days later saying that the car was done, which was awesome! I got phone calls and quick response time to any questions I had. Mike was super friendly and helpful throughout the process as well as the lady at the front desk! I will recommend this place to my friends/family in the future!

Very unprofessional establishmentManagement is very difficult to work management will go as far as leaving your keys on the tire of the car when you try to explain to them that you weren't satisfied with the work!Save your money go somewhere else I'm surprised it's establishment is still open..

I recommend them to everyone who needs auto care!! Jen, was most helpful with EXCELLENT people skills, she even went to look for something I'd lost in my car . Brian was professional and made the transition from my car to my home so easy. He also keep me appraised of the process during my car repairs. Terrible body shop recommended by insurance company. Accident happened in October. Took them a month to schedule initial estimate, initial estimate performed in less than 10 minutes. Quoted me $2000.00 for headlight and windshield. Took them until January to start repair work, repair work took over 20 days for a headlight, did not repair windshield from initial estimate. Terrible communication, have to explain everything to a customer service representative anytime you call them and call not always transferred to correct location or someone knowledgeable with your claim. Charged additional money when car "repaired" looks exactly the same with a new headlight and same cracked windshield. Worst experience ever with a body shop. Two people I know were involved in worse accidents after me and had their vehicles repaired before me.

These guys are awesome, I live in Capitol Hill but I still make the drive out to Lakewood because the service is worth it. They make sure my car is nice and cleaned up so that I can see it's all fixed, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The lady who did my estimate was very personable and friendly, as well. I've come here three times now for vehicle repairs, and I will continue to do so.

I have worked with Gerber collision twice in the last month due to unfortunate vehicle theft attempts on my car recently. The first time they provided me with updates on service and did a great job, the second time they helped me out quickly and did a phenomenal job with no hassle and with care for me as a returning customer 5 out of 5 recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Just got my car back today after having it taken to Gerber for repairs that happened after my car was stolen. While there were some frustrations and delays and multiple estimated completion dates, I am very pleased with the service there. Mike was the one we dealt with through the entire process and he was great. Kept us updated whenever we called for updates and took it upon himself to do what he could to push the process along and make things right with my husband and I after multiple delays. We will definitely go back to this Gerber location for any future work that may need to be don. This was actually the second time my car has been to Gerber since September.

Great customer service so far. Will update when work is done in 3 weeks. Worked with me on estimate in parking lot and masked. Am 72 years old and at risk, which they treat seriously. More than I can say for Ramsey Collision, who asked me to wait in office for estimate, with NO ONE Masked. Guess who got my business?

I was referred to them through my insurance carrier and although it took a while to get the truck in to them I believe they did a good job .The only issue I had was with some trim work that was not right, so I visited with the manager ( I believe his name was Damon ) told him what the issue was and he agreed to fix issue at no cost... just had to wait for the part to come in (1 week ) The repairs and paint work look good and so I have no issues to report . The only thing I see reading reviews is why would you take someone's car out of state to be repaired seems to be a little odd to me ,but I'm not an car repair guy . Anyway all and all I was happy with the repairs done to date .The staff was friendly ,answered any questions I had , considering it was hail season the repairs were completed close to the estimated date of completeation

I had the worst experience at Gerber collision. I will never suggest anyone go to this location. My repair to my car was initially quoted for a week and a half. It was about a month before I got my vehicle. Which I would have been fine with if that was what it was in the first place. I was told four different times my car was going to be done and the last time was the worst they told my insurance company it would be done and I could turn in my rental car guess what It wasn t! leaving me with out a car for four days. The shop told me that they would get me a rental car if I could get across town in 30 mins in Friday rush hour traffic.

the staff at this location was AMAZING!!!!! They went above and beyond to help me out with the nightmare of my stolen jeep. It got transported to Gerber Collision in Lakewood, and Kim kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. Once the jeep arrived at the shop staff went out of their way to help me clean it out. (so gross!) All staff was very knowledgeable with the insurance process and were able to answer any questions I had. Although my jeep ended up totaled, if myself or any of my friends need work done in the future, Gerber Collision definitely has my business!! I highly recommend!

Extremely frustrating experience overall with Gerber. Back in January I got in an accident and it took close to 7 weeks to get my car back. Gerber gave me false time estimates again and again and was very difficult to communicate with. I was blatantly lied to multiple times by Brandon about when the car would be ready and what the status was.When the car was finally ready they called me and told me that my check engine light was on but that it wasn t related to the accident and that they wouldn t do anything. I picked the car up only to find that not all accident damage was fixed either. There was still broken plastic underbody panels, a damaged door lock rod, a damaged front door speaker, and paint work imperfections. I then took my car to the shop to get the engine issues taken care of, which cost me $7000 and supposedly had nothing to do with the accident.Be careful taking your car to Gerber, they are not very put together or organized. Not a company I would ever trust to touch my car again and not somewhere I would recommend.

The services have been incredibly expedient considering the current trials of acquiring the right parts for a proper repair. What was originally an estimate 4-8 week job, was hastened to a mere 3 over the course of the work flow.Definitely reliable in a pinch.

First let me say that I hit a deer, hard! My damage was just under 14k when all was said and done! I thought my new car was going to total but the insurance decided it was worth too much and should be repaired. I was skeptical about having such extensive damage repaired at all and was a little uneasy about it but Dane, the General Manager, let me know that all parts would be test fitted and that if any aftermarket parts were not fit for use, He would not allow them to be used and that I would have a lifetime warranty on the repairs. His explanation of the process and His impeccable customer service gave me all the faith in the world that these repairs were going to be done safely and properly. He also gave me daily updates, (even though I'm sure He is busy as the Manager) and took on the handling of my repair plan, personally. The repairs were extensive and of course parts were special order, only because my car is so new, but just as He had promised, He was able to give me a firm completion date after all of the parts had arrived and were checked for quality and fit. Fast forward 6 weeks to my car being finished... I was unable to get off work to pick my car up during normal hours, and Dane actually offered to make a home delivery with my car! The car was shiny, clean, the alignment was done, turbos were working properly and I was floored by the level of service I received from Dane! I'd also like to thank Davin, the technician who repaired my car! Thanks to the expertise and high standards of Dane and Davin, I am confident my repairs did put my car back to "pre-accident condition". In fact my car looks better than it did pre-accident! Terrible service! It took them 6 weeks to complete the repairs needed on my car, and after the original estimated completion date of 2 weeks, I called and was told they hadn't even started on my car. For the next month, I received ZERO communication on the progress or new estimated completion time and had to call repeatedly. Every time I called, the person I spoke with would apologize for the delay and lack of communication, then tell me that they would personally call me with updates - I still did not receive updates and had to continue to call them. I used this company a few years ago on another car, but I will never go to them again.

I dropped off my vehicle for hail damage repair on November 9th (after making the appointment on July 5th). At first, the customer service was above and beyond. Thus the only reason they are getting two stars. They originally told me my vehicle would be ready on December 8th. My roof was delayed/backordered, which took some time and thus the delayed the December 8th deadline. I'm not sure why the roof wasn't ordered ahead of time but that is neither here nor there at this point. When my roof finally did come in, they painted my new parts a different shade of white than the original paint job. This delayed my expected delivery date again. I was finally told it was ready for pickup on December 28th. I went to pick it up on December 29th only to be told it would be another hour. I waited. I finally received my keys and went out to my vehicle and had a scratched dashboard (like an eagle landed on it and scratched it with its talons) and I had two indicator lights going off AND my keyless entry wouldn't work. I returned the vehicle. They ordered a new dash and fixed the indicator lights. However, all communication on their end stopped when I returned the vehicle. I had to follow up with them each time. I should have been receiving updates on a continual basis. Even after I asked the receptionist to please text me with updates, I still did not get them. When I finally picked up my car on January 20th, my low tire pressure indicator light came on with a very low tire. How do these people not see the indicator lights going off when they are driving the vehicle up front to park after being in the shop? It makes no sense to me! I handled my tire on my own after driving it off the lot. I didn't want to deal with them another moment. Needless to say, my tire still keeps going flat after adding more air. Something is clearly wrong with the tire that I did not cause since I didn't have the vehicle in my possession for almost three months. I'm dismayed at the service, to say the least. I do not recommend this place.

Although the ladies at the desk were real nice & helpful the rest of the shop seem to have no communication with each other. Since, I was told multiple different incorrect things about the progress of my car. I can't comment on the quality of their work due to my car getting totaled out in the end.

I took my vehicle to Gerber in Lakewood and the recommendation of my insurance agent. He stated they were a recommended body shop by my insurance company. I figured I would give them my business. I cannot get them to return calls or emails. I had to send multiple emails to get a response. After finally getting a response from Jose he informed me that my insurance company rejected the estimate. I've asked Jose to tell me if there is something I can do to expedite this process. No response. I am going to take my business somewhere else that wants my business. I hate bashing businesses but the customer service isnt very great at this particular shop. Sorry Gerber but I have to pass on doing business with you.
