Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My car was taken here after I was in an accident per my insurance. At the time I was in shock and was not functioning properly to do further investigation of this establishment, one I read the reviews I called my insurance company to remove my car and have a tow truck pick the car up. Based off of their reviews and calling the office with no one picking up the phone I did not trust this place do to a decent fix on my car. My insurance company organized the transfer of my car to a different facility when my car reached the facility it was documented good ole bad practices Jim took a knife and cut the wires of my headlights and left them on the front seat of my car ultimately causing another costly repair. Additionally there was a 4K difference on the estimate and multiple mistakes/ items missed at Jim s than at the final place I took my car. Do yourself a favor do some due diligence before dropping your car off, nothing but a bunch of crooks who work here.

Car enthusiasts beware. This shop is not for you. The name of the shop is a little misleading because I highly reccomend never taking anything with an "Exotic body" here. I will try and keep it short and sweet and spare you from reading paragraphs.I have proof that this shop lied to me on multiple occasions about parts orders, estimated completion times (off by months, not weeks), and paint work issues. The front desk is either extremely disconnected from what's actually going on or just lies about things on purpose.The Paint:The owner hid things about a bumper I supplied to him from me just so he could cash the check for paint and have me go through the headache of attemptting to fix it afterwards (it's much harder to fix fiberglass after it's been painted). He directly told me he knew the bumper did not fit but opted to hide that information from me and painted it anyway, hardening them and forcing me to not only repair them, but repaint them. I know this because I specifically asked the shop to line up the front fenders and bumper before painting to make sure it all fits. Although they kept prolonging this not telling me that they weren't even able to do it until I picked my car up. The parts I gave them were not cheap, they took my very rare parts from Varis Japan worth over $6,000 and treated them like second class garbage with sub par at best paintwork. I specifically told them after they had already failed to meet deadlines time and time again just to take their time and do it right but they couldn't. The paint was incredibly thin and started chipping from the edges almost immediately aswell as many imperfections just to begin with.Metal Body repair:They used quite a bit of "bondo" on my quarter panel to I assume fix the sub par sheet metal work while simultaneously scuffing and ruining my window molding.The customer service:You might aswell just roll a magic 8 ball on if what they actually say is true or notReally wish I spent the multiple thousand dollars I spent here elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did.Update: the car has barely moved ~10 miles since I picked it up around 6 months ago but the door locks has ALREADY failed on the door they repaired just by sitting there...

I got into an accident in Feb 2023 where someone ran into the front end of my car. My insurance recommended this body shop so naturally I had my car towed there. The body shop promised a completion date on several occasions and never communicated with me that they were going to need the car longer to fix repairs unless I called them myself asking about the status of my car. They had my car for 6 months and every time they got new parts in my car would get pushed to the back of line for being worked on.When I finally got my car back it smelled like something had died inside and they informed me that they had mice all over the facility that like to take shelter in the cars. The inside of my car was covered in mouse poop.Not only was there a mice issue but in addition to this when they said my car was finally ready I picked it up and immediately noticed a loud screeching sound. I immediately turned around to bring my car back and Jim said it they noticed the sound that morning however chalked it up to a timing belt. Upon further inspection they found another piece of the car that had been impacted by the accident that they just completely missed the first time around. Again my car got pushed to the back of line for further repairs.Two weeks later, I went to pick up my car again and 5 miles down the road after picking it up my engine seized up on the highway and I was almost hit by multiple semi's on I-70. I had the car towed back to the body shop and they claimed the cause of the engine being fried was due to an antifreeze leak that they said had been happening for some time.As someone who regularly takes their car in for servicing I knew this could not be true. The body shop would not take responsibility for the damage to the engine so I had to get my car towed to my dealership who was able to prove to my insurance that it was 100% the body shops fault for my engine seizing.After insurance paid him $12,000 in repair costs the car is now deemed a total loss due to a fried engine and a crazy amount of damage to the interior from the mice.This was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a body shop for auto repairs.

Had to get repairs for my vehicle after an accident. Work needed to get completed ASAP since I was moving out of state soon. I let them know and everything was fixed on time.Every conversation over phone and in person was very professional. The building lobby has lots of fun character. Also, I brought in my car VERY muddy and dirty, and it was returned washed and the floor mats were washed as well. Just bring your car here

I am very disappointed in the service I received. I was given a guaranteed completion date, and it wasn't even close to completed near that date. In fact, I was given a second guaranteed completion date and that was not met either. Communication is also not a strong suit with Exotic Bodies by Jim. Additionally, I had asked the shop to complete a side mirror cover replacement in the initial conversation and that still has not been completed. I brought this to the attention of the shop and was told they would find out the status. This was two weeks ago and they still have not returned my call. The shop is poor at answering the phone and as far as I can tell does not listen to their voicemails. For the longest time, their voicemail was full where I had no way of communicating with them. I was given the direct impression that new claims are priority over delivering on promises of existing vehicles they already have in their shop. Unless something improves, I would not recommend Exotic Bodies by Jim to anyone. In fact, I would recommend they find another service shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I am extremely pleased with the service and final repair of my car. Heidi was wonderful to work with and guided me through the process from start to finish. She interfaced with the insurance company in a seamless manner which made it so much easier for me. The final body repair and paint job was excellent! I hit a deer a few years back and these folks did an excellent job. Naturally, I took my truck back the second time around for a lot smaller job and it was a mistake; it looks to be a common trend recently. I had to get my front light fixed and the surrounding panel around it after hitting something on the highway. They estimated 1-2 weeks initially. I understood the delay in parts and anticipated another round of part orders after the strip down, but to tell me multiple times they need parts? After all my parts were in, the paint booth was down. Why didn't the paint job take place before? Just excuse after excuse, promise after promise, that it would be done the end of the week, no call back, oh it will be next week. Same round robin week after week. After I finally got my truck back, the check engine light was on due to them not hooking up a sensor. I took it to Ford to have it fixed, I didn't want to take it back and have it sit there. They were fair in compensating me for the diagnostic fee Ford charged me. The worst part is the truck isn't even fixed, still broken plastic wedged in there, the panel is loose since it's supposed to snap into that broken piece of plastic. I was always patient, respectful and the shop was respectful to me too, but it just got to a point where I needed to stay on them. Again, not having my truck for a couple months was not my biggest issue, I understand the parts situation. I just couldn't take the excuses and the incomplete work. I believe in honesty and completing the job you are paid for, that is it. This shop let me down this time around.

The worst experience I've ever had from an auto body company, they had my vehicle for seven months after an accident. Kept promising and promising and never delivered. Then when they delivered, my vehicle was far from fixed. But they let me drive off the lot telling me to go to my own mechanic . They are such an illegitimate company and should not be recommended for anyting. My vehicle is still completely screwed up after 8,000 dollars instead of totally net and there is no follow-up at all... be aware

Jim and his group of people in the office were a pleasure to talk with while I got my estimate. Due to the hail damage, I was expecting a very long wait to be scheduled for the fix, but they were able to set the appointment months earlier than other places. After talking with them and the amazing dog, I decided that their company should have all my business.

Terrible experience with this shop. Kept my vehicle several months and returned to me incomplete. When I returned vehicle for further repairs I was again disappointed and lied to by the owner Jim. He has no clue about what is happening in his business or claims that he can't find good help..save yourself the headache and go anywhere else!Service: Body & Trim

Do not take your vehicle here. They put 300 miles on my vehicle during a repair. Held my car for two months without any communication as to why. I had to call several times a week just to make sure my car was being worked on. I was told all of the parts were on back order but that was a lie. They held my car for an antenna repair for three weeks but returned my car with a bad battery. Paid 1600 and am still not able to drive my car. Called to speak to the owner and was hung up on, by the owner. TRASH!

Heidi and Travis are the best. Car was broken into, and I needed repairs from the damage. Parts were ordered and delivered within a week, and repairs were done with excellence. Exotic Bodies even washed my car. The price was within reason. I highly recommend Exotic Bodies. Customer service was great.

My spouse and I experienced a car accident in November 2022. Exotic Bodies was a recommended shop by our insurance and we set up our car with them right after the accident occured.It has been around 4 and 1/2 months since then and our car seems no closer to being fixed. The shop has failed to provide updates, forcing us to call them every few weeks.Every time we have called the shop to check on the status, some new issue has come up. A new part is needed, a mechanic left, they didn't notice damage in a certain section etc. They have been saying "just one more week" for the past 2 months.Save yourself months of driving a rental and go somewhere else.

Would not rate exotic bodies by jim with 4 stars. My experience with them was not a good one, they had my car for over 3 months and did nothing with it. Then when I finally did get it back my batterie was dead and extra miles were put on my car, he was very rude and called me a b**** when i called the owner out on their poor work and to think this place was who so many referred me to. This place was a joke .

ZERO STARS!!! BAD SERVICE!!! RUDE OWNERES!!! My insurance company recommended this body shop and boy do I regret using them! The repair time on my car was originally 45 days and 60 days later my car was ready all because they ordered the wrong part. Someone else also complained about the same thing in the review below about them ordering wrong parts! Getting updates from them was nightmare, sometimes I would get the wrong updates. The owners are rude! When talking to the owner on the phone he told me he had cars on his lot that had been there for 6 months and was proud of it, when I asked him about the lost parts he told me that if I knew so much that I should go and run his business. When I asked what I was supposed to do without my car he told me to ride RTD!Service: Body & Trim

I was hit by another driver and I had a difficult time getting into any other body shop, I was quoted at least a month out BUT Heidi and her phenomenal team were able to get me in and get my car fixed in less than 2 weeks. Which is outstanding because parts and service are on back order all over the country. I had a difficult time with the insurance company due to their customer disputing but my experience with Heidi and her team was nothing short of exceptional. She is the owner and she made a point to call me with every update and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process! I honestly can t speak enough good about their exceptional customer service! I had my Nissan repaired here after a student backed into my car at school. They were competitively priced and got my car fixed on schedule. Their estimate was dead on and there were no hidden expenses later. My car looks great they even buffed out a little scrape I had near the broken bumper from another time I scraped against my garage door. They are nice to work with. Update... I picked up my car this past Saturday from Jim. Let me tell you, I am in love with the car again! I have never had a car redone, my expectations were high. Jim & the techs went well above those expectations! I have never been so happy over a car. Yes, it took a while to complete, but the wait was well worth it. They tore the car apart, fixed all the dents, prepped, primed, painted & put her all back together. Jim & the guys were so nice with us. They let us take pictures of the progress & always took the time to talk with us. If you want a car redone, Jim is your guy! I won't go anywhere else! Thank you so much Jim! I truly appreciate the work you all did & the awesome atmosphere you all have there! I'm so happy with the work that was done!

Jim has a superb operation. After describing my car's paint issue, Jim helped me with suggestions and advice on the best repair that would be commensurate with the value of my car. He gave me a very competitive quote, and his staff was incredibly polite and helpful throughout the entire process. They finished the work on my vehicle earlier than they estimated initially, and the product was perfect. From start to finish, my experience was exactly what I hoped for in rectifying my car's paint problem. Should I need any auto body repairs or services in the future, I will be returning to Jim.

The customer service, quality of work and kindness of everyone that works at Exotic Bodies was unparalleled. The staff went out of their way to help me with my initial repair after my accident and then for a minor fix a few days after I picked up my vehicle. I felt prioritized, informed and well taken care of, each step of the way. As a female, who doesn't know a thing about cars, I was extremely nervous about selecting an auto shop for repairs. I've heard horror stories of others that have been taken advantage of and I was afraid that might happen to me. This was absolutely NOT the case. Everything was explained to me throughout the entire process, with no judgment. The staff leads with empathy and that is rare to find these days. I hope I am never in another accident however, if I am, I will definitely be going back to Exotic Bodies. Thank you, Jim and Hillary. Long story cut short .....my car was towed around for two months trying to get into a shop. Finally Exotic Bodies by Jim took my car in. Finally got to pick it up and wow! If I check myself in will I look as good They are a hoot there! Almost thought it was margaritas time! Had a blast with them and will definitely be back! Stop looking and TAKE your vehicle here!!!! Jim is great. He truly cares about people and it shows. Along with his incredible employees (always very pleasant in person and on the phone), he made my car repair process headache free!! When I picked up my car today and it looked newer than when I drove it off the lot years ago!!! I had my rear bumper replaced, yet the entire car was spotless, inside and out. It is so refreshing to find people who work hard and care about the details. They restored my faith in good people doing good things the right way!!

Doing business with Exotic Bodies by Jim was like stepping back into the 60's. And I'm not only talking about their office decor, but their customer service. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The work they did on my 4-Runner was outstanding. I would recommend this body shop to anybody. First off, I want to thank the team at Exotic Bodies. From the woman at the front desk, to the owner, they were great all around. The woman at the desk was nice, professional, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. She made me feel comfortable. The team there helped me set up a rental car and handled everything through the insurance company that was responsible for fixing my car. I literally just had to drop my car off, they worked on it, and then I picked it up. It was hassle free and they made the whole process go smoothly. As for the work, my car looks awesome. I had gotten side swiped and the driver's side door had to be worked on. They replaced the shell of the door and painted it. My car looks just like it did the day I bought it. The paint matched perfectly and the work looked flawless. Thank you guys. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will recommend your service. Thank you so much. Five stars!
