Been coming here for years. Came in today with an $1,100 repair that another shop had recommended and got a call from them asking about why I had requested the repair. They let me know that part of the car was working fine, but found another smaller issue that I knew to be true (but didn't realize was an issue, part of my bungling trying to work on my own vehicles) that they fixed. The result was less income for their shop but a continued loyal customer.Irma's review below sounds like nonsense - an unexpected issue came up and they called you to let you know? Sounds like not their fault and a pretty professional approach to me.

I live in Grand Junction and was in the market for a 4Runner. There's not much over here, so when I found one to have checked out, I went to Facebook to ask for any repair shops in the Denver area ro look at it. A friend recommended Alba's Auto and my experience was excellent! Janice was able to schedule me in the next day and gave me an honest rundown of what they found in the inspection. Even the friend who brought the 4Runner down told me that he was going to use them next time! Great experience and I now have a shop in Denver I know I can trust!

If I can give no star for this business I would.Terrible experience for a first time customer Left my car at the shop at 8 am, later -1 pm- I was told they couldn t find a part for another car, so I had to reschedule!!!An entire day wasted over poor communication and professionalism.I would never recommend this place !! Bad customer service too!!!

Fantastic service! Reasonably priced, plus they explain everything they are doing and why. They also give you a heads up about potential future problems without trying to up sale you into doing a whole bunch of work "right now" type of thing. Great family business - 10/10

Alba auto is a family business. Call up and get your car looked at with in a reasonable time frame. Very honest quotes and tips tricks. Quick turn around time. This shop is a good shop. The main mechanic there was very honest and patient with me and my car. And he offered to help me anytime since I decided to do the work myself. But I do work on multiple cars and have several friends who are mechanics. This shop claims labor hours and parts are more time and money then they actually are. I definitely have went to places more fair. I was quoted 1200 for set of brakes and intake manifold gasket then shortly after my intake manifold plenum was damaged they tried to quote me $500+ more. It sits at the top of the engine very easily accessible plus that part does not cost that much so why? It took about 30 mins to change myself. Also was quoted for struts which was another $1000+ I'm not out to badmouth the shop they seem like nice people but there are not that honest and fair in my opinion there is definitely better prices for the same type of work. I will not be going back there.

Very honest and thorough. This place can be trusted for sure. I will drive across town and wait for weeks to get in. I've never had a bad experience here. Unlike other mechanic shops. I highly recommend Albas

The owner of the auto shop is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and works with you to help you get back on the road. I have been going to him for years with various cars. As a master mechanic, he will tell you when your vehicle does not need servicing, so you aren't taken advantage of. Oh, and his rates are reasonable!- "A loyal client." -

I recently had some work done at Alba's Auto Repair, Janice and Ricardo went ABOVE & BEYOND to help me! Extraordinarily nice people! They really helped me with my car. They have fantastic deals if you need to get your oil changed too. I would recommend them to anyone including family members. They are family owned and operated not just a big giant shop or chain where you are a number. Their service Is unbelievable. It's nice to have someone I trust 100% to do work on my car! Try them one time and you'll never go back to a chain or dealer repair shop again. +Thank you guys for the great work & help!Justin Kirkland

I'm very grateful to have found Alba's auto. I don't know what the negative reviews are about, but I've never had a bad experience with them. They're not the fastest and don't claim to be, but their work is solid. They're also super nice and have always treated me very well in the year and a half or so that I've been going to them.A while back, I thought I needed new shocks and struts on my car. Everywhere I went, they quoted my over a thousand dollars for the job, I took it to Alba's and their quote was just of $700. So, I left my car. I got a call later on that day saying that they thoroughly looked it over, had it up in the air, and had two guys looking at it. They said my shocks were fine and I just needed the sway bar links replaced...a $150 job. My car runs smoother than it has in a long time.I was just in today with another problem, because my car is old and falling apart, and I had an electrical problem along with a shifting problem. The shifting problem turned out to be an issue with a safety feature which he told me is about a $400 fix, but offered to just disable it for $40. The electrical problem turned out to be an easy fix as well and they only charged me the $40 for my visit today.These are very good and honest people who know what they're doing. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic who does just about everything.

It is a rarity these days to see a shop that has a foundation of honesty, great customer service, and artisan level expertise. I stopped in for a pre-purchase check and, the technician got to the truck right away. This great shop likely saved me hundreds/thousands on repairs on a vehicle that was likely touched up by the dealership to get it off the lot.I can say in good faith that this is a great shop.Thanks again.

They helped me fix a tire with a big nail in it for free and fixed up my red truck at a great price. If you are looking for people you can trust, this is the shop to go to. Awesome experience and work expertise. I ll definetly being using them again!

I took my car in because the brake was seizing up to get told that there is nothing physically wrong with my brakes and that I need to replace the ABS sensor which would run me approximately 700 bucks. I was able to get into my preferred mechanic who is getting me the same part used for a little over a hundred bucks. My car is 10 years old and doesn't need a brand new sensor in it. I'm getting new pads, a sensor, brake fluid, and CV Axles for around the same price.I don't know how good of work they conduct at this place of business but you can certainly find a better price somewhere else.

I thought I was going to pay around $70 to recharge my A/C at shop in Aurora then that shop told me I needed a condenser for $650 I said I couldn't afford that right now so they still charged me $70 for fixing nothing. Then I ordered the part from Amazon for $100 and Alba's installed and recharged my A/C for $350. Great deal saved me $200 and done in 1 day. I'll refer friends and family here for sure. Thank You!!!

I would give them ten stars if I could! This shop has saved me more than once. The front desk ladies are extremely nice and sympathetic. The mechanics always explain to me what they did and answer all my questions. I just love this family owned business.

I LOVE ALBA'S AUTO! They are the first place I take my cars for any repairs or maintenance. The family is so nice and accommodating to whatever my cars require. They can do just about anything for my cars, which are different brands/specs. I love them, I will always use them and recommend them to my friends and family members!

I can not speak highly enough of Alba's Auto. I have been a faithful customer for years, and they are by far the most intelligent, friendly, upfront, reliable car service I have ever had the pleasure of going to. We have taken all of our cars over the years with all sorts of unique issues, from ruined brakes and serious engine issues to electrical mishaps, vacuum tubes blowing up to that unfortunate when I dropped my screwdrivers in the engine block - and they really bend over backwards to help you out.
