Excellent service. These guys had my tires mounted very quickly without an appointment. They even helped to discover I had 2 tires unexpectedly laying around due to a shipping error, showing a high level of integrity. 5 stars.

I live in Colorado. Was visiting in Hays. The staff at Walmart in Hays are always wonderful. The store is clean. I am not attacked at the front door to "show my receipt " like I am in Colorado! Thank you automotive department for my new tires. I felt safe coming home.

Beware. Do not let them work on your car. 2020 Jeep Cherokee with 37,000, mi. They left off covers underneath, bolts out and over torqued the oil pan bolt. We brought it back to them for a second oil change and they strip the oil pan bolt. You will either have to fix it yourself like I did or take it to the dealership. It's not worth the time to deal with Walmart and a cheap oil change that wasn't even quick.

Found a Nail in the tire at 6pm the night before a road trip with my wife. Most shops were closed. I thought I was out if luck. Nope. I was in at 6:30 out at 7:00 with a patched tire. Friendly staff and good price.

The employee working here is so disrespectful. Working as a looser. There was no car waiting asking me to wait until 12. I was there 9:30

Terrible experience. There is no customer service available and when they finally got to my car to repair a flat the broke off one of my door Handles. The manager said they would reimburse me to have it fixed and yet I have not been able to get ahold of them since.

There was no one waiting ahead of me and told I m up next but still it took almost 3 hours to change my tires and oil. If it weren t for the polite and helpful girl up front I would have given 1 star. Kind of a Spanish accent. She left at around 4pm on June 5th. Give her a raise. She s a rockstar. The mechanic team needs to speed up or get more staffing. I watched several people come after me and leave before me. Bogus work but cheap I guess.

I bought tires here a while back, got the Warrantee for 10 extra dollars. Well worth it, it seemed like they were not holding air like they should be. Brought them in, they checked them out, replaced one and fixed the other 3. Nice!

A wonderful team that went above and beyond. I came to the Auto Center to get new tires put on my 1995 VW Camper, but had an issue with one of the wheels rubbing against the sidewall. This was an issue I had previously experienced, so didn t think there was a solve. The whole team worked together to figure out a solution, and ended up fixing the sidewalk so the wheels would turn smoothly. Thank you Jose, Ralph, Robert, and Danielle!

I'm not sure what is going on at this location, but I've went here on two separate occasions when they open, and there was no one working in the Auto center. If I need an oil change, or tire service, I now look elsewhere.

I showed up over the weekend, one woman came out to talk to me after sat in our car for about 10 minutes before getting out. When she approached us she asked how she could help, I needed an oil change. She told me on weekends I need an appointment and she was booked for the day. (One car in a closed bay, I assume was an employees, one car in the bay I pulled up behind) I come back a few days later, still needed an oil change. Waited 5 minutes before going in where I waited another 5-10 minutes. Eventually a worker came up (from his break) and immediately started helping. It was another hour wait before I could be serviced because they were short staffed. He did inform me that there was no way to make an appointment because they don't operate that way. Walmart, I assume a manager was working on the weekend I went in and I'm disappointed I was lied to instead of being simply explained to that they were short staffed and she had no idea when she would be able to get to me if she was the only one in there. Now I see why Walmart supercenters with an actual automotive section are a dying breed. Too bad. Thanks to the employee who jumped right back into work and didn't lie to his customers! I hope your store recognizes those of you who actually give a s***

Had a bad experience. So went in to get my son tires replaced. Had to make an appointment which no problem. When my son showed up there was a very rude technician who stated that he already pulled in a car for that appointment time. So needless to say went to discount tire and was taken care of.

It's cold in Walmart. Which is perfect for everyone wearing jackets in the winter.

They decided to close two hours early probably because they just wanted to go home. They told me that they were short-staffed and had to close. Surely the staff member telling me they had no staff available could have changed my oil. Overall, Walmart has great prices and usually great service.

Nearly impossible to get an oil change here. Today there was 1 car in the shop and 3 guys changing one tire. Tried to get an oil change and they said I would have to wait an hour and a half before they could even start on the service. There was 3 guys and 1 car but they can't do more than one car at a time...

I am very happy with this Tire and Lube shop at the Lafayette Walmart. They have helped me out not once but twice. I have a newer car with the new paper oil filter system. My ex rounded off my old oil filter housing cap and this place has done miracles in which I could not explain. I normally do my own oil changes and when I went to do it. I found an ugly surprise, I couldn't get my oil filter out. My ex used the wrong tool and completely messed up the housing. Out of an emergency situation I took my car here gave them the oil and paper filter I had and said have it at it. They are very friendly and easy to talk to and understood the situation I was in. Told me to get the replacement bring it back in for my next oil change and they will put the replacement on for me. Today I went and did just that. It took them about an hour and half to two hours total with two cars ahead of me, but I also have an extreme case because the housing cap was rounded which means it's a pain to get off. But they got it off got the replacement back on and I can start doing my own oil changes again. If I ever come across a situation where I need to their help again I will not hesitate. All of these 1 stars can kiss my bum. For a low cost these guys are fast, friendly, and understanding. Everything you want out of a quick service shop.

I was told it would take 30 or 40 minutes to do a simple flat repair, at the most an hour, an hour and a half later they told me it had only been 45 minutes (because they didn't start their clock until they actually started on my car, I believe) and they still had work to do, they didn't even think to reach out to me to see if I could wait while they did the additional work, which I couldn't. But at that point the tires were off and the hood was up and there wasn't much I could do about it. If they hadn't had a monopoly because of so few stores being open on a Sunday, I wouldn't have come to begin with, and next time I will chance driving on the low tire rather than go to a Walmart.

In Colorado, when winter hits, its best to have your vehicle prepared with some type of tire that is capable of performing on ice and snow. otherwise you'll be spinning out or getting stuck. As my tires were getting to the point of replacement anyway, I decided to check around for the best tire prices. I first went to a huge chain store that has the word "discount" in their name. But they were a joke, they wanted over $1000 for a simple set of basic tires, the only thing discount was their terrible and rude service. I then continued my search and after a long day ended up here. Not only were the employees friendly and accommodating with all of my questions but the price was half that of the other store. I brought my vehicle in and the clerk at the desk was friendly and very up front about everything, explaining the whole process and detailing what everything would cost and how long the process would take. She said because there were a few people ahead of me it might take 2 hours, but I was ok with that since she said she'd call me when it was done and I could go out and grab lunch somewhere. Before I knew it she called and said I can come pick it up. Afterwards I drove home confident that I would be able to tackle old man winter and that I received great service at a great price.

In a 2 week period I went to get my 2003 for Taurus serviced because of the age of the car. The staff especially Jose, explained everything and went out of his way to help me even after closing time. How can you beat the price and quality of service you get from professionals? You cant! My family is going to keep going there as long as we have cars.

You close at 7pm but tell me you won't take my car at 5pm?? I'm from out of town and have a flat tire so you want me to come in at 7 am tomorrow because your employees are too lazy to change one tire! There are NO cars in your shop and not one person is willing to help 2 hours before you close. Pathetic employees. Pathetic walmart.

Never AvailableNote that the service here is wonderful and the people working there are alays super pleasant. The issue is that every time I go, call, try to schedule ahead, no matter what I do, I get turned away because there is no one scheduled to work. I get that this might be to hiring issues, but the fact remains, I would love to give Walmart my business but I cannot give them my money even when Im trying.Service: Oil change

Ordered tires online, went in to get them put on. After two hours they told me they couldn't complete my tire rotation because my tires were bald. "I know they're bald, that's why you're putting new tires on." "What new tires?" The guy at the desk had entered the wrong service on the computer then didn't talk to anyone else working there. Waited three hours for a 30 minute procedure. There's a reason Walmart is cheap, it's because they aren't professional. At least they gave me a discount.

I'll be honest, I've never gotten my oil changed here. I'm not all together sure they do oil changes being that I've been here 3 if not 4 times and they've never allowed me to drop off my car once. Either they're not taking any more cars that day or the oil drum is full. Get it together or close. This shop is utterly useless.

I waited at the service desk for about 10 minutes before I was able to successfully drop off my key for a routine oil change. The guy told me it would be probably less than an hour, and I reminded him to be sure to reset the oil life gauge. I shopped for groceries while they had the car and returned about an hour and 15 minutes later to pick up my car. I arrived back at the service desk to see they hadn't even gotten to my car yet. I wondered why they hadn't called me to let me know about the delay since they had my number. I continued to sit there and wait another 45 minutes while the frozen food I had just bought thawed. I saw them bring the car out, but no one came to the desk. I pushed the call button, and someone finally came to help me after about 10 minutes. When I got in the car, I saw the oil life gauge had not been reset (which I had reminded them specifically about at drop off). I called one of the service guys over who fiddled with it for a few minutes and gave up. Another guy came out about five minutes later and after trying for a few minutes, he told me it couldn't be done. I assured him that they had been able to reset it in the past, and he said he would send someone out. We waited another 10 minutes and NO ONE came. Finally, frustrated beyond belief, I decided to leave after the terrible customer service and the now ruined groceries (2 and a half hours later). I googled how to reset the gauge myself, and lo and behold, I reset it in about 1 minute! I went for the convenience of being able to get some errands done while waiting on my car, but due to their incompetence and horrendous customer service, I will never return.

waited long enough but no one came out to open the door so I walked out through the shop . my service dog was ready to leave . I noticed all the employees were standing around doing nothin to when I walked through the shop but they all felt the need to get up and aggressively try to make me walk back through the whole store and around to my truck . I ignored them and left the east way . just a friendly reminder , it s not my fault you all chose to be obese , it s not my fault your alarm clocks went off today , again . Z z You have a job to do , next time hop to it , boy

Do not buy road hazard from this organization, they will not give you any priority when needing your tire repared. I will never purchase from this Wal-Mart Auto Care Center and do not recommend it. I would suggest going to Les Schwab, I went straight over and they fixed my tire immediately 10 minutes.

I have been going to this place for years but after today I will never go back. I went in for a simple oil change and for them to check my tire pressure. After getting in my car when they were done my tire pressure light came on, I was told that sometimes it just takes the sensor time to readjust. Drove home and came out this morning to find my tire completely flat! I called Walmart and told them I have a flat. They told me that I probably ran over something and they couldn't have done anything to give me a flat tire. I argued with them for almost 30 min and they said they couldn't have done anything and it wasn't there fault. After finally getting the spare on I took the flat tire to Discount tires and they checked it and informed me that the tire pressure valve was broken and that is why there is a major leak. So when Walmart was "checking" my tire pressure they were actually breaking the valve! I had to replace the valve and sensor in the tire. Walmart was no help and took no rsponsibility for anything. I will never go back and neither should you!!

I showed up at 8am when the auto center opens on Sundays. I was second in line. Ladies at the desk were friendly and efficient. After the people in front of me checked in for an oil change, I was given a 45 minute wait time at 8:10a, so with an oil change and tire rotation, I was to be out the door by 9. I did my shopping and came back at 9:20. Car wasn t done, and the now less than friendly desk agent (not the same as earlier) tells me she will get an ETA. She goes out and comes back in to say it s still in the bay, which is what I told her. I asked again for ETA. She went back out. Now it s 9:25, and the new ETA is 30 minutes. Mind you, I have to be somewhere and have frozen groceries now. I told her to scrap the tire rotation and get it out of there. Now she says 15 minutes wait just to finish the oil. It s 9:30. Why was my car not TOUCHED until AFTER the initial ETA I was given?! It s Walmart, so I had adjusted expectations, but this is ridiculous. I ll pay more elsewhere next time.
