We ve been using Stan s for a long time. I have a 2011 Toyota Highlander; I have put 152,000 miles on it. Today we had some necessary suspension work done. It cost significantly less than I expected, they gave me a loaner at no cost and kept me updated on progress throughout the day. Terrific customer service makes me a raving fan. They re great, they re local and it is a family business. Please check them out.

My family has been going to Stans for over 20 years. Every time we go the work is great and whenever there is an issue with the car they explain in detail what is going on. They are the most trustworthy shop I have ever worked with.

Stan's Auto help me get my car going. Took care of a lot of things that needed to be done. They kept in touch with me the whole time they were working on the car to make sure that if something needed to fix it I wanted it to be done. The car runs awesome. I'm sure the year of the car that I have will somehow bring me back to them to help me keep it running for a while. Thank you so much! Stan's Auto you have a loyal customer.

Stan's Automotive always does a great job. My brother recommended it to me initially and I've been taking my car there for years. They're always courteous, professional, knowledgeable, they do what's necessary & give you options, if possible, & pricing before any work is begun. And they don't take a advantage of the fact that I'm a single female who doesn't know a lot about the mechanics of a car. Plus, I needed a ride to/from this time and they were able to accommodate that as well. Highly recommend them!

Always a good experience with Stan's. I appreciate their text/email systems and updates with visuals - it makes it incredibly easy to approve/deny repairs while I'm at work. I've also never found them to "push" anything and only "yellow/red" flags for real additional issues and leaving suggested updates & repairs as just that.

First time using Stan s and had an excellent experience. Replaced an axle and end-links, also performed an alignment. My technician (Nick B) did an outstanding job and was professional. Would recommend.

I took my maintenance-neglected vehicle to Stan's, and they gave my rig a thorough assessment. They provided me with a detailed report with recommendations in order of urgency. They accommodated my schedule and needs, and waived some costs.Excellent customer service and honesty.

Stan's is inconsistent. I've had good work done by them, and not so good. They installed a ball-joint a couple of years ago that recently went bad two months exactly past the 2-year warranty date. Ball joints should last at least 8-10 years for town driving, which is all I do with this car. They told me it was probably a bad part. Did they offer to give me a partial refund since it was so close to the warranty cut-off date? No, they did not. I also had them change the oil a couple of months ago and they didn't get the oil filter tight enough, so my car leaked oil all over my driveway. I won't use them again.

Stan's has always treated me right and this time was no different. I needed to have a car checked out that I wanted to purchase for my mother. I arranged Stan's to check it out while I was out-of-state. They squeezed it in quickly and gave to an accurate report of what the issues were so I could feel at ease buying the car site unseen. We are long time customers of Stans. It is amazingly rare to have a mechanic that you know you can trust. They've always dealt with us honestly and fairly every time we've been in and we just love working with them.

If you re done servicing your own cars (honestly, I couldn t even figure out how to get the plastic dust cover off of the top of my Jetta s engine. And I was fairly confident my wires and distributor cap Rx was amiss since nothing has had a spark distributor in what? 20 years? 30? Please DON T ANSWER THAT QUESTION.) and live in east Boulder County (CO), seriously consider Stan s. Unlike the Grease Monkey s of the world, Stan s actually fixes stuff. They approach repairs from a logical, evidence-based perspective. (And they ve kept current on the tech and know how to get that weird plastic cover off your engine.)

I drive a 1999 Toyota Sienna, named Kevin, with 265k miles (115k of them are mine over the last 12 years), and I'm hopeful that we'll make it to 300k. Stan's makes me believe that's a possibility!I live in Durango and try to get an annual Inspection around the holidays when I'm visiting the Front Range. With a week or so notice, I almost always get an appointment. Whenever I have to leave the van for a few days they are kindly concerned if I need a ride or if the scheduling works for me, and I can tell they make an effort to get work done in a timely manner. Prices seem fair, I have called with minor issues from Durango and they've advised me on possible considerations based on work done or due. Stan's customer service goes above and beyond on every level, my only complaint is that they don't have plans to open a shop in SW CO.

We had a great experience working with the Stan's Auto Repair crew. Had a vehicle that was pulling to the right at high speeds so needed their expertise. After an alignment, tire balance and rotation it drives like new. Got an oil change too. Will be bringing my car back for brakes soon.

Best shop in town! I wouldn t trust my cars anywhere else. Chad is a pleasure to work with and is honest and trustworthy. He helps with prioritizing any repairs to work within my budget and is communicative through the process. He was kind enough to order me a Lyft when I was was struggling to find a ride back to the shop to pick up my car.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Stan's is a legend in the Lafayette/Louisville area. I prefer to work on my own cars motorcycles but whenever I take a car to Stan's I am always impressed by their attention to detail and thorough approach to their work.

I ve been to Stan s twice now for car repairs and have had only great experiences with them. At no point did they try to take advantage of the fact that I m a young woman who doesn t know cars or try to bully me into services (this cannot be said about every shop in town, looking at you Centennial Automotive). They quoted me fair prices and followed up to make sure everything was working. They clearly pride themselves on customer satisfaction, as they should. Very happy to have found them, will be telling my friends.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning

The very top level of service. You know when you call an old friend, and the conversation is never rushed, just personable and friendly? Well, that was it was the first time I spoke with the owner. Friendly, honest, looking out for my best interest, really cared. Like going into my own general store, and being greeted by the storekeeper, who asked about me and my family first, before getting down to business. Makes you feel valued, an all too rare thing to find in today's world.When I'm visiting a shop, I always ask myself, would I send my dear wife here, would they treat her kindly, and take good care of her, and her car? No doubt on Stan's, that's just the way they do business.Here's an example. When I the owner called me personally and we spoke for over 15 minutes. His knowledge and professionalism was impressive and informative. I have a German car but it is not a sports car , yet I feel I get the same level of service as other customers of Stan's Automotive. Highest recommendation to Scott and his team. Plus he likes horses! Just even more bonus points in my book!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Would caution coming to Stan s. I got my car towed here with a dead battery that wouldn t jump, and asked them to look at the cabin air filter as well because I had been told by another mechanic it needed to be changed soon. I was then informed that not only did I need a new battery (which was likely true since mine was almost 5 years old) but I needed about $4k worth of work done on my car. I am fortunate to have friends that I can consult, and chose to just get the battery replaced so I could go get a second opinion on everything else. I went to my former mechanic because he is someone I trust, and he told me there is nothing wrong with my car. Unfortunately this is not my first experience being told I need to spend way more money than is necessary, and would strongly suggest doing your due diligence if you choose to come here.

There's never a good time for car repairs. I was experiencing vibration in the front, passenger side. Sheared off a lug nut when trying to 'troubleshoot'. Stan's was able to get us in within 24 hours (business days) and tightened a few things up. Charged us to replace the lug nut and nothing else. Customer service is always a priority. Simply put, it's never a good time for car repairs, but I trust Stan's.
