I went to this location after having some trouble with another location. Victor was very proactive in helping me get support with my vehicle. The staff were all very kind and helped give me peace of mind that my vehicle was fixed. Though I live further away, I am willing to travel to this location for future services due to the support that I received. Excellent customer service! Again, very appreciative and thankful for their help.

Victor I believe is the main man in charge at this grease monkey. He is such an honest and helpful and knowledgeable mechanic. He can t change what the issue is on your car. But if he can fix it at grease monkey he will tell you where a good place to go might be. I had an. Issue that I was quoted 2600, and I went and talk with victor and the issue did not sound correct to both of us. He spent his time looking around my engine. To see if he could visibly see the issue. Then we decided to get a second opinion. and the issue got fixed for 700 at the place. I will always get my simple maintenance done at this store because of Victor

Made the mistake of going back here. They told me they didnt have my oil filter instock again and had to get it from autozone for $10, instead of substituting it for the one they would have put on they wanted me to pay the addition $10 even though an oil filter is included in their pricing. I also over heard the boys out in the shop talking about my engine blowing up in the next block. It all seemed a bit unprofessional. Especially when I called down the street to Jiffy Lube and they treated me like a valued customer. If it doesnt FEEL good to you, trust that and go somewhere else that has a good vibe and that YOUR insticts say yes to. Unconditional love and acceptance is how we change the world. Choose your path and dont let others dictate any part of it, especially your emotions, thoughts and words. Grease Monkey I want more from you guys, more faith and gratitude in the good in the word.

Tech found previous issue with oil housing filter that was unknown to me. I grabbed the part from a local parts house after my oil change and they installed it for me... honest people. Highly recommended.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Great service! Been coming here for 5 or so years and always get great service, a full run down of what my car needs, and best of all, suggestions on what I can do myself! Highly recommend! Only suggestions is to get in during off hours if you can because they get busy during peak times.

Spoke with victor on the phone and he was able to answer all my questions, once I got there I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome by him and his crew. They were upfront and honest about everything, I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes so and then able to carry on my day and not be car-less for multiple hours. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the area!!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Shady and dishonest. $60 for a conventional oil change (was $45 a few months ago) They showed me a dirty air filter and asked if I wanted new one for $40. The air filter they showed me belonged to a different car, I know bc I changed my own air filter previously. Don t fall for this. I don t even trust they changed my oil pretty shady and dishonest. I won t go here again.This is my first and only google review.

Lied about the work performed on my vehicle. Specifically, told me my cabin air filter and intake air filter were both in bad condition and needed to be replaced. Based on the undisturbed layer of dust on both access points for those filters, they were never opened or checked. I checked the air filter myself - the picture shows my air filter in "very bad condition, needs replaced" (again, this was the first time in a year that the air filter box was opened, and the exterior of the filter box was covered with undisturbed dust). Differential fluid is supposedly "fine" but that plug also has not been removed (or, if it was, they somehow removed it without disturbing any of the road grime on the plug itself). Also spilled some oil across the top of my engine and only partially cleaned it up.Worst of all, I can't be assured they actually put the correct oil in my vehicle. It requires synthetic, but since I've already caught them lying once I wouldn't be surprised to find they had charged me for synthetic and filled the car with conventional. I now have to take the vehicle to another (reputable) service center to have the oil changed again.Avoid at all costs. Your car will thank you.

This is a great GM franchise! This GM has serviced my vehicles for over a decade. I don't recommend every GM, but this one I completely trust because of the manager - Victor. They have identified problems with my vehicle that were not obvious, they have NEVER stripped my oil plug and have always left my vehicle clean, topped-off and ready to go. I HIGHLY recommend this franchise as long as Victor is the manager.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Car broke down right after pick up and had to have it towed to the dealership. They tried to cover their tracks via phone call, but the maintenance needed was not anywhere on the invoice. I will not be returning and its too bad because they normally do good work. But they are Grease Monkeys so what can you really expect.

Incredible customer service!! Arrived here on a Friday at 5:50pm - with part of my car falling off the bottom of my car. I had gone thru a dip in the road nearby and this happened - I was scared to drive home (25 miles away) so asked for help. The kind man who helped me agreed happily to help, explained to me what happened, what to get fixed later and where to go, and did not charge me for his time. I was shocked and overcome with gratitude. He wished me a great weekend - incredible. Highly recommend you go here. I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

I really like this location!!! They are very polite. Very knowledgeable. They make sure your vehicle is up to snuff. More importantly though is they are efficient and capable to work quickly and effectively as a team to get you in and out will providing amazing service. Hands down the best oil change location I have found yet. Thank you for your dedication and hard work to providing a great service and experience!!!

Stop to get an oil change. Joseph got my vehicle in and the oil change took about 30 minutes. Showed me the air filter but did not have stock to replace it. Told me there was not a cabin filter but they could install one. Topped of my coolant and they brought my vehicle to me. I was 5 minutes down the road and the vehicle started to decelerate so I pulled off the road and sat for a minute and the vehicle started again. Drove 10 minutes home and parked the vehicle. I picked up my wife and backed out of the garage and same thing happened. Decelerated until the vehicle stopped. I called Joesph and he said that it "was strange that his guys just changed the oil". He said I could bring it back and his guys would check to see if they left a hose lose. The vehicle would not stay running and the check engine light came on. Had to call a tow truck to have it brought to repair shop. All I wanted was an oil change and now I have a $180 tow bill, no vehicle, and can't get it checked until next week. Really disappointed.Service: Oil change

Not crazy about the customer service here.. The guy at the front desk seemed irritable when I came in and got even more irritable when I asked questions. When I asked him to to make the sticker say I needed an oil change in 10,000 miles he scoffed and said the oil should be changed every 3000 miles. He said it was such confidence I called the Mercedes dealership to make sure I was not wrong. They confirmed I was not wrong. I feel like he was just upselling me, not caring about the fact that he didn't know what he was talking about and was passing along bad information that could have resulted in somebody paying a ton more money than they need to on oil changes. As a customer that does not make me trust you to take care of me. I'm loyal to the people who do good work for me and I write bad reviews about the ones who don't.And last but not least after they put a sticker for 3000 miles I asked them to change it to 10000 miles and as I was driving away I noticed that they put it for closer to 9000 miles. When I came back and pointed it out he laughed at me and said something that implied I was making a big deal over not a lot of miles diffrence. For someone who was just suggesting I needed to change my oil every 3000 Miles you would think the sticker reading a difference of 1000 miles or 1/3 would be a big deal to him.

Had a great experience with Joseph and his employees at the Grease Monkey. Friendly, talkative and informative. There was a line when I got there and time moved fast! I definitely recommend coming here and working with Joseph!

I came to this location out of convenience to my jobsite. Went in for oil and rear diff service and left with a nightmare! Lucky I have a dash cam constantly running! The mechanics disconnected my battery, lost the holder and said nothing about it. I drove home and a loud bang came from the hood, opening to find my battery flipped upside down and now my serpentine belts squeezing and the rear end has a new type of sound! If I m not contacted my the owner soon my lawyers having to do something!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

This store is not only an important part of our community but it is also the Grease Monkey you can trust. I have been to other locations but none like this one, the employees are friendly and respectful. Stopped here on a road trip - zero issues with my car beforehand and just needed an oil change. Left with 15PSI less in one of my tires. On my way home the pressure light instantly came on - so I pulled over to get some air. I ve been motoring for 2 hours and there s been no further drop in air pressure, which means I didn t run over anything - it was let out at the shop, probably when checking tire pressure (which they marked as okay. Lol).

Grease Monkey here on Waneka is always great for me. They re quick but thorough and do a great job each time. Really nice staff, friendly and personable. Speedy service. The only thing I have found troubling in the few times I have gone is the upselling that they try to do. As a woman, I feel like I'm targeted.Last time they mentioned my cabin filter was dirty, showed me a very dirty filter, and said that I was breathing that air and should fix it, among a list of other things I needed on my fairly new car.I had them do everything but the cabin filter because the other items were recommended for the car to run.I usually go to Grease Monkey in Boulder near CU, and I went to it 3+ months after this place. Guy says my cabin filter was "great" when going through the checklist.I stopped him. Wait, it's good? The other place said it was terrible, showed me a dirty filter and said it needed replacing.He told me: I don't upsell here and don't let my staff do it. Your filter is great, not sure why they told you that.So. Maybe try that Grease Monkey. I won't be back to this location given my experienced with upselling here.

I've received good and bad service at this location and have found that it's one of the most expensive places to get an oil change and they routinely upmark the price of routine repair parts. Sometimes four times more expensive than the same parts at any given auto parts store.

Failed to due the job properly. When questioned claimed it would cost most to actually change my oil and not just top it up.AVOID AT ALL COST BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU OTHERWISE!!!Service: Oil change

Victor and his team were very efficient with getting my oil change and tire rotation done in a reasonable amount of time. Victor brought me out to my vehicle and showed me all possible issues major and minor. He then told me about all of the service intervals and if that was necessary for my vehicle due to its mileage. They showed me how dirty my cabin air filter and engine air filter were and then goes to tell me they have both filters in stock and replaced them for a great price. Definitley reccommend going here if you want a fast oil change with great customer service.

My boyfriend and I have been taking our vehicles to this Grease Monkey for the last 20 years, and we ve never had a single problem with a service here. As a matter of fact, there have been numerous times where Victor has pointed out a potential serious problem that could have resulted in a costly repair due to an engine or transmission failure. Case in point, Victor saved the day once again just recently.We purchased a used 2011 Buick Enclave about a month ago, and shortly after we got it, the engine developed a tick. We assumed it was a stuck lifter, so my boyfriend called the dealership, and received a crazy-high quote. Instead, my boyfriend took the car to Victor for a second opinion. Upon checking out the car, Victor said he noticed carbon deposits on the oil filler cap he recommended we get an engine flush and a synthetic oil change. So my boyfriend gave the okay, and they did the flush and oil change. Now the Enclave is running smoothly and quietly the ticking is entirely gone.Also, Victor noticed the axle seal was leaking fluid from the transmission, something we would have never noticed, and could have ended in a transmission failure had it not been brought to our attention.Thanks Victor and crew for the great service we really appreciate it!

This site is reliable and does phenomenal work. They are quick, professional and polite. They will see you last minute no questions asked and not be sideways in their demeanor. Wish I could give zero stars. Went in for a comprehensive fluid change, which went fine. They also changed my air filter and fixed a broken license plate light. Now my AC clicks loudly and incessantly (never did before), my taillights won t turn on, and my backup camera is shorted out.When I went in they said wow, bad luck. Take it to a mechanic and show them the invoice from here. We have a warranty. Never explained the process to get them to pay for the repairs. Never took responsibility. Never contacted a mechanic to go to.Won t go here ever again.

Got my transmission and my oil changed. The lobby was impeccable. All employees made an attempt to to thank me for coming in. Loved the new management. Would recommend to everyone. I normally change my own oil but was in a time crunch so I took it to these guys to get it done. Not only did they incorrectly install the filter (which I now have to go buy a new tool to remove since my oil filter wrench is just mangling it), but they definitely tried to upsell me because I m a woman. I was hoping Grease Monkey in Lafayette would make this right, but they never returned my call so I'm going to share my experience. I went in for an oil change. The woman who helped told me my transmission fluid was the wrong color and was "burnt." I know I should have checked my maintenance records before I went, but I didn't, so shame on me for just believing her.I feel I was tricked and taken advantage of. It turns out that color is not an indicator of needing new transmission fluid, mileage is. When I got home and checked our maintenance records for my van, we'd had the transmission fluid changed just 7,000 miles ago. It was a total waste of $189 (which is twice as much as we had paid for it at the other auto shop). This place takes advantage of people.
