I wasn t looking for a resort when I found this RV Park. It s directly across from the Colorado Welcome Station. I m not a resort type of person and just want someplace to park my RV and relax from a long day on the road. Full hook ups ...I don t believe there s any cable, I didn t see any hook up for that. Kay the owner was very nice and recommended I might want to check out the local museum and even travel down the only portion of the Pony Express Trail here in Julesburg. Which I did both! If your too picky a person this place is not for you.

Kay was super nice lady. Only accept cash. The only positive about place is it has electric. The sites is a field, not level. Water you had to have a T on you to "share" with your neighbor. We were parked next to a permanent resident run down RV. The people asked us for jumper cables and wanted us to get his beat up truck started 1-we didn't have cables and 2-if we did our vehicle was the opposite direction and would have required us to unhook from the very unlevel ground. Our tongue had to go up 11 . The sewer hookup was right under our slide. We didn't feel comfortable there.

I don't give many 5 star ratings because I always feel that there's always room for improvement. But Kay is the nicest lady and takes care of the people that stay with her. She shows up when you pull in and helps you get into your spot. She is extremely helpful with information about the area, I highly recommend staying with her, all she asks is that you respect her property and respect your "neighbors". Something that should be easy for anyone to do. I would definitely not hesitate to stay there again and am actually hoping that I get the chance to.

The only reason I didn t give a 5 is because there really isn t any vegetation and ya park in a sandy lot with no defined parking pad. BUT- Kay was kind, informative and 110% reliable! It s full hook ups, so if you have a self-contained RV and need a place to stop for a night or two that s close to I-80, it s perfect! We would happily give Kay our business again! Owners who treat people like she does, deserve the business!

Called last minute and the owner was more then willing to not only get us 2 spots but met us there and drove us in to show us where to set up. Small place but thats just fine, fit our 41' 5th wheel and 25' camper no problem! Other reviewers complained about it not having "BLAH BLAH BLAH" but who cares, well worth the cheap price, 50 amp power/full hook-ups etc etc and just a nice safe place to stay and AWESOME owner... will absolutely stay here again next time through!

This place was kinda a mixed bag. We got there too late to shop at the store, and didn't even see Kay (the manager) until morning. The grounds are very rundown with lots of broken stuff, including glass, in the outbuildings. However, she was very nice and helpful with getting our trip in order. Only $10 for a spot for a tent right off the interstate. Use the bathrooms across the street in the welcome center.

Lord have mercy! Kay the owner is not right. She's mean, nasty and ladies if you have a big bust line she just stares at your chest then gives you dirty looks. Nasty! Some of the RV outlets didn't work. We stayed there. Never again.

This doesn't seem like much of an RV park, if you want to use a bathroom you have to walk to the Pony Express Rest Area along Rt 76. The rest area is super nice but the campground is rather odd. Everything is CASH and hand written in a tiny slip of paper. They were doing a little price gouging for eclipse, charged us $30 to pitch a tent in the grass next to a spooky house for one night. All amenities are across the road at the rest area. Beautiful sunsets from there. Campsites are loud, right next to Interstate. Camp host recommended the rest area for free coffee in the morning.

No facilities at all here so if you don't have a bathroom in your camper, this might not be the place for you. You'll have to use the public bathrooms at the visitor's center across the street. While they have cable outlets at each spot, the white insulating part of their receptacle disintegrated when I tried to plug in my cable. Needless to say we had no cable. However, there are several over-the-air channels available so we weren't without. The water, electrical and sewer (which is all you really need) were in perfect working order, but the water pressure was a bit low. Other than that it was just fine with us. A good place to stay since our tow-vehicle had broken down and needed repair at the Ford place in town (awesome people, by the way).

I stayed here for a couple months. Landlord was friendly and has cheaper rates for the area. It is very bug friendly and is a small town so there is little to do except fish and work. I also took hail damage twice in the little time I stayed. However the people around are super friendly and is good environment for pets!

VERY run down place. Lots of dilapidated buildings out front. Has no bathroom or showers on sight. Have to walk across the road to use a bathroom at a visitor/rest area. Had to pay in cash. No rates, no hours and no after hours instructions posted anywhere. Weeds and dirt throughout the campground.Rate was $35. We just stayed in a VERY nice campground in Wray, 65 miles south and paid $30. It had LOTS of very nice grass, hookups and showerhouse/bathroom with coin washer/dryer.

2 stars for May because she is a super nice lady. The park is a bit run down and needs some TLC. The "Pull Through" spaces are really back-ins that you pull into and then back out of. So every other space is back-in / pull-in. I would like to suggest to have all long-terms stay in the same area and not weave overnighters within. Water spigots are shared so bring a wye.It was ok in a pinch, but you won't regret driving on by. Sorry May.

Self contained units, this is great place to stay to relax & see stars, sundown, or sun up. They have water, sewage, & your choice of 30amp or 50amp.

We were driving through and needed a break from the road. Called and found available spots. Not very big place but quiet. Full hook-ups in very good condition. The visitor center is across the street and great view of the sun set.

Our host at this RV park was amazing! She let us pitch our tent at a very reasonable rate. Bathrooms were right across the street at the Colorado welcome center.

Bottom of the barrel. You will get electricity and that is about it. The grounds are dirty and unkept, sites are not level. There is nothing here but a dumpster. if all you need is a place to stop for the night and get some sleep it will do.

Over priced for what you get. Dirt/grass site and not level. Lots of cocklebur so dog walking is a challenge.
