This location is filled with a great, helpful team to get you back on the road feeling safer and happier. The team did a full inspection and made sure to walk me through my cars before and after, dumbing it down for someone like me who does not know a lot about cars. I drove away feeling so much better, knowing I was in good hands.On top of it all! They gave me an even bigger discount than the coupon I had brought!

Very thankful for Kelly and Chad! I appreciate both of you for always helping me with my Tahoe. All the staff are very friendly and they are trustworthy! If you want the job done right take it here! They always send pictures of what they are doing to keep you informed.

Although it was busy, Kelly was super nice and helpful. She was able to squeeze us in for a quick brake light change with no wait at all! Brake and rotor prices are very reasonable, their honest about what your car needs!

Ms Kali was amazing and crew there were amazing. She ensured that my 2yr was comfortable and they diagnosed the issue with my A/C fairly quickly and I had no issues. Thank you and I definitely would recommend this Brake plus.

This shop is extraordinary! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about it. Without getting into the weeds and the boring details about my alignment situation, the General Manager there, Kelly Vecchiarelli, went the extra mile (and then some) with her repair staff to make sure that my tires were aligned to perfection. They even ran it through the tester 3x to make precision tweaks. So impressive...I felt so well taken care of. I highly HIGHLY recommend this shop. Thank you, Kelly! : )!!! Ralph

I had my car's maintenance, drain fluids and change spark plugs, done at Brakes Plus in Johnstown a few months ago. It seemed great at first. They helped me get discounts and gave me a coupon for my husband to get his oil changed.First of all, I dropped it off at 8:30 am, when I called at 3pm it wasn't done. They finally called me at 6 pm closing time to pick it up. When I got in the van and turned it on it made a horrific noise, which never happened before I took it to Brakes Plus. I asked them about it and they said it just needed time to go through the system. So I drove it for 2 more days and it would make a weird sound while idling, and then it got a little better and would pop at random times especially turning right. I took it back to them in the early morning of the next day and had to call them at 1 pm because no one called me to inform me of what was going on with my van. When I came to get it they said all of their mechanics drove it and 3 of them looked at it and couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. So they left it and waited for me to get it.I couldn't take the sound after 2 more days so I took it in to a local shop in Milliken and they only took 45 minutes with it and found that the mechanic at Brakes Plus didn't tighten the intake valve and it was hitting against the engine.The second thing is, my husband decided it was a fluke and trusted them enough to use the coupon for an oil change. He made an appointment and got their 15-30 early and they said it would take 2 hours for them to change the oil, even with a set appointment. So he left with no oil change.Because of all of these great reviews on Google I thought I could trust this Brakes Plus, but I was wrong, it is just another big name store that disappoints. Glad I was able to rely on the local mechanic or I would have had to sell the van because the noise became that annoying.

Uncommonly good service. The diagnosis came back with more work needed than I expected, but Kelli analyzed the whole car using carfax and offered discounts on multiple discount-able items to reduce the unexpected cost. I decided to go through with everything needed, and I'm so glad I did. Same-day completion, and feels like a new car, despite being over 200k miles. Will return soon!

My go to place for oil changes and other car concerns! The team, especially Kelly, are always so kind and communicative. I normally wait in the lobby while my car is being worked on, clean and comfy place to wait (which is never an unreasonable amount of time!) Fair prices and super easy to get in for an appointment. Highly recommend:)

Edit: was told to email for resolution. Email they provided bounded back as an undeliverable email . Really frustrated after taking my car in for an oil change and tire rotation today. I brought it in minutes after they opened at 8 am and was asked if I was okay leaving it for 2-3 hours because they were a bit busy. That was totally fine with me, I didn t haven t an appointment so I didn t mind waiting a few hours. 4.5 hours later I called and they hadn t started saying my car was next up on the list. Another two hours went by so I called again, I was told another 30 minutes. Of course it took a bit longer than 30 minutes. I dropped my car off at 8 am and didn t get it back until 4:30 pm, again I was told 2-3 hours. The most frustrating part was went I went to pick it up they denied ever telling me I was told it would be 2-3 hours. We would never tell someone without an appointment that on a weekend. Except one of their staff did no oils change experience should take all day. If you are truly that booked with appointments you should be turning away walk in s rather than keeping their cars all day with wildly inaccurate time estimates. I would ve been happy to come back another time. I ve been coming here for years, but this was unacceptable.

Not too bad. 1.5 hour oil change/tire rotation. They under-filled my engine by 1/2 quart, didn't reset my oil reminder, and didn't print my MPVI. So, I had to call back to get my measurements. My oil change sticker was also set for 9k miles on a 185k mi vehicle, not sure why. Luckily, all those things were easily corrected. Just pay close attention when you get your vehicle back.

Kelly is seriously amazing!!! We took our car to 3 different shops knowing it needed a wheel bearing, everyone told us our car was fine. Called Thursday night, spoke with Kevin and asked them to get me in and check it out because we have 2 kids riding in the car. They got me in Friday morning, by 11am they told me what my car needed. Kelly worked with my warranty company even though they are awful. Will definitely bring all of our cars here from now on. Thanks to you our kids are safe again!

This Brakes plus is awesome!!!!! Always has taken great care of me and my vehicle's from oil changes to brakes to alignments. Kelly the manager and Sandy have always been super friendly and explained any issues as well as they always worked with me to fit in the repairs so as not to break the bank with unneeded repairs or costs . Thanks again for everything !!!!

I had my vehicle in to this Brakes Plus for an Oil Change and I will continue to go back for other maintenance and repairs. Very friendly staff all around. Made me feel very welcome and I felt comfortable knowing that my vehicle was in good hands. Highly Recommend!

My check engine light came on right as I was passing this location. I pulled into the parking lot, read the codes, checked the dipstick and I just needed some oil. I had never been to a Brakes Plus before, so I didn t know they just perform the service and don t sell the parts. They offered to give me a top off *for free* with the full synthetic that I prefer. Fantastic people, would recommend :)

Communication is key here with this crew and why I keep coming back! The entire team at this Johnstown location is very knowledgeable and trustworthy and they follow through on their word to keep the customer informed while the vehicle is in their care. They can do so much more than just brakes, I consider them to be my personal mechanics and am so happy I found them!

Went to Brakes Plus Johnstown for a brake inspection and quote. Kelly & Crew allowed me observe the worn parts which confirmed my need for pads. Instead of demanding new rotors, like other competitive quotes, I was given the option of machining my rotors which were in great shape.Bottom line, Brakes Plus Johnstown was 30% less expensive than 3 other quotes.Thanks for the great service!

Super slow. Had to call several times to get updates. Took 3 hours for them to even diagnose my car. I have good expirences with other brakes plus, but this one was not good. Asked for my car back and so far have been waiting 30 minutes.

Mgr. Ms Kelly and the staff are informative, understanding, and professional, ALL OF THEM! I came in on Jan 13th after going to the dealer and being told my breaks were good. Brakes Plus, after further inspection found my brake pads down to 3mm. I couldn t believe what they showed me. I thank them for explaining everything to us. They saved my family's lives and for that, we are grateful. Mr & Mrs Williams.

AMAZING service!! I went in with my 3 year old son to have my brakes looked at. As soon as I got they asked if my son wanted to color. When he said no, they offered cartoons. They kept me updated regularly and when they discovered it was just dust or a rock causing the noise, they didn't charge me a penny. I'll definitely be coming back for my brake needs and recommend anyone I know to this location. Thank you for making this Mama's day easier than expected!!

Had an 11 appointment. Appointment scheduled as i was waiting for the vehicle. It took an hour to get it back and another hour to get an estimate to have all 4 breaks rotors and front calipers replaced. It is 347 just leaving. In addition to the time I heard Kelly whisper discounts to all customers, she even pulled a customer to the back without safety glasses. Came to check out and no discount I applied coupons given. I felt that my partner and I were treated differently. When she spoke about the car she didn't look at me but my Girlfriend who's more masculine. I am leaving not very happy. She even joked with the customer she checked our before me that if she gets 1 stars she earned it. Which leaves me thinking the difference in service was intentional

I can t say enough good things about Breaks Plus in Johnstown. I have been coming here for the year, ever since I moved up here. Kelly and her team are awesome to work with. Kelly the General Manager is always helpful and honest. She tells me what needs to be done and the estimate cost and she is honest with what I can wait on and what is the most important to have done. The service is always prompt and friendly. They fixed my mom s window on her car for free which had been unable to go all the way down for about 6 years due to someone hitting her car. Didn t have the money or time in the past to get it fixed but Kelly and her team did while it was in for some maintenance and it took no extra time. Will continue to come here.

Went into the Johnstown Brakes Plus today to see about getting my brakes inspected. Not only was everyone extremely friendly and honest I watch an employee get yelled and screamed at all the while she kept herself calm and level-headed. I would not have had that ability to keep as calm as she did. I will be back.

Kelly and her team are EXCEPTIONAL at everything they do. For years, I trust their opinions and feel like I am taken care of. My emergency is their emergency, and that is a good feeling. Not to mention, while I wait, there is a clean, safe space to work while I wait.
