Quality of camping and day use varies depending on weather, river flow and general maintenance. Sometimes it is great other times it's basically unusable. We have lived in Hot Sulphur Springs for about 8 years and have seen both extremes. Homeless using the park is an intermittent issueRestrooms: Porta Potties in campground and public restrooms in the town parkDog-friendliness: Dogs should be leashedPicnic area: Day use only picnic area is no fee however the campground requires a fee

Went to the disc golf course here. Slightly difficult to find but you park and then walk a distance to the course. Lovely course and fun layout. Be prepared for bugs, tall grass, and low impact hiking.

They just redid this park with contemporary playground equipment. It's a woodsy theme, very nicely done. Has a separate, but nearby, little kids area. Has special needs swings, picnic tables, shade shelters and an exercise equipment area. Very nice! My kids and I played tetherball, it was a blast from the past for me, but a totally new thing for them. Lots of fun!

The park is very nice when we visited in September 2021. Expect that most of the facilities will open fully in the summer of 2022. However, the campground is temporary closed and may be soon permanently closed , So sad! Very nice campground but such things do happen.

This is a nice little park that has spots for tent camping, each with their own grills. It's an excellent location to make a quick trek to the Rockies. The park has porta potties and a disc golf course. I also saw some people fishing in the stream, but I'm not sure how successful they were.

This park has everything you will need from horseshoe games, swing sets , places to walk around and of course bathrooms and a water fountain. Ufortunately due to covid the park was still closed including the bathrooms and no water from the fountain. Once reopened it is a very nice area very and a quiet great place for a stroll and plenty of free side parking all around.

The new playground equipment is great! It's not a big park but it will accommodate both young and older kids. With a place for adults to exercise too

this is a free camp ground year round camping and has the cleanest Porta-Potties I have ever had to use all you need is a habitat stamp and your camping gear the town hall also lends out discs for frisbee golf coarse on this site! I can post pics later : )

The entire Park is not well marked from the west end ... as there is a small day use space with picnic tables and camping area along the river. However by taking the dirt road north (towards RR) just beyond the first entrance (w/sign) there opens up another large day use area with another 5-6 camp spaces and 18 hole disc golf course! Keep driving, walking or biking to find it. Took me a bunch of visits and a local to find it.

Went in August. Disc golf course was unplayable. It was completely overgrown, long grass, tons of mosquitoes, and poorly marked to find first "tee box."

Always have enjoyed it for the last 20-25 years. Still did this time very disappointed hey you started charging. I think I understand why but still we've been used to just coming up here and camping

I have lived right across from this Park for nearly 35 years and i walkmy dod there daily its been a huge part of my life i pick up trash there if i see any and i even camp there still to this day when company comes up to visit

On the river, quiet except when the train rolls by. Next door to the Hot Springs Resort.
