Conveniently my review from yesterday disappeared.Let me leave with a dangerous fire Hazard of a battery! They were able to work me in for a new battery install first thing which was much appreciated and I thought maybe I was one of the lucky ones to have a good experience. However, my car died a few days later and I smelled burning plastic. I looked and the negative battery cable had exposed wires and some burned completely through and it burned a hole in my battery cover. The battery cable was SMOKING. They let me leave knowing it was dangerous. I'm so lucky it didn't catch the whole thing on fire going down the highway. This is a very serious issue if they're letting people leave your place of business this way. I took it to a mechanic and it needed a new battery wire and the week old battery was leaking acid!! Over $400 of repair! Im now conerned about the oil change after other reviews! If this place is so busy and understaffed that they can't do things the right and safe way and are turning away simple repairs or having people wait 3 hours for an oil change then walmart needs to hire more mechanics to balance out the demand. Shame on you walmart for not hiring more mechanics and shame on you current mechanics for not having more integrity to do the right thing even if you're busy!I posted photos and a video of the cable smoking as proof of the battery wire damage. You can also see white stuff splattered on the top and it's present on the sides (not sure if you can see that though) and the mechanic verified it was oozing battery acid from the poor install!! I have to take it back after warrantying the battery to see if the alternator or other things were damaged. I will be hiring a lawyer if so.

Winnie is amazing! I didn t realize that I needed an appointment Winnie was willing to work me in anyway. She was courteous, incredibly kind, changed my oil very quickly; and probably the friendliest employee that I ve ever dealt with at Walmart! Thank you, Winnie for making my experience so wonderful!

Such an amazing way to kick off 2024. Had a nice and timely experience getting my oil change done at this location. Winnie is also very kind and a delight to interact with! Highly recommend this location and I will be coming back!!

As pleasant as a trip to the DMV. Wasted nearly an hour to simply have a battery installed. They've also been ignoring their phone the whole time I've been here. Come on.

I first arrived yesterday for my appointment at 2pm, and was told they would have to do it the following day, and the only opening was 7am. Got here for my appointment at 7am, which they pushed back to 9am, got there at 9am and they told me "it's going to be a looooooong time." Walking around the Walmart right now because they only have 1 tiny waiting area. I work customer service, I get how it is being busy but this just isn't it, go to another Walmart.

Worst ever! Workers left my oil tank cover open after an oil change, which caused the oil to splatter everywhere by the engine, putting my life in danger. My car started smoking after a drive from Denver to Boulder and back. I had to stop the car and call for help! When help arrived we found out that after last oil change, Walmart auto center workers never replaced the oil tank cover and oil was dripping from the car everywhere! I tried to call them over 20 times and they kept hanging up on me. I have tried the Lakeside location and the guys there were amazing! But the highland ranch location workers were too high to know what they were doing! I would avoid their services even if free because they will put your life af risk without bothering to know how it happened !

Terrible. Got my oil changed here and hours later my transmission is leaking all over the parking lot. Took it back and the mechanic could see the trans pan covered in fluid, yet the oil pan was totally clean and dry. He just wiped it off and said I m good to go! Overnight it leaked a puddle of CVT transmission fluid into my apartment parking lot and had to have it towed to a shop. Hopefully I m not out $4500 for a new CVT after these people decided to attempt a basic oil change.

Went to return a battery for the core charge, no one was at the desk. Asked at sporting goods and was told if we need help we have to knock on the doors because they all hide in the bay area. Walked back to TLE and there are signs on door BEHIND the counter saying you have to knock for help. Knocked on door for 5 minutes before a woman walked out from a room just right of the door and asked what I wanted. Got the return done and then still had to ask if we could leave using the TLE doors.

"Tom" needs more product and customer service training. We walked in to inquire and order after-market tires for our truck. Tires we have had on this truck since 2015. Tires Walmart has ordered and installed for us for YEARS. Instead TOM decided he'd rather be a complete jerk and argue with us, "Those tires will never fit your truck." Over and over and over despite my past invoice, despite a photo of the damn tires on my truck and the size noted on them. He refused to look them up for a quote. At all. Brushed us off as stupid. Walmart Highlands Ranch, your low hanging fruit just lost a big sale.

They kept me waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes only to tell me they refuse to do an oil change because my oil was low and my car has a misfire (just a bad O2 sensor). Which is absurd. An oil change would only help my car since oil was low, and refusing because of a misfire is not a thing.I'm convinced they got higher priced jobs than a cheap oil change and they pushed me out to help others that were doing more expensive jobs since they were doing all of the final jobs for the day.I immediately went down the street and had no problem getting an oil change. Also have to note that during the hour and fifteen minutes of waiting there were multiple instances of customers waiting at the desk for 15 minutes just to buy something or try to get helped. At one point 4 people were waiting, going behind the counter knocking, trying to get outside to get attention, and they just had nobody come up for at least 20 minutes.

I highly suggest going to a different Walmart! I came here to get an oil change and sat in the lube lane for over 30 minutes. I was never acknowledged or even asked if I needed an oil change! I saw two technicians walking around and one I felt like was making it a point to not make eye contact! This was all absurd and I drove to another Walmart auto center and was helped almost immediately! I personally will never ever step foot back into this Walmart! I understand if they were busy but some form of acknowledgment would have been nice! I know for a fact this isn t the only auto care in this city! Do yourself a favor and go to another place to get your oil changed!!!

This was probably due to some short staffing issues. But i called ahead of time to ask about battery replacement and install. Was told by a nice woman on the line to bring it in at my earliest convenience. i went in about an hour later. Pulled up and saw that multiple people were waiting outside the auto center entrance. took a few minutes for someone to open the doors, then we were told that no one could assist us until 230pm. I asked if i could come back around 5pm, but was told they would be closing at 4pm, even though their listed close time is 7pm. really inconvenient.

Went in for an Oil change at 4 PM and they close at 7 PM. No cars were there so all bays were open but they said they stop taking cars at 4 PM. I see you would probably shut the door at 4 PM if there were a bunch of customers waiting but there was ZERO people there to service. This is a simple case of poor customer service and them being lazy and not wanting to do their job. Went to their competitors and got everything I need done in less than 40 mins so that means I got it all done before 5 pm. These guys at Walmart were still open getting paid to do nothing by their boss . Store Manager should re analysis who they have working in the Oil and Lub shop and ask them what am I paying you for when your not servicing cars during normal business hours.Service: Oil change

Zach at the front desk was so kind and helpful. I couldn't of asked for better customer service. I got a new hitch on my car and he showed me all the locks I would need for my cargo carrier. Not my area of expertise so I am really thankful Zach was working today.

they had a short crew and my oil change was going to be POSSIBLY 2 hour wait. I told them that I've got an errand to run and if be be back. An hour later I returned, and 45 minutes after that my oil was changed. Good guys, on the ball for cheap.

Not only are these people extremely rude, but they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. I made an appointment for 9am. I got there, no one know how to put tires on apparently. And one employee told me to my face he refused to do it. So I sat and waited for someone to get there who knew how. I got my car back and the tire sensors weren't working. So I told them to fix it and the guy acted like they didn't work before we got there. Then, instead of fixing it, he broke another one. Now we go to get our oil change and they tell us our tires are put on backwards. I call and the woman basically blames us. DO NOT GO HERE TO GET ANYTHING ON YOUR CAR FIXED. THEY SUCK.

The exact opposite of service. Completely unnecessary, rude and childish. Even over a simple question, these employees won't hesitate to show you how comfortable they are showing everyone how much they hate their jobs.. would absolutely be careful to check what their work because they couldn't be paid to care less.

The Auto Care Center is horrible! Before the pandemic the staff were slow to do anything, rude and could care less if your a retuen customer. Management is nonexistent and don't have any better attitude than staff. They open at 8am, this means they open the garage doors, stand around while you wait for someone to help you. The customer entrance doors stay locked until someone bangs on the window. No one answered the phone and all stood around until i walked through the front store entrance 600 yards to the main entrance, back through the store and after calling on the phone, pressing the help buttin at the desk and asking a store associate to call someone. 32 minutes later i picked out my own battery using an old catalog, set it up on the desk and explained my frustration when someone came from the back room huddle with a Manager and 4 staff joking about helping me out. This place is / was and will be frustrating for your visit. Go elsewhere!

While service was good, speed is sorely lacking. A competitive shop installed 4 tires, balanced and out the door in 22 minutes. I was at this location for 55 minutes, and all they did was remove and re-install 4 wheels. No mount, balance or even a rotation. Refused to work on the car because of a stripped wheel stud.

I brought in a battery I had purchased six months ago that was completely dead. The Wal-Mart computer would not make the exchange. But the cashier's spent 45 minutes figuring out how to do it so that I could get a new battery. I really appreciate their help.

I was the second person in line 1 minute after they opened at 7am. I was told there would be a 2hour wait for an oil change. This was due to there only being 1 technician to do Tires, Lune, and to check in folks inside the store. He told me technically he wasn't even supposed to be working by himself. When I talked to he customer service desk inside the store they were aware and replied by saying "If he gets hurt back there Walmart is not to blame."Yikes

I waited for 1.5 hours for a oil change and was told that it will be another long wait time for them to get to my turn because of the appointment have priority over other services. I understand and was told that they don't take an appointment for an oil change it's on a first come first serve basis. I'm very disappointed for the lack of services provided by this Walmart.

Dennis the service manager was very friendly. We purchased a new car battery and were replacing it ourselves, but faced some difficulty removing the old battery. Dennis took the time to help us with it and install the new battery. We really appreciate his willingness to help us, even though we weren't receiving any services from their department.

Mechanic did not screw cap on tight enough after changing oil. Brand new car started smoking and lighting up saying there was low oil pressure immediately after leaving store . Tried to call several times after the incident and no one answered . Had to tow it to mechanic. I called again this morning and was told a claim would be made. I am now waiting to hear from Walmart s claim center to assess damage before mechanic will touch it. Was told this could take two days. Now I have to get a rental car and NO ONE will tell me if I will be reimbursed or not. Never trust your car will be taken care of properly at a Walmart. They can t even handle a simple oil change . This is a nightmare .
