Safelite came out to replace windshield in my kids car that we bought used a few years ago. After taking it apart, I was told they couldn t complete work because there was a cut in the pinch weld that needed to be fixed before windshield could be replaced. They taped old windshield back on that was now broken all over. No suggestions on where to go other than smaller shops might replace it without the repair, but they couldn t. We could no longer drive it, but got told they could finish work after repair was done. I looked up windshield and repair shops and found Gerber. Everyone I dealt with was awesome. They got welding fixed and windshield replaced within a couple of days. Gerber was also able to explain why the repair was important. Thank you so much!!!

Jeff Richards & his A-Team completed repairs to the front end of an '02 Toyota w/ such caring, finesse & a high level of skill. Hopefully, the new "visuals" will catch the attention of drivers so I won't get hit, again. A special "mahalo nui loa" to all at Gerber Collision & Glass!

My Experience I Dropped off my vehicle in mid-July for hail repair, immediately got a text stating they got it and an estimate of cost was attached. Got a call the next week, clarifying the necessary work. Feeling good about things. About 5 weeks into the process, I called to get a status and was told they were waiting for parts. Called 2 weeks later, no answer and no returned voicemail. Called a few days later, no answer, no returned voicemail. Called again a few days later. Nothing. Called the next day and actually got a hold of a live human being and was told they would call back within the hour with a status update. I got no call back. I called back the following Monday and was told, Oh, it s ready. Like it had been sitting there because it had been. I live near this shop and pass it daily. My vehicle was sitting in their parking lot, in approximately the same spot for approximately 2 weeks, which makes me wonder just how long the work was completed and how long it would sit there if I didn t call to check because the text link stopped updating and only updated after I finally got my vehicle back. Meanwhile, I had to pay nearly $2,000 out of my own pocket for a rental car because I exceeded the maximum my insurance covered (which equaled 4 weeks).To top it off, after I picked up my vehicle, the next morning the cross-traffic and blind spot detection sensors began shorting out and got a malfunction alarm. Figuring it was a fuse, I checked the fuse box. No luck, but I did notice the fasteners for the grill were missing. Not good. Upon closing the hood, I noticed the antenna was missing. Rubber bumpers on the doors and hood were not replaced either. Wait, it gets better. Turns out I couldn t open the tailgate at all, the brake lights were stuck on, and there was no power to the power supply in the trunk. Thinking to myself, How funny would it be if the gas filler line wasn t attached? Sure enough, when I opened the gas cap, there was nothing, just a hole! I couldn t even put gas in! Then I found two gouges in the paint, where they refinished! I think they were hoping I wouldn t notice. Wrong!I stopped by the shop and spent over 3 hours sitting in their lobby while they addressed my findings. Things I would expect to be completed since they had my vehicle for 10 WEEKS! I still have the gouges in the paint as I don t dare leave my vehicle with them again because I can only imagine how long they would take to correct that.If you would have told me I would be dropping off my vehicle at the middle of July and not get it back until the end of September, I would have made a different decision. That s 10 weeks for hail damage. Oddly enough, Gerber only billed my insurance company for roughly a weeks worth of work. I would say a little communication from the staff would have gone a long way in preventing this, because there was none and the communication that did occur was initiated by me. With that, I would not recommend this shop because all I got was, Sorry. I hate leaving a bad review, but others should beware.UPDATE - I did speak with Gerber about my experience, they did try to offer to rectify the dissatisfactory workmanship, but I declined because I didn't want to leave my vehicle with them again for an undetermined amount of time, risk more communication issues and frustrations, nor did I trust the quality of work that would be done. I'm leaving it as an expensive and disappointing experience.

We took our Mazda in for some hail damage, and were a little worried when we found out our hood had to be replaced. We shouldn t have worried at all! Jeff, the body shop manager, was amazing! Not only did he work with our tight schedule, But he made sure our car was 100% perfect when we picked it up. Everything from the dent repairs, to the replaced hood, looked brand new, and we are 100% satisfied with how it turned out. Not only will we be taking our other vehicle in for Jeff to fix, but we have also referred our family and friends, and will continue to do so!

Wants to charge 6k for a single door replacement or there gonna total the car. Cannot fathom where they got the ideas that the UNDAMAGED doors need to be replaced instead of a wheel that's starting to crack. Also said there was internal damage without stating what kind and just kept insisting that the car needs to be totaled.

Had an appointment at 1pm today for a repair estimate. Front desk worker didn t seem to know about my appointment. Had to give her a lot of information just to find it. Seems like the daily appointments would be cued up and expected? Still waiting 15 minutes after the appointment time. I still plan to get the repairs done here and I ll increase the star rating (or decrease it) based on how this goes!UPDATE: I increased this rating based on a call from the GM. He did a good job of listening to my concerns. I'll see how the actual car repair goes, and offer a final update to this review when it's completed!

Overall experience was good. My car looks great after the work was completed, but unfortunately I am still waiting for their calibration vendor to reach out to me finish calibrating my left turn signal almost four months after picking up my vehicle. They promised the vendor would reach out on multiple occasions and I still have not heard from the vendor.

I went to Gerber to fix my Subaru STI as they were recommended to me by my friend and they are a Subaru Certified Collision Center. They did great work. Repair quality is worth the 5 star alone. I worked with Chad who was awesome. Service was great (5 stars). They kept me well informed as my repair progressed. Extra peace of mind is I don't have to worry about the repair work voiding my car warranty. Would definitely recommend this shop.Services: Exhaust, Painting, Body & Trim

John and Riley were super helpful this morning and were able to get me in and out for my estimate appointment. They're booked up so I cannot get into the shop for repairs until March, but I have confidence that everything will go smoothly at that time too. Extremely friendly and excellent customer service. They made a stressful situation a lot more easy to deal with. :)

This place is phenomenal. The employees are super professional, extremely helpful, and they kept me informed throughout the entire process. I was originally quoted 5 days for my repairs (which was a normal quote) and they had it done in 2, with no compromise to the integrity of the work. My vehicle looks as close to factory as it could possibly be and I am so grateful to have found them post collision. Thank you guys!

Excellent experience all around and exceptional communication throughout the several weeks my vehicle was being repaired after a collision. They have text message updates you can opt into and sometimes a real person types you specialized messages and updates too, in addition to their automated system. I loved that my interior was fully detailed upon pickup - a very nice surprise :) Kudos to their GM Connie and also to Brigett for ensuring I had a positive experience. I recommend this collision and glass center and would use them again in the future.

I came in to get an estimate and then get my side mirror replaced. They were very helpful, and I could tell that they took their time explaining and reassuring their customers. When I came back in to get my repair, they had health and safety standards set up, and they got my mirror replaced and my car back to me in 20 minutes. Joshua is a kind, down-to-earth guy, and I'm thankful he walked me through all my options to help me find the most cost-effective solution.

Gerber repair was the most helpful repair shop I have yet to experience.Their customer service is unmatched, and their work is extremely thorough and trustworthy!I had issues with my rental car upon arrival and they went above and beyond to assist me in my needs. I won t be going anywhere else in Colorado!

I could see someone stopping by here because it may be close to home, but that's it, convenience over quality service. Zero sense of accountability when I called and spoke with the manager regarding the rude, dismissive behavior of the tech that looked at my car, totally cold attitude along with the front desk person who, along with the tech when I first arrived in the lobby, both had to let me know how creepy and gross I looked, while I was trying to laugh it off since it was soo unexpected.Absurd trying to go through the motions with this place, only to leave there and then speak with a manager that would never reprimand friends that work for them. Typical behavior here though, the whole alienating, dismissive, off-putting poor 'customer service'. The tech told me they had an abundance of work, so, like most places today, it's obvious they have job security, they do not need to work.Service: Body & Trim

This location and gerber automotive repair is excellent. I recommended them highly and without reservation. I had repairs done in my car that were extensive at a different location. They guarantee their work. A year later I arranged for some warranty work to be performed at a location more convenient for me. The original gerber location connected me with Connie, the manager at the highlands ranch location. Everything had been arranged for my repairs to be done while I waited and had allotted only an hour for these repairs needed my schedule. She was very friendly, helpful and showed a great deal of concern with my satisfaction. I was not immediately satisfied with the result and she handled my concerns immediately and with excellent customer service to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the result having her service technicians readjust the panel that concerned me. Taking me back to the shop she had me inspect the work and very specifically asked me if I was completely satisfied with the result which I really appreciated. I assured her that I was satisfied and appreciated that she was concerned about my satisfaction. After my warranty work was performed she offered to have my car fully detailed. I declined because I did not have time to wait for a full detail. Instead, keeping my time constraints in mind she arranged to have the exterior of my car washed. This was above and beyond my expectation. They completed the warranty work in under an hour including the bonus car wash. I ve had several services done by Gerber automotive and have always been satisfied. This location and Connie in particular are absolutely top notch!

Took fantastic care of my car. The thing looks brand new again. Will definitely get my business in the future, if needed. They always kept me in the loop on where they were at in the process. Two thumbs up! Josh is thorough in his estimates and Connie is very on top of the communications so I know when things are ready. Very professional team.

The first impression for this business, or at least the one I received on my first visit, was a barely professional person at the front desk with poor communication skills. I have a tiny paint job for a hobby car that I m not in a hurry for. The front desk person made assumptions and didn t take the time to understand my needs. My favorite part (facetious!) was when she pointed to her scheduling calendar as a way to illustrate something that I didn t understand (because it was her scheduling calendar). So bad communication. I confirmed with her that I was more than happy to wait for another professional at the business so waited on the couch for another person to help me. He held promise and understood my needs by asking questions. I thought Oh good, maybe there is hope for this business but that was short lived because he never called me back or text messaged me (like he said he would). So I m going to Maaco and I am using this as a lesson to always look at reviews and ratings before walking in off the street.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I would give zero stars if possible. I got my car looked at here after an accident to further assess the damage. Josh or whatever his name is felt the necessity to aggressively mansplain the insurance claim process to me in a very condescending tone as if I didn t understand how it works. Right from the beginning he kept insisting that there probably isn t further damage and that all of my sudden car issues were just coincidental before he even got a chance to look at it and that he thought the photo claim/estimate was accurate despite my claim adjuster telling me I most likely have more damage than what the pictures show. I requested that they either tape up some plastic to my window or bring it inside because it would not roll back up after the accident and we had rain and hail coming that night and the next night and the plastic I had over the window started coming off on my way to drop it off there. If it wasn t deemed a total loss, why couldn t they do the bare minimum and make sure the interior didn t get damaged? I had a family member go out there to see if they did anything to cover the window, and they didn t do a single thing! They finally put it in the garage after she refused to leave unless they did something. They already ordered parts without assessing any of the damage or doing tear-down, before they even could get their computer thing to check for any internal issues. They also kept stalling in regards to finally looking at the car, I decided to go get my car right as they opened the next morning because I had an awful gut feeling about this place. The moment I got in my car, I noticed that now suddenly my speaker system on the driver and passenger s side doors weren t playing any audio. I put in a decent sound system in this car, it wasn t acting weird after the accident or anything. The driver s side door wasn t even effected in the accident and suddenly my speaker isn t there. They claimed they didn t touch the car, but I think otherwise. Finally took my car to get an estimate from a much better shop and after looking at it for about 20 minutes they deemed it a total loss. All Gerber did was order doors. The other shop saw issues with the regulators, doors, windows, locks, post, paint, and the FRAME. Do not go here, they re con artists and they only want to make money off of the backs of vulnerable people and insurance companies. Go to Euro Collision if you want a much better experience following an accident.

When my brand new car was hit in a parking lot, I brought it to Gerber for the repairs. Admittedly this car is my "baby" and did not want it in just anyone's hands for the repair, also did not want to worry about someone taking it for a joy ride.. The staff at Gerber took fantastic care of me, communicated with me at every step of the process, had the car back to me before the date promised, and did a top notch job on the repair. They also were terrific at assisting me through the insurance claim. Thank you to everyone at the Highlands Ranch Gerber for an outstanding repair and service!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I will say that Gerber did a good job on the basics: the dent repair and paint was flawless. Unfortunately, they completely dropped the ball when it came to the final details. Car was not clean upon delivery, and worse, body fasteners in 5 different places were re-installed incorrectly, or not at all, leaving the trim sort of hanging there. If you are the type of person who loves your car, and is looking for a repair shop to really "get it done right"... all the way down to the final details, I would not take it here.Update May, 2020: body work done by Gerber is starting to crack through the paint.

They had my car for around 45 days. Got it back and the job was not finished. Had to be taken to Schomp BMW for them to get the car completely done. The car is still not done 2-3 weeks after Gerber gave me the keys. I asked Gerber for phone calls back to get things fixed. I was told someone would call me back but no one did. I had to call them every time. Poor management as you can see from reviews and the ratings. Would not recommend to anyone

I've had many issues with Gerber. The first time I received my car was almost 3 months after the accident and there was numerous issues ( no front license plate, steering wheel buttons broken, AC didn't work, they didn't do an alignment, no fog lights, hood wasn't straight, the car was also overheating, and missing wheel caps). I've been back 6 times for these issues and as of last week I have a paint chip on the hood and the clear coat is peeling (the size of paint chip is small but the clear coat issue is about 10 times size of the paint chip). Oh and two days ago the fender well is rubbing on the tire, so my nightmare is still going! All I want is my car the way it was before the accident! I don't wish my nightmare on anyone! Oh and to add more issues. I'm hearing noise from the front end and I took it to Carl and he didn't even put it on a lift, he said it's not related to the accident, he had the nerve to bring up this review, I told him that I didn't ask for the guy to pull out Infront of me and this is what I get in return? It's not the way it was before the accident so I'm at a total loss because they didn't total my car out. Life goes on and I'm going to make sure nobody I know goes to a Gerber regardless!!!

Had a great experience here with my bumper damage. It was completed on schedule despite extra damage discovered during the tear down. Paint job was superb. Solid workmanship on the repair and it is warranted. Staff and customer service was excellent. Even cleaned my car before I picked it up. Thanks guys!

Went in to get a quote for repairs to my vehicle after being T-boned by another driver. They would not even take the time to look at my car without a work order from an insurance company. I just wanted an idea of what it would cost for repairs, but they just want the insurance money to pay for it. Won't waste my time with Gerber Collison & Glass again

Had a great experience. My car was fixed quickly and it looks great. They dealt with my insurance company, which was no easy feat by a longshot, as MetLife seems to be run by crazy people. Drop off, rental car, and pick up all went smoothly. Thumbs up!

The inspection and estimate they gave was very detailed and reasonable. They are very busy but you can tell they will get cars processed as quickly as humanly possible. I look forward to getting my car back as I know they will do the best work possible.
