No one better than Jaun and crew. This little shop is full of dedicated, knowledgeable, honest, (and fun) all around NICE people. Juan managed to squeeze us in the day after we called-he helped us so much, taught us even more (even though he is very busy). He still took the time to make us understand his reports and how to set up a good schedule to fix what we needed to fix now and when we needed to fix things later. We brought in our used car for a pre purchase inspection. He gave us a full overview and it was the best experience. You might have to wait for the work to be done, because staffing is short around this town, but some things are worth the wait and you don't want to just let anyone work on or check your car. The pricing was very fair and he took the time to look up everything and navigated these enormous online manuals to check and double check how he could even fix something that we had not agreed on fixing, to just help us out at the end of our visit. We will be back, and if you have to spend an extra day or so to make sure it's Jaun and his crew working on your car, then take a hike, ride a bike, play in the snow and wait, because it will be one thousand percent worth every penny and minute spent in this wonderful little shop.

On road-trip from Louisiana I noticed transmission fluid leak and brought truck in for inspection. Juan and his staff checked fluid level and confirmed leak at gasket. Had me road ready in a couple hours. Service was performed professionally and personably with a high level of trust. I m heading home confident my vehicle is ready for the trip. JC services is by far the most professional, reliable, and trustworthy autoshop I've ever dealt with. I had a client stranded in gunnison from engine failure. Not only did JC help my clients figure their situation out but he also managed to get the Class-A RV fixed for my company to transport it back to Colorado springs. JC services goes above and beyond to serve the community and those he doesn't even know. He truly loves what he does and has won my business for life! I wish I could rate 10 stars!

In town on vacation and my car broke down. No other shop in town would even let me explain the problem before telling me they were full. Juan not only did a courtesy check but determined it was a quick fix and got my car fixed within 24 hours. He squeezed me in when he had a short week because he knew I needed to leave town. Plus he did a wonderful job, explained everything, and was reasonably priced. Absolutely would go here again and couldn t recommend JC services enough!Service: Auto maintenance

JC services is great, good genuine folks. I was having suspected issues with the U joints in my truck. Juan helped me confirm the issue and gave me advice on how to fix it up. They were very helpful and had a flexible schedule with replacing one of my new tires that had a busted side wall. Got a check engine light on the way back from our road trip. was pretty sure it was just a cylinder misfire but wanted to get it checked out just to be sure. Juan was able to check it out for us in just a few minutes and clear the code out so we could keep driving and see if it popped up again (serious enough to get fixed asap) or was just an engine whoopsie. Thank you so much!

The guys here were amazing!!!! We got a flat tire up at crested butte mountain resort and had to put the donut on in the snow and drive down to gunnison. They got us in really quick and repaired our flat tire in less than 20 minutes and we got back in the road for the 14 hour drive home. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone! Juan is a great human being. He recently helped me out with my vehicle and its issues. As busy as he was, he took the time to diagnose my issue, top me off with oil, charged my battery and away I went back home! Honestly, some of the best customer service I have ever had. JC Services is by far the best automotive repair shop in the Gunnison Valley. Juan & Dawn own the shop and they are honest, hardworking, and just all around amazing people. I have serviced 3 vehicles with them over the years and they never disappoint. If you need to get your car or truck fixed, don t even consider another shop in the Valley!

Anyone who operates a business or is a salesperson in a business that works with the public knows that 77 five-star Google reviews out of a current (9/8/20) total of 79 reviews is really extraordinary. That's 97.5% FIVE-star reviews. It just doesn't get better than that. As a person traveling in the West and spending some days in the Gunnison area when my vehicle needed electrical service, I knew that I had a 97.5% chance of a top-notch experience at JC Services auto repair. I wasn't disappointed! We all know that an honest, ethical and professionally expert auto repair shop is like gold. JC services is one of these. Juan, the owner and technician, is a first-class mechanic AND human being - very intelligent, understanding, caring and totally committed to excellence. I love JC Services! They gave my car a checkup when I first moved to town and topped off fluids but only charged for the service, not for any of the fluids. Then a few days ago I was 30 minutes into a drive from CB to the Denver airport to fly out for my best friend's wedding when my car broke down in traffic. I managed to get the car to turn on and drive over to JC Services before it broke down again. JC worked me in almost immediately, diagnosed the problem, fixed the car, charged a very reasonable price, and got me back on the road in time to make my flight. I'm so grateful to these kind people - they're always understanding, professional, helpful and generous with their pricing. I had a three level problem: 1)out of towner, 2)needed front brakes, and 3)Diesel engine was overheating pulling steep grades w heavy trailer. I was MOST fortunate to choose JC AUTOMOTIVE, based on their website, and customer reviews. Juan fixed both, and was very fair to me in his pricing. He and his wife, Dawn, are first class people and perform quality service. I've never taken the time to do a review in my long life, but I will this time. I highly recommend their business.Dan L.

I was having car trouble while driving across CO.My radiator cap broke on my subaru and the fluid got low causing an air bubble to develop in the system.Juan knew exactly how to fix it. He helped me clear the air bubble, refilled the fluid to the correct level, and had me back on the road to my destination.I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this honest and efficient service.Thank you so much!

I had a rental car from Hertz last month driving through Colorado. The tire pressure warning kept appearing so tried to put some air at a gas station. That made it worse and the air pressure was getting really low. Luckily I drove into JC Services and the guy at the store helped by putting the air in all tires correctly. There were two missing caps in the tire air inlet, so he even put the caps. For these, he did not even charge anything. I am so grateful for their kind, professional help. When I drive through the town again in the future, I will definitely use their service if needed. Highly recommend their wonderful service and kind help. Thank you so much.Service: Tires

JC Services turned out to be really professional and reasonably priced. When my engine was overheating (after a botched repair on my part), I took it into to JC Services and talked with the mechanic, Juan. He was extremely personable and seemed honestly concerned with helping me get my '98 Honda Civic back up and running.After listening to me describe what I had done and my car's problem, Juan diagnosed the issue and installed a new radiator and performed an oil change for me just in time for me to make it to Denver for Christmas. For this I'm extremely thankful. I'm sure he'll keep up the good work in 2019 and I can't recommend my experience with JC Services enough.These are good people you can trust to work on your car, get it turned around quickly, and they won't nickel and dime you.Thank you, Juan!I might also like to add that the receptionist, Dawn, was very kind, professional, and respectful on the phone. After having dealt with weird and rude receptionists in Montrose, it was refreshing to work with Dawn over the phone, so thanks for that Dawn!

Juan is a great, honest mechanic. I had to bring my car in on relatively short notice because of a suspected leak and it was diagnosed the same day. Juan thoroughly explained that there was no leak and that I was good to go. I highly recommend JC Services to anyone in the Gunnison area needing work on their car.

Drove into town for skiing and my check engine light turned on during the drive. Juan helped me do a quick diagnosis and explained my issue and what I should do to prevent it. Amazing service and really gave me the peace of mind to continue driving as well as advice on how to maintain my vehicle!Amazingly honest and professional. Highly recommended

Literally the BEST auto repair shop, period! Juan and Dawn are the kindest, most-professional team I've had the pleasure to work with. Juan diagnosed an issue with my son's vehicle that turned out to be a tremendously saving for us. His diligence and dedication to take personal time on a Saturday to fix the issue says a ton about what he and his team are in business to do. SO blessed to have connected with Juan across state lines to spearhead our necessary and timely repair. Love these folks! Thanks again!!

all the staff was very kind!! I m new to driving and don t know much about cars and Juan, who fixed my Jeep, talked me through what was wrong with it and what to look out for next time. It was Overall a great experience with great people I felt very comfortable the entire time. 10/10 I would definitely recommend JC services.

I had the most positive experience with JC Services! My vehicle broke down while I was traveling by Gunnison and they were able to fit me in, diagnose the problem, thoroughly explain my options, and do the repairs necessary to get me back on the road again. Juan was incredible honest, thorough, considerate, and professional. I have the utmost confidence in his expertise. I only wish I lived in Gunnison so that I would know I had an expert mechanic available to help me in the future.

I had some horrible sounds coming from the rear of my jeep. Juan was willing to go on a drive with me for free and diagnose the problem. I ended up doing the repair myself and yet he maintained the same level of kindness and helpful. I had never been to JC Services, but Juan was so helpful when I stopped in concerned about an engine warning light that came on suddenly while enroute from Colorado Springs to Crested Butte. He took time out of his full schedule to read the code, encouraging me to drive around town and see if the warning light returned. I have had no further issues. So grateful for the help and his expertise.

Juan was extremely helpful and honestly the best mechanic I have come into contact with. My battery was having trouble while I was traveling and Juan took me in right away and figured out the problem, walking me through the issue. You can tell he is honest and cares about his costumers. I cannot recommend Jcservices highly enough!!!

Came in and thought my Subaru was having major problems but Juan took the time to point out the exact location that the fuel leak was coming from. As somewhat of a car guy i have never had a mechanic go and physically give me the flashlight and have me see for myself what was happening. I will be recommending them to my friend who lived in the area.There are still honest mechanics in this world!
