Dustin is a great guy! I brought my short block in to get resurfaced and vapored honed, he exceeded all of my expectations! When I brought my short block I was not aware that parts had to be taken off, he jumped right in and helped me take it apart. 100% recommend this shop!

They are amazing to work with & they made the whole experience simple and easy, Dustin is very knowledgeable & knows what he is doing! He built my custom 3 exhaust and my custom 4 intake for my 1991 Eagle talon TSI. I couldn t be happier with both of the products and the fair pricing. I ll be back with all of my projects welding & fabrication needs !

So far I've came in for multiple engine machining work to be done on my projects and its always a fast reliable service experience.Excellent customer service. I was kept up to date on any progress being made, or if there where any concerns that needed my knowing of.Definitely support this mom and pop shop all day everyday.

Dustin took care of my rebuild on my ej251, he did an amazing job. He s super professional and knowledgeable. Dustin has been super helpful during this whole process with answering questions and keeping me updating on the progress. I want to start and say thank you Kevin for helping me with my Jetta this morning and finding my bad wheel bearings and shock. I went in for an inspection and to figure out a vacuum leak which I believe we found! This shop is an amazing place to take your cars for tuning performance whatever needs done they will take care of you! I've had two major engine repairs completed by Dustin my son's 2013 Nissan Sentra and a complete out of frame rebuilt for my Case skid steer. The quality of work is top notch. However the turnaround time is extremely long. He's certainly quite knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend him.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! Dustin had my car over 3 years and kept telling me he couldn t find the part and he needed more time to find! Kept giving me the run around! Then he moved his shop without telling me for months! Then when I finally told him I want my car back and I m gonna go get it as is he told me he doesn t have my money and he spent it on his own financial bills and he needed the money real bad and that he needed time to get me my money back! The whole three years he kept telling me he couldn t find the parts because in reality, he spent my money, and didn t want to tell me he didn t have money! My car sat there for 3 years because he spent my money! Do not bring your car here I advise you do not take your car there!! Rip off sketchy place!

Currently this shop has a new mechanic. He is not as skilled as previous mechanics and as Dustin is. The management of the shop is stressed out, unreasonable and the shop is not able to communicate in a professional manner. Organized follow-up is not likely. If sensors need monitoring to assure accuracy you will need to do that yourself, as they can cause high fuel usage and damage to other parts as an effect of inaccurate sensor readings. They need professional automotive software for follow-up.Dustin used to ask me to bring in the parts for my repairs for the last 6 or so years. The new guy, Kevin, is rude and unprofessional. He said they were not making enough money from me and he did not want me as a customer anymore. Oh well, he could not even adjust the valves on my Acura and Dustin needed to complete the adjustment. He previously pushed my car into a Cadillac and did not inform me he dented my car. He did not return all the screws into the molding when he repaired the dent he made and he ruined my relationship with Dustin because I ordered my own parts as Dustin used to request that I do. You may want to see if they can do good work without rude abrupt communication and no appreciation for a long term steady customer. I hope they can get it together but now I understand why they have had such mechanic turnover and other relationship problems in the shop.I had been a customer for 5 or 6 years and Dustin was a friend and helpful mechanic for that period of time. I wish Dustin well but be careful of disorganized, sometimes hostile customer service from Kevin.Services: Clutches & transmissions service & repair, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Vehicle maintenance

Had my head and my block machined here and had a great experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and the turn around time was quick. I would definitely recommend Preformance Porting for anyone needing engine work done.

Had an issue with my '04 Forester that turned out to be a hole in my exhaust due to rust. Kevin immediately diagnosed the problem and got me set up with an appointment for a few days later. Brought it in and Dustin had the repair done in less than an hour. Had to do a head job on my Galant VR4, brought the head in and within an hour I walked out with a decked head. Great quality work as well! Customer service was fast and fantastic. I was also told how the previous head job I had done was 7 thou different on each side of the head. Them approaching me without information. Give me a piece of mind on the quality of their service and knowledge as a shop. Definitely swing in if you need a job done in good time and have a quality product in the endService: Engine repair
