12/8/2023 Just got my truck back from Rueben at Colorado Transmission my dodge 2500 diesel went into limp mode and him and his guys did an outstanding job and he explained everything into detail on why and what he replaced I highly recommend him and his quick turnaround to get me going is awesome Thank You Rueben much appreciated

I needed a transmission rebuild on my Chevy Van (the common GM 4L60E transmission). It had been rebuilt poorly before I owned the vehicle, and Rueben at Colorado Transmission was happy to take on the job. He found out why it failed, and then completely rebuilt the unit. This guy really knows transmissions! He's happy to talk and has some special procedures he does during the rebuild to make them shift better and last longer. While I've only driven it a few hundred miles since the rebuild, it's never shifted better and he gave me confidence in the job. He does also include a warranty (12mo/12k miles I believe) for extra peace of mind.Price - It was certainly fair for 2023. A good bit less than the quote I got from national transmission shop we've all heard of, and I feel like I'm getting more personalized care from Rueben and his team.Time - He said it would be about 14 days after dropping off, and he got it done in roughly 12. Seems good to me!Overall, I'm very happy with the service and can't recommend Colorado Transmission enough. I'm so glad we have small independent shops like this to keep our vehicles on the road!Service: Transmission

I had a clutch issue and Reuben (owner) helped me to understand my 4-wheel drive pickup's situation which was not good. Step by step he walked me through what needed to be done which was then accomplished in a few days. The cost was extremely reasonable for the work required, and now the truck shifts great!

Had my clutch replaced after noticing a shot throw bearing.Theses guys rock! Pulled my truck into the shop fast, and they had it done impressively fast. Good clear communication with details of how the process is goin and eta. Now my truck feels better than when I bought it. Very smooth light pressure clutch feel and silent. No noise or vibration. I honestly couldn t be happierWould definitely return when service is needed.Thanks guys

Let me tell you about these guys, they are all so knowledgeable, kind and professional. They know exactly what they are doing and do it exceptionally well. They go above and beyond. I have used them for my father's 1999 Chevy Silverado and my 2013 Kia Sportage. This place is my go to for all my car needs. I just had a new engine installed at another shop and started to have transmission problems. I was honestly thinking worst case scenario (needed a new transmission). I searched around the internet and found Colorado transmission in Greeley which had fantastic reviews. I dropped my truck off with Dave and Rueben the owner contacted me the next day to let me know he diagnosed the problem...$15 in parts (hose and fitting). I picked it up the next day, Saturday which is a day they are normally closed and met Rueben in person.Rueben is a professional and honest owner and we chatted a bit about cars and family. Very knowledgeable and quick. Changed the transfer case in our truck after we broke down on the freeway and got it done in a day. We aren t from the area so we were in a panick on how we were going to get it fixed. Out of all mechanics in the area, I recommend this guy!

These guys know exactly what to do if you ever have a transmission problem! Trust me when I say "THEY'RE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE and affordable too"!!! Try them out!
