Great service. We had an issue climbing the hills on I-70. I called on a Friday afternoon, they were very willing to help us out if we could get there. We arrived about 3pm. We were fixed and on our way by 4:45.Fuel filters replaced and engine codes reset.Very thankful for customer service from Scott and Ryan. Now a days it s hard to find someone to help, especially on a Friday afternoon. Many thanks and happy trails.

Rv Rig ReviewThe staff we very accommodating, the facilities were clean and pleasant. Had a quiet weekend parked waiting for parts where we felt safe and the kids and dogs could wander the parking lot. Driver's lounge includes complimentary washer and dryer and shower. Great place!

Really nice and professional. We broke down in our RV (we're full timers) and were towed here. They got us in quickly and ordered our parts which unfortunately took a week to be delivered. They checked on warranties for us, explained the work, and kept us informed. Lucky for us, they have showers in the bathroom, laundry machines and let us park and live in the lot. We were even able to fill our fresh water tank! It was a long stay, but we were very happy with the way we were taken care of. Plus there are many beautiful places to hike and see in Grand Junction.

Had a major break down spun an broke a cam shaft in just 3 days they tore it down and fixed. If it hadn't been the weekend an I had to get financial help they might have had it down faster. Great service very happy with them. An I normally dread dealerships but not this one.. pics show all that had to be replaced

My TrailKing trailer had a bad air valve. The folks at Transwest got my Kenworth and trailer in the shop right away and replaced the bad valve and a few other components. Very nice trucker/driver waiting area with snacks, drinks, and cell phone charging. Thank you!

My first visit to Transwest Winnebago Service began with making a appointment with Heather. Heather was extremely helpful and professional. She made sure our Solis received all of the necessary repairs. The two service mechanics Chris and Bryan did a excellent job repairing everything. I highly recommend this service center for your Winnebago repairs.

Will not return for rv work or to purchase. RV service side was very disappointing. Charged me $90 daig for a trim piece that I showed them needed fixed. Also $90 diag for shower rollers that I showed them also. Precious trip in they left cover off and wiring hanging out. Called service department to get in and finished. Was never called back. Extremely disappointed.

Great help. We called them because our RV AquaHot system low warning light came on in the middle of our vacation. We were going to pass thru on our way to Denver and they really helped us out. Super helpful and friendly staff got us topped off and back on the road so we can have hot showers for the rest of our trip. We will definitely recommend this location to friends passing through Colorado. Thank you

Most expensive, rude & incompetent shop we have ever done business with. Will never go back here for service or purchase a truck. On 3-29-22 we took our 2011 Isuzu NPR truck into their shop for a failed DEF sensor, sending unit replacement and the ABS & brake lights were illuminated on the dash. After seating on the truck till 4-8-22 they finally supplied me with a $5,781.63 quote. On 4-20-22 a month later William "service writer" said that the truck repairs were completed for the total amount of $6,370.06, so an employee & I made the 160 mile and whole day trip to bring her home. William collected payment in full and said that truck was good to go after a long test drive and final inspection. We got into the unit and realized immediately that the brake and ABS lights were still illuminated on the dash. Needless to say, after paying more than was originally quoted our truck was not repaired accordingly and we left extremely disappointed. William gave us a ton of excesses as to why the truck wasn't properly diagnosed or repaired. On 4-26-22 at 3:55pm I spoke to Marcus the "shop foreman" & he supplied us with an additional quote for an additional $3,415.89. I called them back immediately to dispute the excessive charges especially labor, 200 in shipping and handling of parts. Odiously they were not being overnighted. Marcus said that he would happily remove the $530.03 speed sensor part along with an additional $200 in labor for wasting $700 in employee time/pay and fuel for the first incident which would bring the total cost down to $2700.00. I agreed that would be fair and had them proceed. On 5-6-22 Transwest emailed me the final invoice of $3,494.59 and said that the truck was completed, and a long test drive was performed. Of course, they failed to remove the speed sensor and any of the additional labor charges on their finally invoice like they said they would. On 5-10-22 at 11:30am an employee and I returned for our truck. I inspected the truck before going inside and getting the keys, only to noticed that the throttle peddle was broken off and laying on the floor in the truck. I can only assume this happened during their 2nd test trip and final inspection. Of course, I was beyond frustrated and disappointed. I went in for the paperwork and requested to speak to a manager and the lady at the service desk was extremely rude and said that he wasn't available. Almost $10,000 and a month in a half later without our truck no managers have contacted me. Do yourself a favor and shop around first. Update 5-24-2022 Truck Is now back in Limp Mode and DEF warning lights are back on the dash. After all of the money, time, fuel & our efforts we are back at square 1. Calling the BBB and Attorneys tomorrow morning & filing a formal complaint. After taking it to my local mechanic and another 2 weeks later he was able to find melted wires underneath the truck coming from the DEF module Transwwst a total joke do not use them.

I don't usually complain about high prices, but the quote I got from this company to swap out caster/camber bushings and do an alignment was down right criminal. They wanted $1,200 in parts and labor. Around $200 for the alignment and $1,000 for the bushings. They said three hours of labor EACH side. I ordered the bushings online for $60. Luckily, yesterday was beautiful, so I got to installing them. Using my tiny jack, lug wrench, and no power tools at all, I got the wheel off and had the first bushing replaced within 25 minutes. The second one took me 15 minutes since I already had the jack out. Now, if I had a lift, pneumatic tools, and previous experience, I could have probably done both in 5 minutes each. And they wanted 3 hours each side! These kinds of companies think everyone is a fool and has no idea how long certain items take. BTW, I spent 6 hours in total working on the RV yesterday and in addition to the bushing, I also replaced all four struts and installed a steering stabilizer.

I hope this business knows what a gem they have in Melissa. We had to have our rv worked on and I had to leave my three cats in the rig without staying with them. Needless to say, I was worried and she was so kind and reassuring, I felt much better. She is awesome. The work isn t finished yet but we have no doubts about the quality of service they will provide. We are certain that the service department is as competent as the office staff. Thank you Trans West and Melissa and all of the service department. Wish you all lived in Tucson. Yes... they finished and the service department is awesome too. My, my..... what a pleasant experience for our first rv problem/repair. This company is friendly, professional, helpful and it did not break the bank either. If you are near Grand Junction, don t hesitate to call or visit for all your rv help. Thank you a bunch Transwest.

I have worked with transwest a bunch over the past couple of years. their service department is generally pretty quick on getting things fixed up for us and are very accommodating. their communication is top tier as compared to some others I've dealt with in the valley. their parts department is very helpful and I know I call call any of them up and get the right thing within a timely manner. Their mobile units are very helpful and highly experienced they do great work and are very through. Over all I would say transwest has been a great asset to our operations and will continue to use them in the future. Thanks guys and gals

They took forever to fix our fuel lines and in the process broke the air line. We never had any problems with. Wouldn't except or take fault in breaking the air line. Stpuid! Had to stay in hotel for 6 days.

I would have given this place 5 stars if two gentlemen that had assisted us yesterday were there this morning. They looked at our truck and told us specifically we would need a new fuel filter or at least an oil change to get us home, mind you we were traveling back to Wisconsin after hauling a load. But it was a different story at 7 am when the first person who greeted us acted like he didn t have an ounce of sympathy for the situation we were in; let alone everytime we asked or wanted knowledge on something he had an attitude and instead of explaining would just do it himself. We told him what parts needed to be replaced: he went ahead and added coolant (never even spoke with us before he just did it) and said we would be fine never even bothered to check oil levels or fuel filter. Come to find out it is a fuel filter that needs to be done. He charged us $178 to pour liquid in our truck!!!! Not change or look at anything. Morning staff is the worst and probably the most insincere people. You rock afternoon people! We have a Sterling Cab Truck so they ll know!

Please, please avoid this RV service center. Do your mind and your wallet the favor. It isn't just that their hourly rate is on the higher side, it seems they further pad their wallets with higher than normal hours billed.I had one of the hydraulic jacks on my class a motorhome fail and repair was to be a manufactures warranty repair since I had just had the Jack replaced nine months previous. The manufacture shipped a new Jack no charge to Transwest. When it came to paying for the labor the manufacturer refused to pay the excessive hours Transwest attempted to build them. The manufacturer indicated the job should take about an hour and Transwest was billing for three. They eventually agreed to pay an hour and a half. Since I had the Jack replaced elsewhere nine months previous and was billed for an hour and a half labor this seems to be justified.I also had them install a steering stabilizer. They called to tell me it would be three hours of labor. Unfortunately I approved that, but then began to think that seemed to high. I called the manufacturer and they indicated the job should take about an hour maybe somewhat longer if they needed to cut off one of the U bolts. After I approved the three hours at 10:30 AM I showed up at Transwest at 12:30 and found my rig in the parking lot ready to go. So it is obvious that it took no more than two hours. My bill still reflected a three hour charge. After raising a stink about this they did reduce the billing by $100.A third item I had them look at was my Carefree electric awning. The end caps needed to be adjusted to line up with the accessories lot. Checking the job, I extended my awning and noticed the awning arms were wobbling where they connected to the awning roll. I returned to Transwest to have them check this, they said it s normal and charged me another $75. Talking to Carefree, they indicate this is not normal. There s actually more I could rage about but this is already gotten kind of long-winded. I wanted to get details rather than just say they charge too much. Hopefully you ll avoid this place.

A week ago Monday we were going up the first pass heading out of Denver on the westbound I-70 when our 2005 Itasca Horizon motor home began to seriously overheat. I called all of the Freightliner repair shops and they couldn't get us in until the following week and one shop wouldn't even look at us because we were over 7 years old. I called ahead to this shop and they are first come, first service. The very friendly lady that took my call said that if I got there today that they would likely see us Tuesday afternoon. We didn't make it until 11:30 Monday night. They have two rv spots that accommodated our 40' rv and 29' trailer. Signed in at 7, they took the rigid in around 1:30, and we're done with us by 5:00. The only thing that they could find was that the radiator was really really dirty. They flushed it out and tested the whole system to make sure that nothing else was wrong. Out temp usually ran at 200, but now it is running at 175.Everyone was really nice, professional, and they got us back on the road. There office, shop, and waiting area are really clean. Thanks so much.I also appreciated the call that I got today asking about my experience and making sure that we were satisfied.I would use again and recommend.

I bought a 2014 Winnebago Forza 38R from Transwest in April. I have been saving for a sweet motorhome in my price range, that was a sound, safe purchase. i even had it inspected by a 3rd party. Which I still think was worth doing. I enjoyed the R.V. for 2 small trips, in which both totaled just under 1000 miles. The rest of the time it was parked. I noticed a few items that needed to be addressed , on my way to get the coach looked at, it started to make this horrendous noise... I didn't know if I was going to make it. I made it there and Transwest completely took care of everything. I am psyched to have my R.V. running well, and some folks that are willing to do the right thing to make that happen.Thank you TranswestMark Krasic

I received my motor home from another shop who was unable to complete their repairs. It was late in the day and I went to Transwest. They knew immediately how to solve my problem. They put Bud on the case and in 30 minutes my coach was repaired and I was on my way. Great folks. Allowed me to continue my journey.Phil Freedman

Transwest came through for us! We are full time RVers and getting our generator serviced while on the road was almost impossible - as most places were saying it was going to be weeks before they could work us in - or just didn t return calls. Not Transwest. John worked us in and not only serviced the generator for a great cost, but took care of a couple of other small items. From Julia s kind welcome and hospitality to John s thoughtfulness and the staff s good work we were throughly impressed - and will be back in the future.
