My mom and I were recommended to use this shop by the tow truck driver that collected the vehicle and he was right about them. Our truck was not running at all and they did an excellent job of doing the necessary repairs in stages in order to get approval and make sure we always knew what we were getting into and what the returns on it might be. They definitely did not try to upsell us on anything and their prices were very reasonable for a shop that really prides itself on quality materials and parts. If I need another honest repair or a thorough once over on a used vehicle, I would absolutely trust these guys to be thorough and knowledgeable.

This should be a zero star rating. A while back we had transmission problems with our Sprinter. After calling around central Colo. we chose Mac Daddy. First contact with them was pleasant and professional appearing, not unlike the reception you get at a used car dealership. Over the phone they said to replace the transmission would be 3 to 4 thousand dollars. The final bill was 9 thousand dollars and would have been much higher had we not cut ties with them. When you get a quote of 3 to 4K and ends up 9K it can be one of only two scenarios, 1 they didnt know what they were doing or 2 they were being shady about something. Neither 1 or 2 is a good option. When the work was to be finished they said they couldnt finish the work because they couldnt tune the shift points on the transmission. Their reasoning is that they needed to replace the turbo and or the electronic transmission module, to the tune of an additional 5 thousand dollars. We said NO. Our turbo was working fine when we took it in. When we went to pick up the Sprinter they would not let us near the vehicle until we paid. They also said they would not honor the warranty because we didnt do the extra work. We took the Sprinter to Mercedes in Denver area to tune the shift points and they were able to do so with no problem, no turbo or module needed. When I paid Mercedes for their time, they let me know what they thought about Mac Daddy and it wasnt good. They said they have fixed Mac Daddy problems in the past and would not recommend them despite them being the only option for Sprinter on the west slope of Colo. This was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. BEWARE!!!!!!Service: Transmission

Jesse is great. I have a 2008 Dodge Sprinter and the seatbelt wouldn t stop beeping. Jesse was able to swap that out for a new one in about 15min and then took extra time to scan the engine and clear some codes as well. Highly recommend coming here if you have a Sprinter van.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil changeServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

These guys are awesome! I 100% recommend these guys if you re having car troubles. I m not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to cars but they were very helpful with everything. Both times I ve gone to Mac Daddy s I got great service in a time frame that worked for me and had amazing work done. I know that whenever I have an issue with my car I m taking it to them because they ve earned my continued business.

Highly recommend! If I could I would have given a 10 star! I took my suburban to them and told them I'm on a very tight budget, jesse and the owner worked with me to the T. Jesse also called me before any work was done to verify the issue, parts, and cost which I'm so grateful for as in the past with other shops I've had issues with mechanics just doing the job and giving me a bill without consulting with me. Mac daddys is now my number 1 to go place with my vehicles and will definitely recommend to friends and stranded strangers thank you mac daddy staff and owner for being honest and true to your word! Also they have an awesome towing company for the ones who need it for a very reasonable price!Service: Electrical

I've been on the road in my Sprinter for over 3 years and Craig is by far the most knowledgeable honest and sincere Sprinter mechanic I've met. He worked for Mercedes when they built them and knows the issues with each year. Really good with transmissions. If you're in Moab tow to this guy! I don't know what the poster below saw but that's not how I was treated. Very comfortable waiting area as well with pool table air hockey a kids area...

Fixed none of my issues and damaged my van further before deciding that they didn't want to work on it any more, and STILL charged me for it.I should have thought to take my van to a proper Mercedes mechanic when upon walking in, the mechanic began discussing with me how DEF was important in "keeping your engine cool" (DEF has nothing to do with cooling, it's in the freaking name). But since they seemed otherwise friendly, I decided to give them a try. It took a week for them to decide they didn't want to attempt a repair on either of the two problems I wanted fixed, AND they had informed me they had broken off a glow plug in one of my cylinders, a glow plug which was replaced only 4 months prior (which I was fine paying for a fix for, those kinds of things happen, yet they didn't want to try to fix it), AND that they still were charging for 3 hours of labor and a diagnostic fee.The mechanic I talked to afterwards was unwilling to even accept responsibility for the damage he had caused. I didn't even want my money back because of it, I only wanted him to be man enough to recognize that he had taken an action which despite his best efforts, had damaged my vehicle and he was still refusing, instead placing the blame on me because "I authorized the work'.I strongly recommend against anyone taking a Mercedes here. Make it to Denver if you can.

Upfront pricing. Really like this mechanic shop a lot. Will accept your own parts but can't guarantee anything even if it's model specific to the car or OEM parts. They will charge time and a half labor for this. I feel it's worth it if you know what your putting onto your car. They are reasonable on part prices but I like to shop around for better deals on quality parts.Craig is a good mechanic and I would recommend this shop to others.

They were very quick fixing my vehicle and kept me informed about what was happening. Very happy with their service and will use them again. Mac Daddy installed a new radiator in my vehicle.

This place is the most caring and professional auto shop I have ever been to. After my car broke down on the side of the highway, MacDaddy Motorworx quickly picked me up and gave me a tow back to their shop. The employees here, specifically Toby and Jesse, kept me in the loop through every step of the way, gave me straight answers to my questions, and even though my car was beyond repair, these guys helped me as much as they could, drove me to a hotel, gave me a ride to the bus station, and let me keep my broken car at their shop for the weekend while I figured out what to do. Finally, I felt they genuinely cared for my best interest and went above and beyond. I seriously don t know what I would have done without them! 10/10 I recommend MacDaddy Motorworx .

I went there b/c my car kept losing it's battery charge. So, I felt I just needed the battery replaced. They couldn't get me in for almost a week and told me it'll be $800.00. I decided to go to Modern Classic Motors. They got me in the next day and it cost me $130.00. My car starts without any problems now. I will never go to Mac Daddy with any of my vehicles again. I'd give zero star rating if I could.

My experience was the opposite of these reviews. My van was there for two months with 2.5 hours of labor. I received at most one call from MacDaddy after I left my van. They did not call me to order parts, they didn't order the parts after I would call them. I had to bring in parts needed each time. This happened many times because they did not properly identify the parts I brought these indiscretions up to the owner and he said "transitional times are tough". He knows I own many other vehicles they service, I guess he gets enough business that he doesn't need any more. Would have given 2 stars if my van's battery wasn't dead upon pickup, which says a bit more.

While traveling our Sprinter-based motorhome went into "Limp Home" mode where it lost 30% of its power. We came here, they checked out the codes which suggested the turbo charger but couldn't be sure and said they didn't feel it was appropriate to gamble, recommending we limp it to a dealership who would have Mercedes more-specialized diagnostic tools. They didn't charge (I would have happily paid since they took us in with no notice especially). That kind of honesty is to be commended.

A++ for honesty--they ran initial diagnostics and found a probable cause. Further diagnostics required a specialized piece of equipment that only Mercedes has. They could have shotgunned the repair replacing multiple $1000+ parts until one of them worked. Instead, they recommended a Mercedes dealership that could run the required diagnostic. They charged us nothing. Thanks guys!!!

The clutch on our Xterra went out while we traveling to Colorado from Oregon during the winter holiday. It's a real pain finding anyone to work on your vehicle when both Christmas and New Year's fall during the middle of the week. Mac Daddy's came to the rescue and even stayed late into the evening (9 pm) to get the job done. Their prices were very fair and so far, so good - it made the 1000+ mile trip back home without a hitch.

$150.00 for a diagnosis that wasn't the right diagnosis and then Toby told me I have to take my truck to the dealer because they can't fix it. I won't recommend this place to anyone who has car trouble.

These guys worked on my motorhome engine, they identified several problems immediately. After fixing what I could afford they gave me an itemized list of things I need to do next. Can't express how much I appreciate these guys.

This place is full of complete unprofessional people who don't k ow how to talk to their customers because they are themselves very low standard people. First they call someone to meet then they are unavailable and on top of that they don't even tell when to come back. Learn some manners. Don't make other person to show you who you are.
