Great experience at Katz today. I had a flat tire that needed repairing and called Katz because of how close they were. Told me to bring it in now and they'd take care of it free of charge. Within 30 minutes, the tire was repaired and they did a once over to make sure nothing crucial needed to be done. They gave me an estimate for just a few things to be done that were all very reasonable. They were not pushing or trying to get more out of me, just telling me what was needed. Overall, a great experience that I will remember for future needs!

Highly recommend!!Our car started to make some noises half way through our 20 hour drive across the country. We gave Katz a call right away at 7:30 am on the Saturday before Christmas Eve when they opened and they were able to get us in immediately. When we arrived they were very friendly and welcoming, letting us hang out inside with our dogs. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us an honest opinion on what we absolutely should get fixed before driving another 9 hours to our destination. Their team had our car fixed and ready to go for us in just over 2 hours. I couldn t have been more impressed with their service!

I had the most incredible experience with Katz Automotive during a crucial moving journey from Oklahoma to California. Unexpectedly, my car began experiencing issues after traversing the peak-to-peak highway. Stranded and unsure of what to do, I sought help at an AutoZone where I was informed of an engine camshaft problem. Faced with the dilemma of continuing on or seeking immediate assistance, I reached out to Katz Automotive and spoke with Alex.From the moment I spoke to Alex, I knew I was in capable hands. He exuded confidence and assurance, saying, "Yeah, girl, we've got you covered. Bring it down." This level of comfort was exactly what I needed in such a stressful situation. I promptly took my car to their shop where Alex examined it early in the morning. Without hesitation, he confirmed they had the necessary part and assured me they would fix the issue and have me back on the road.Throughout the day, Alex and his team worked tirelessly on my car, making sure every detail was attended to. Despite the challenges, they remained incredibly helpful and courteous. What set them apart was not only their expertise but also the kindness they extended. Alex even invited us to lunch, creating a sense of camaraderie that eased my anxiety.As the day progressed, Katz Automotive continued to work diligently on my car until around 5 PM. Initially, I approached them with a persistent oil leak issue. The team, demonstrating their expertise, replaced the oil pan seal as a first measure. However, the problem persisted.Here, the true caliber of Katz Automotive shone through. Without hesitation, Alex and his team revisited the issue. So thankful to have broke down in Grand Junction and have the Katz team work on our 4Runner! It s always scary breaking down somewhere you re not familiar with and we felt right at home at Katz. Great family run business that takes great care of their customers and treats them like family! Dog friendly too!

Absolutely incredible service. And the most kind, caring folks you'll find Anywhere. We felt like family from the minute we walked through the door. Alex, Ro and the crew made sure we were informed and comfortable with the entire process, we had spark plugs that popped out and stripped the threading and a busted shock.The RV was making horrible noises.The crew at Katz went above and beyond to help us with everything from lodging, to working overtime to get us back on the road quickly and safely. Ensuring our comfort. I arrived at Katz Automotive with a an oil leak in the front crankshaft...which turned into a leak in the back and rear brakes going bad. I was in the process of moving from Utah back east and was desperate for any mechanic who could help fix my car so I could make it home in time for Thanksgiving. Katz was the only mechanic shop open on a Saturday morning, so that's where I ended up. Boy, am I glad.I was met with friendly service and mechanics who know what they're doing. Repairs I thought would take all day to fix, only took a few hours and I was back on my way before noon. No more leaking, no more squeaking; my car is back in good health.If you are looking for a service shop in Grand Junction I highly recommend these guys. The owner is incredibly easy to talk to and very personable and makes sure his customers (and their vehicles) are well taken care of. The next time I am in Grand Junction with car troubles, I will be seeing these guys.

We were partway into a 20 hour road trip to California when our high-top van completely died on the side of I70 battery steaming and not a building in sight. We started calling mechanics to get a tow to and Alex at Katz said Yeah, no problem, we ll check it out. I am so glad because this shop is absolutely an A+ in service.We finished with the tow almost four hours after calling them and they immediately diagnosed the problem (alternator failure) and got to work. They were kind and let us wait inside with our dog. Alex is such a good person and I m so glad we chose his shop for the repair. We were back on the road in just under two hours!Thank you so much, Alex and Team! We made it to California!

Alex and his crew are absolutely incredible! We were a bit panicked trying to remediate a crankshaft position sensor code as we were only passing through Junction as part of an extremely long drive. They got us in and out in an hour!! Relief is an understatement for sure. Recently just went to Katz automotive due to a loud cracking noise in the front driver side wheel well. Previously I went to another shop and had my wheel bearings replaced a month earlier and they didn t tighten my wheel all the way. The wheel ended up coming off and damaging my truck with 3,000 worth of damage!!!Alex from Katz automotive reached out to that company and got them to make it right! And replaced everything that was damaged,10/10 would recommend this shop. Great environment, great workers.

I came into Katz Auto, and I have to say I couldn t be happier receiving such great care from Alex. I came in with a problem that didn t even involve a car in his shop and he was more than accommodating to me. I needed help getting a bolt that was seized in a part that I was working on out. Although the task seemed impossible at first, Alex didn t give up on it and managed to get it out. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the grand junction area, thank you again Alex, you don t understand how much we appreciate it!

I had an overheating issue with my truck on a road trip. After explaining the issue, they believed I just needed the debris between my radiator and condenser cleaned out.When I asked about whether a flush was needed, he said he would do that if I wanted, but really didn t believe it was necessary.So nice to have a shop give honest answers without trying to charge you for more than you need!Thank you!

I highly recommend Katz automotive!! I had the great pleasure of working with Alex. I needed work on my a/c, but he went above and beyond and checked the rest of my car alongside fixing my a/c. I ended up needing break pads and he even topped off my oil. They Gave me a one hell of a deal! Katz is very affordable, and professional. I will definitely be coming back for my next auto maintenances. I showed up at Katz on a Saturday morning without an appointment, at opening time. Alex was so wonderful! He fed us homemade Mexican food while we discussed my car issues. Before long Alex and his team were working on my car to ensure I had a safe trip back home to PA. He kept me posted, gave me my options, and made sure we were safely off on our way. He was so kind and respectful to myself and my kids. I would 100% be back at Katz for my car repair needs if I lived in Grand Junction. I recommend Katz to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thorough repair shop. Every employee I spoke to was kind and courteous. I knew Alex was busy, but he didn't send me away or complain about any inconveniences. Thank you Alex for everything!

Ro was an incredible help when we were in a pinch!We were visiting from out of town when my car kept failing to start. Ro welcomed us on a Saturday morning, assessed the situation quickly and offered a long lasting fix for a fair price. It was refreshing to feel like someone was looking out for our best interest without having an ulterior motive. We really appreciate the fairness out of this experience.

My friends and I needed to completely replace our tire on a week long, cross-country road trip, leaving us in a dire situation. Carlos immediately found us a new tire and stayed after hours to replace it for us. He was professional, knowledgeable, and caring about his customers. I drive an older car with well 200k miles. Alex and his staff always know what to do and how to fix it to keep my car on the road. I am not interested in a new car (especially the payment that goes with those) so it's such a blessing to have someone to turn to that I know I can trust! I don't take my car anywhere else!

Alex is very kind and genuine. He explains what's wrong with your car and shows you where the problem is. Katz was able to get me in when no other place would and the service is exceptional. Carlos and the rest of the team at Katz was friendly and extremely time efficient. We called right before closing needing help with a bent rim, and they stayed open late to help us install a new tire! This shop is so great! I was traveling through to visit family when my car overheated. I had it towed here on a Friday night and on Saturday I called them to explain the situation. They had it diagnosed in under an hour and fixed in another couple hours. Friendly and helpful. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here!

Best kat around town ! Dropped my truck off to get my ac fixed and they had it ready by the end of the day. Alex is amazing and honest. Great price and fast service.
