Absolutely the best shop in town. I brought them my truck after my dealer messed up several times doing something that should have been simple but refused to do the research and take the time to do right. Bo the mechanic was/is extremely professional and knowledgeable, he pointed out what was wrong instantly and came up with a game plan to get me back on the road again safely. These guys also installed my custom 4 link suspension kit( I had it powder coated and they didn t scratch a hair on it) I will always take my truck to these guys no matter what, the best part is , when they were done fixing my truck, the bill was less expensive than they initially quoted me, which never happens!!! 10 stars!!!!

I took my 2013 Rubicon into Barney Brothers at the recommendation of Dale Swiderski who actually lives in Kansas city. I met Susie and asked her about a under carriage inspection. They found that my front end needed rebuilt. Bo and Johnny were awesome to deal with. Bo gave me a tour of their garage which was amazing. They took the time to explain everything that needed to be done and the reason why. Drove my Jeep home today and it drove like a new vehicle. Thank you all so much. I trust the Barney Brothers Team. You should too!

I can't say enough good things about Brian and the entire staff at Barney Brothers! While driving home to Southern CA through Grand Junction, end of Aug, 2023, my 2022 Bronco decided to run rough then not start not long after a fill up. It was about 106deg. I called the Ford Dealer who promptly told me they couldn't even look at the Bronco for over 2 weeks! I started calling around and most repair shops said, they really couldn't take it on. I called Barney Brothers and spoke to Brian. He said to get it towed in and they will do their best to diagnose the issue. Well they did a several hour diagnostic and determined it was a fuel pump issue. They contacted the Dealer, who said they are on back order for at least 30 days! No after market parts made. I was able to track down the pump in Los Angeles the next day, had it sent over-night. As a back up, Brian's parts guy found and ordered one out of UT as well. The next day the part arrived and they got it installed and I was back on the road by noon! Fantastic, customer service! They went way above and beyond. Now that's old school! I would recommend Barney Brothers any time!Steve M

I had a broken bracket on my hydro assist. I was only in town for a couple days and they were able get my Jeep in and fixed. They even took me to my hotel and picked me up when it was finished. The bracket is stronger now than before the break. A great group of people.

Thank you Barney's! I LOVE the work you did on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma! The lift kit, rock sliders, grill guard, wheels and tires are everything I could have hoped for!

Had BB install some sliders on my 4Runner. They were very accommodating and quick. Quoted me two hours and the cost for that and told me when I picked up that it was only about 30 minutes and only charged me for that. Honesty in business is rare these days and these guys are the real deal.

Finally decided to have the Jeep lifted, Brian and his staff were amazing about walking me through the process. They took time to discuss all the different options and made sure it was within my budget. I went with the 2.5 inch lift from AEV and I couldn t be happier. Calvin was great with answering any questions I had as well as keeping me updated through the installation process. These people are the experts! I wanted to level my F150 and Jonathan ran me through several options until I decided on the Fox 2.0 kit. They even did a free adjustment a few weeks after install to smooth out the ride quality. I drive three hours from Silverthorne for this shop and will continue to do so. I am always surprised and happy to find a business with this level of customer service.

The staff here are amazing. I came in for a suspension lift and talked to them about some repairs that I also needed done. They did a thorough inspection of my truck and made me a great price for the repairs. They went above and beyond to keep me updated on their findings and the progress of the repairs. I highly recommend them and I will definitely return in the future.

This is the second 4X4 Barneys has done off road modifications for me and I'm just as please this time as I was the first time. I wanted to lift it 2.5" and add a new bummer/winch on my Grand Cherokee. Brian spent lots of time with me helping to picking out parts and options Couldn't be more pleased. if you want to upgrade you off road vehicle, I don't think you can find a better place to have your work done.

After I bought a very well used 93 YJ Jeep Wrangler, I was way over my head on repairs. Barney's seriously made the process much easier and has done incredible work to make the 4x4 system reliable and safe. I will definitely be bringing my Jeep back to them when I need more work done.

Only go here if you have money lol was charged $200+ bucks for them to check two things on my car. They then give me a quote worth more than my vehicle. Essentially saying almost everything has to be replaced, and stating it needs to be done all at once.Took it to another mechanic who is reputable in town, checked it for $50, gave me a quote 5 TIMES less than this place did and finished the work in a day. $1.4k for what I needed vs the quote from here that was over $7,000 for a 1990s Toyota.Wasn't gonna leave a review but one of their employees took it upon themselves to text my personal cell phone number asking me to leave one. So here's an honest review.

Absolutely would recommend Barney brothers for your 4x4 needs. Had a banged up pitman arm and they took me in right away and got it squared away in a few hours. The dealership had my Jeep for over 3 months and kept charging me out the butt on parts to fix it and it never got fixed. I m out 2000 dollars. I took it to Barney Bros and it took them an entire 2 hours of looking and running tests to find the exact issue and I drove it home that very same day. I am SO happy to have my Jeep back!!!! Their customer service is impeccable! What an awesome group of guys. They did an amazing job working with the paint company and installing my new bumpers and shocks on my truck. They kept me updated on every process of the install. Will be going back to them for more upgrades!

Worst place ever , left my Jeep with engine light on and won t start ,Jeep was there for almost 2 month, paid almost 3000$ never receive call back from them, when went to pick up Jeep , it was muddy driven 40 miles n , with a dent and the worst nothing was fixed . When asked what is going they said they didn t have proper equipment to finish the job and they think it has to be reprogrammed but not sure. Wouldn t trust this place ever again I don t even know why I was charged if nothing was done my Jeep was used for personal enjoyment and plus they even dented it . And none of the parts they supposed to be replaced were given back to me except the sensor I guess they return the parts only they want to return even if you ask them to save them

I was heading north and my four wheel drive was acting up. The staff and mechanic got me in right away. Not what I expected. The mechanic diagnosed and made the repairs very quickly. Bottom line. Great bunch of guys !! I would not go anywhere else. I came to them as a customer and left as a friend. Daren , Chad are very helpful, Tim and all the rest are great always helpful when you ask there advise and never try to push you in to the shop just for your business. Brian up front is great at finding what you need and suggestions that might work. Excellent what else can you say !!

I looked ALL over for a new soft top (Denver, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and on-line). Barney Brothers was by far the most helpful and the price was better than what I was quoted in Denver. I had my soft top in a couple of days.

I have a 2019 F-450 Platinum and wanted a winch. I was very picky about how it would end up looking. Erik spent hours with me over the course of a few weeks to find what I wanted. It s now painted, installed and looks awesome. I couldn t be happier.

The Barney s team did an awesome job installing the lift kit and wheels and tires on my Subaru Outback! They also made the whole process fun with their enthusiasm and input towards the modifications I wanted for this project. Was buying a car 1500 miles away from home. I asked the dealership if they could take it to Barney Brothers to do an inspection for me and everything I asked Barney Brothers to do. They went above and beyond. I'm 1500 miles away from him and if I ever get the chance to go out that way again I'm definitely going to stop in and visit. Super nice people and willing to answer any questions I had to ask
