Jeffery the manager knows his stuff. He ll make suggestions and explain in detail why you need to get X service done at X amount of miles but doesn t shame you into doing it and isn t pushy about it. I appreciate that, so in the end I end up following his service recommendations anyway. I ve never had to wait too long at this location and they re pretty precise about telling you how long the service will take. I like going here. 5 stars

Jay and Cory took good care of my car. They were efficient and provided service with some great humor as well. My transmission fluid was due to be changed and Jay gave me a call to give me a heads up and to see if that was something that I wanted as well. That had fallen off my radar and I was happy that I could get it done at the same time. I managed to get some last-minute shopping done across the street too. It was a win-win all around. I will definitely be going there to get my oil changed here in the future.

rest of this place gets 4 stars but Jeff gets 5. had an issue with installation I had to return the next day to get it right they sent out one of the managers (Jeff). Jeff fixed the problem and made it right. truly a man of the people.

A moment of silence for this Grease Monkey location! This is the first time I ve ever looked forward to get my oil changed. I think this was my 3rd visit to this location. Jeff is the most respectful southern gentleman around!! I always smile and laugh when I go there and the service is FAST. Don t sleep on Grease Monkey especially this location. They don t try to oversell you either ;)Thank you Jeff!!!!

Staff is friendly and honest.They will always offer one upsell or another but a simple "no thank you" usually ends any pressure. Did have an issue on a coolant flush where they claimed I had a leak when for sure I knew I did not - again an attempted upsell but I just said I know for a fact it isn't leaking and they said "ok I'll tell the boss that's what you said." So just be prepared to say I just want the basic service.In and out the door in 10-15 minutes for oil changes. So I recommend the shop.

James the manager and the whole crew are so friendly! There was no wait. They even include a free carwash! There was a 1 week wait at my local dealer. Come see these guys and leave happy!

Grease Monkey in Golden, CO is the best location in the Denver area for servicing my Jeep. Jeff and the other staff members are customer oriented and always do a good job. I highly recommend this location for consistent service.

I brought my car in for an oil change, a couple of weeks later a mechanic was doing some work on my car and informed me that there was way too much oil in my car and it was filthy. I looked at the oil and it was black and nasty. So apparently I just paid for oil to get poured in.

As a repeat client, super quick service on this particular Saturday. One accessory bulb found to be burnt out and I wasn't pressured into replacing while the oil change took place. Just suggested. Thanks.

Easily one of the worst oil change experiences of my life. I brought in my 2019 Jeep wrangler, accepting that it was going to be a pricey oil change, I was first quoted $87.99. When all the work was finally done and I went to the register they tried charging me $172 total for the oil change and air filters. I was not made aware of any additional charges and was hugely shocked when I saw the filters that I could buy across the street were double the price.When I went back in to explain the situation I was met with nothing but hostility from the manager and employee (who for some reason tried to make me feel bad about him getting in trouble)While the charges were being fixed, the mechanics went into my hood without permission TO PUT THE FILTERS THAT THEY THREW IN THE TRASH BACK INTO MY CAR. Quick thing, just because you CAN do something, does not mean you SHOULD do something. There is now oil blasting through my main air cabin and I am beyond pissed with the service I received this morning.The mechanics who worked on my vehicle should be ashamed of themselves.Not to mention, unlatching and letting yourselves into my hood while it s not in the bay is technically trespassing and you managed to completely gas me out with synthetic in the process

This place was calm and peaceful and they had lots of customers. But all of them were nice respectful and great costumer service! Will be going back for other things even though it is about hour out of my way. Highly recommended!

First time customer, and it was remarkable how easy everything was. All my questions were answered and the service was quick. The car wash was like a cherry on top. I will return as I am new to the area and don t know much about cars. In fact, I was so impressed by the experience that I will drive all the way to Golden, Colorado, where I was today, From the other side of Denver. The GM staff members are all very nice, which I appreciated. The comfortable chair to wait and didn t hurt, either.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

This was probably the best experience I have ever had while getting my car fixed. I always go to the same one. The service is very good. Everyone there is really nice and respectful. And I trust that their recommendations are sincere and not them just trying to upsell me. And they keep good records of my visits which helped me when my car needed service do to a recall. Will continue to be a customer.

Recommended. Shop is clean, professional, and timely. Shop worked on my truck yesterday morning. After getting home, I realized there was minor problem later that afternoon. I usually do not give reviews unless they are positive. However, in this case I could not make a complaint to management, since I was informed that he was the Manager. I called regarding setting an appointment for an oil change and was told that they did not take appointments, only walk-ins. Fair enough, not the issue. His tone of voice from the very beginning of the conversation showed his exasperation in having to answer the phone and my questions. When I asked how long of a wait for an oil change, he said 30 to 40 minutes. I asked if they had a time of the day that was usually slower? He replied in a very condescending voice I can t predict the future ma am . I let him know I was just trying to find a better time of the day to come in, and I did not appreciate his tone with me. I hung up the phone and was ready to move on, but thought, if I was the owner of a business, I would like to know that my employee had been rude. I called back and asked him for his Manager. He let me know he was the Manager. I asked for the owner, he said he was not there. I asked for his number, and he said I would have to call back later, he was busy and did not have time to give me that information.I have been to this Grease Monkey, many times before, and have never had this experience. I would like to say that I will try them another time as I am not a one strike your out type of person. However, I called the Jiffy Lube across the street, and talked to a very polite employee, who took the time to share wait times, 10 to 20 minutes. Upon arrival, I was greeted politely, even though they all were in the middle of service with other customers. My oil change was done quickly, efficiently, and every employee was polite. I will not go back to Grease Monkey again. Why, should I when I have a better choice across the street. Sad that one employee can cause you to lose a customer. I am guessing I am not the only person that has experienced this from this Manager. Also sad that he is the person that sets an example for his employees.
