I worked with these guys for 6 months to get my A/C working. Overall, these guys are very disorganized and it seems they're in over their heads, taking way too many cars in at a time. First, they replaced the A/C seals unnecessarily, then they replaced the condenser (also unnecessary). When that didn't work, I got a 2nd condenser installed and that didn't work either. After driving there to drop my car off for a scheduled appointment, they asked me to "come back a few days" TWICE. I had a ride there waiting for me! I had already arranged rides to school for my kids! Of the 6 trips I've made there, I've only left my car there 3X and spent a ton of money. I spoke with the owner after all this and he promised to get back to me first thing on Monday to "make it right" which was 3 weeks ago. I still haven't heard from him, so I took it into another shop and they replaced a $200 valve and fixed it. Huge waste of time, HUGE waste of money. VERY poor communication- I always had to call them to find out what was going on with my car and when it would be done- they don't call you. This place is a poorly run money pit.

I realized the previous evening that my headlights had gone out. Since I work 30 miles from where I live, getting them fixed near my home would have required a day off from work. I started calling around in Golden and appointments were booking out a minimum of 4 days, so driving home in the dark with no lights just wasn't feasible. Called up Cool Breeze and Bob took me in right away. Went to work on the headlights within a couple hours and had it fixed before noon. He even polished my headlight covers. Drove home that night to much relief with working headlights. Bob got me out of a jam and I would happily take my car back to him again.

Been taking my vehicles to Cool Breeze for about 10 years and have had nothing but great experiences. Its great having a shop you can trust. They don't try to upsell you with unnecessary maintenance like the big chains. Bob has helped me out of bind a few times when I needed something ASAP.

Called Bobby a week out to set up some time to get my rear wheel bearings looked at. Dropped off first thing in the morning, he called me less than an hour later to tell me what needed done, I approved, work was done and I picked up early afternoon. Everything has been riding great (this review is at least a month overdue!).

Paid $100 just for Bob to only identify what the problem with my air conditioning is, which is supposedly nothing.. other than a splint in my hot line which means no power is being transferred. Quoted me up to 3hrs for $110/hr to fix the issue. Came back a few days later to bring my Tahoe in. Was told my vehicle would be ready by noon only to find out at 5PM that it he needed it an extra day? I use my vehicle to make money and stressed how important timing was so picked up the vehicle that night and was told to bring it back in the next morning. Showed up the next morning at 8:45am with no one there. Called Bob, was told he d be back by 11 as he was getting parts so coordinated leaving my vehicle there so it could get complete.. called at 4PM, no answer. Got a ride back to the shop and no one is still there. My vehicle hadn t been touched and keys left in the side door unlocked. Absolutely foolish to truly put any trust into the credibility occurring here. Do not waste your time doing business at this location and find someone who genuinely cares about how they manage their business as well as customer service! Truly unfortunate as I ve really needed this service completed successfully but will just go elsewhere! Figured least I can do is spread word of mouth

I cannot explain how much Bob saved me. I had previously taken my car to Lee Myles in Lakewood and not only did they charge me $250 for a diagnostic but they also lied to me about the problem and wanted another $1250 saying I had to change the compressor and all this nonsense. I had a feeling something was off and decided to come to Bob. He fixed my car in one day, was super honest, found out it was only a loose cable and saved me over a $1000 dollars. If you have a/c issues, I highly recommend you pay him a visit. His honesty needs to be praised. Very hard to find. Truly amazing experience! Thank you Bob!! You rock!!

Solid service from solid mechanics. I find their pricing pretty fair having used a lot of the repair shops in Golden.Kenny was a good guy and will be sorely missed in the Golden community. His protege is keeping things running and they have always done me right.

Every time I have ever stopped into Cool Breeze Bob is happy to help me and answer all of my questions! I was so grateful today when he fixed my tire on the fly! I have been driving up and down alleys looking for a Real Estate deal and suddenly found my tire nearly to the rim. We found a huge nail in the middle of the rubber!! Bob pulled it right out and got me back on the road in a hot minute!! #OnTheRoadAgain

Was told to come here by Buddy from A Mobile mechanics because he was busy that day. Glad he did because (lord forgive me I'm spacing his name while typing this) but I believe he was the owner. Had nothing but solid info about what was going on with my vehicle, didnt try to sell me any kind of work even though he could have instead he had good stories to tell as did I and it was honestly a pleasure even though the news on my car wasn't the best. Haven't had any work done here but if Buddy recommends, I trust. And would trust this shop anyways just by the owner's character and honesty. Believe this to be a good shop you can trust.

This guy is a joke.Had an appt. He wasn t there when I arrived but he had said to put key under drivers side mat. Done. Left the car for schedule check of AC, approx 2hrs. Three hours later, after no call from him and no answer when I called 3 times, car still sitting in the same spot. When I walk in he s on the phone and holds up a hand for me to wait. I stand there for 10 min and it becomes clear it s a personnel call. Eventually he gets off, says he was just too busy to get to the car and didn t know where the keys were. Ridiculous! Waste of time. Never, ever, ever going back.

Drove out to Golden this spring to bike, and when I was done and ready to drive home, my car wouldn't turn over to start as the key was locked up in the ignition. I was parked in front of Woody's Pizza a few blocks of way and walked over to this shop. This was at the end of the day on Friday. Kenny was kind enough to walk over and see if he could figure out if it was an ignition or steering column, and if he could start the car if it was a simple thing. He couldn't get the car started (it turned out to be a complex ignition issue), so I had the car towed back to Denver. But I was grateful that he was willing to walk over and see if he could help. I basically had to force him to take $20 for his time, as he was refusing payment. If I lived in Golden, I would have taken the car to his shop for him to fix. Hopefully, good things happen to good people, which is why I'm leaving such a positive review.

Awesome guys. Had a wheel bearing blow out and cool breeze was highly recommended from other golden mechanics. They gave me a fair price and did a great job. Highly recommend.

Straightforward dialog, more-than-fair pricing, and work completed just as described (e.g. no followUp call trying to tack on "needed repairs found during repair." Seems like a good guy doing good work at good prices.

I had a bad rear wheel bearing replaced on my 09 Subaru in July 2015. It's now May 2016 and it needs to be replaced again. The car hasn't had an accident. I have found contacting these guys difficult. I'm not sure they have regular hours.

Took my car in for AC repair and radiator flush, Kenny recommended radiator replacement due to plugging of the old radiator. New lower hose clamp was overtightened when he installed it, cut hose and radiator fluid all leaked out causing car to overheat. Head gasket started leaking soon afterward and Kenny did not even offer to pay for the tow from his shop to get it repaired.

Solid repair shop and busy because they are in demand. I will be back for any repairs and recommend this shop to anyone who doesn't like being "taken" by dishonest shops.Thanks!!! See you when Murphy's law catches up to me again.
