Truck cracked a piston on a trip from Mn, ended up at bodacious diesel needed a new motor, oh yeah we can do that they said around 32k wonderful go ahead and fix it but i want better pistons , oh we can do that we can ceramic coat them i have a silicone hose so i told them need special clamps oh yeah we can do that about six months later flew out to get truck all of a sudden its 38k for the truck paid him drove down the road blew a seal on an injector he replaced it wonderful..was charged twice for water pump .unless a short block doesn't come with a water pump ? Got the truck home .coolant leak they used the wrong size clamps so I couldn t tighten clamps any more took them all off and used my own clamps pressure tested its good now ..asked them 3 times to send me specs on pistons and fuel injectors .it s obvious they re not going to do it .when they put the front bumper back on , the least they could of done is line it up with the rest of the truck .broke my light bar mount in the process .would I recommend them to anyone HELL NO

When I brought my truck to bodacious diesel, frankly I was nervous to be back at a repair shop.My experience with this shop was completely different than my previous soar experience s, of lies and months with a vehicle in the shop.They were upfront about pricing and what was needed.Every time something changed I received a phone call to explain what was needed and why.This shop performs honest, quality and professional work.My vehicle was locked up securely every night.I will be bringing all of my trucks back for any and all work.Highly recommend!

I wouldn't trust these people. They are good mechanics, no doubt. But they are also dishonest.My truck came from another shop for a diagnostic for a faulty EGR valve. I wanted a second opinion. Nobody ever told me the price for a second opinion was $240. They just said "bring it in". I had just paid $120 for a similar diagnostic. I just needed a 2nd opinion. This is happening 3 weeks after I got laid off and 2 weeks before Christmas holidays. On top of that, they quoted 14k. I got another quote for the same service from another company for LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT THEY TRIED TO CHARGE.I think they just had me come in for the free 240 diagnostic fee with every intention to run me off with an unpayable price. Free $240.

I am very happy that I found Bodacious Diesel! My 2016 3500 ram is even happier! I recently bought this truck with a warranty from a dealership. Truck end up having a blown turbo & other issues. Bodacious worked with Ally to get repairs covered through warranty. Coming from a small town in Wyoming, Bodacious makes me feel like I am home in Wyoming with the good old boys working on my truck! Bodacious Diesel did an awesome job when I broke down and was stranded with our diesel truck, a truck camper and a cargo trailer with our motorcycles in it. I was traveling to California to meet my husband for our vacation which included a half marathon and then we we're headed to see the Giant Redwoods. I thought all was lost for our vacation when I broke down. But these guys did an amazing job, even working late one day. They gave us the personal, exceptional service you won't get from any Ford Dealership, getting our truck back on the road and saving our vacation. They went above and beyond anything we expected of them. I got out there in time to do my half marathon too. They even talked me through a problem when I called them later.Thank you, Bodacious Diesel, for saving my half marathon and our vacation! We really appreciate everything you did for us!

Bodacious replaced my entire fuel system on my 20222 GMC Sierra truck, working with my insurance claim. From start to finish they kept me updated on repair and could not be happier with the repair. I will take my vehicles here without hesitation in the future. Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Bodacious. I live in Nebraska, broke down, and they were able to get me in, diagnose and properly repair my entire fuel system from the pump to the injectors. They got it done ahead of schedule, and treated me right the entire way, informing me along the way of every required repair. If you have to wait a day or two, that s not a bad thing. The service you get, is worth the wait. 100% recommend these guys, I ll be back myself.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We were in Colorado on vacation. Day 1 while driving up the mountain our truck died Bodacious Diesel came to the rescue!!! Jeremiah was AMAZING to work with. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had our truck towed to their shop and they had it diagnosed in 2 days. We extended our vacation just a few days and we re able to drive our truck home. Highly recommend this company!!! Can t say enough good things about them.

Quick turnaround on assessing my car. Very helpful and specific about what is wrong and what can be done. Unfortunately they did not tell me upfront it was going to be a $240 diagnostic fee, or I would ve just taken it elsewhere and waited a week.Edited to add: they did not tell me about the fee during all these chances -1. When I called and asked about their schedule, my issues, and told I could bring it in2. When I came to the shop and dropped it off3. When they called and quoted me all the fixes with total costI was told about the fee afterwards, when I said I was going to pick it up. Like I said, mostly positive however surprise fees make it a negative interaction. I even called back afterwards and asked if the diagnostic fee goes towards work if I was to schedule it, because again, nobody told me beforehand or explained it to me. Most shops I have worked with don t charge a fee, and if they do - it is charged up front at drop off and can be credited toward work at the end. There were multiple opportunities to tell me before I dropped my car off, and none were taken, thus the surprise - which I paid anyways.

Real deal! 100% pros. Work was excellent. Communication was excellent. After taking my 06 dodge to several different places, I'd finally had enough and went to Bodacious Diesel...I had been dealing with issues that come with an aging vehicle that other shops just wanted to put a band aid fix on..Mel ,Jerimiah , and team got to the problem and fixed it right.. Runs like new! I live in mountains but will be going 120 miles to Bodacious for oil changes and maintenance just so I know everthing will be done right..... A reliable buddy referred me to Bodacious. My F-450 had some serious issues. It doesn t take long to figure out they diesels in and out. Everything was explained, and it was a tall order, but we went all in and they cranked it out pronto. We picked it up in a week and the thing runs smooth and strong. A completely different drive. The guys at Bodacious know their stuff. They don't sugar coat things and don't add any bs to the bill. I've had two motors rebuilt and take both of my pickups to them for all repairs. Wonderful work and great guys to deal with.

Complete powerstroke replacement. Did great in an economy that is not great. Thanks.Update: after a complete engine replacement two of the new parts installed had issues. Nobody can predict if a brand new part is defective or will become defective. To their credit Bodacious stood behind their work completely and reinstalled new parts--truck now runs better than new!! Finding a trustworthy competent mechanic isn't an easy task - especially when you know NOTHING about cars. My husband's F350 went to 2 different shops before making its way to Bodacious, and although I wish we hadn't wasted nearly $1k at the first two shops, I'm glad it all resulted in us finding these guys. Jeremiah took the time to not only explain what needed to be addressed with the truck, he really helped with overall advice as to what we should do moving forward. I greatly appreciated the time he took to explain everything to me and that we can cross off looking for a new shop from our list.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I came from another shop with my first gen cummins,where they installed a rebuilt injection pump. On receiving my vehicle the truck ran terribly, was hard starting, sounded bad and the fuel economy was way down. To cut a long story short, it was obvious the shop had no intension or desire to make my truck run like it should.I went to Bodacious Diesel, where after diagnostic work were able to correctly tune in the injection pump with the engine. Now my truck runs and sounds great and back to good fuel economy.Bodacious diesel, good people, will not take my truck anywhere else.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A SHOP. They kept my truck for 6 months waiting for a part, I eventually had to put in myself only to discover that I didn't need it replaced! They then quoted me $6000 to replace the ball joints In my '08 duramax! When I finally got my truck back from them I discovered the last mechanics tools under the hood And my computer hanging loose on the wiring harness. I plan to return to Bodacious Diesel. Clear and continuous communication with Jeremiah and his team. I had a difficult time finding a shop willing to service an older ( 98) truck. I m not pleased with their service. They didn t put everything back what it should be. The fuse box cover is missing, wiring is unhooked from led lights onto the front bumper, and didn t tape around the connectors (butts). I paid about $3500.00 and they did terrible job. Will not go back to them. Lack of communicate. 2 out of 5 stars.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They were absolutely proficient in replacing the turbo charger on our deisel truck they got us back on the road in 2 days so we were able to continue our vacation. Very helpful and prices were reasonable, they also used quality replacement parts then when they were done they gave me a much needed lesson on driving through the mountains!!!Dennis Van Swol
