An epic self guided adventure! I can't think of a better way to see Utah than sleeping under the stars in beautiful remote locations. Travis provided excellent, capable vehicles and gave us a full run down on how to erect the roof tents. Plenty of camp equipment was also provided. Travis also provided a full GPS route to ensure we saw the best sights and trails. He was also on hand for any guidance mid trip. Fully recommended, a once in a lifetime adventure.

Thank you, Travis! We had the most epic trip. The Jeep was well equipped and took us to all kinds the remote areas from Moab to Durango to Gunnison. Travis was so easy to work with and ensured we were well set up and ready for adventure! I can t recommend @elementoutdoors enough! I would do it all again in a heartbeat and not change a thing. Thank you Travis!

This is a definite five star review. My boyfriend and I recently use Element Outdoors for both their jeep rental and planning services for a week long hiking and off roadinv trip in Utah and we couldn t be happier. From the moment I contacted Travis he was extremely helpful. Not only did we rent a jeep from him but we also ending using his planning expertise. I highly recommend this if you are unfamiliar with the area. He spent time ahead of the trip to meet with me to figure out exactly what we wanted to see and do and understand our level of comfort with the area. He then planned a daily itinerary for us including an overall map/suggested itinerary ideas for every day, great roads for the jeep, hikes and campgrounds, and other suggestions He provided us an iPAD with Google maps to follow with areas of interest marked. This helped us maximize our time in the area and have a source of online maps and location when we were off road with no internet.The jeep we rented with the tent topper was in great shape. The tent was so easy to set up and surprisingly very comfortable. We were also provided with everything we needed for camping which is great if you are coming in on an airplane. Travis was extremely attentive through the whole process. He met us at the hotel when we flew in, spent time to go over the jeep and camping gear, addressed questions about the area while we were on the road during the week, and met us right at the airport when we flew out.It was an extremely well planned tripped where we had nothing to worry about but enjoying the outdoors and had the flexibility with the jeep/tent combo to enjoy the beauty of the area at night and stay wherever we wanted.We will definitely be using this company again and highly recommend for someone looking for some adventure but the comfort of having someone knowledgeable to help you get the best experience!

We had wonderful experience renting a Jeep from Element Outdoors. Communication with Travis was prompt and friendly throughout the experience, and the pickup and dropoff at GJT airport was very easy. The Jeep was well equipped with a rooftop tent, sleeping bags, a table, chairs, and a good kitchen setup. All we brought was our clothes and some personal items. There is an abundance of beautiful scenery in close proximity to Grand Junction, and stargazing is amazing anywhere outside of town. Overall, it was a great experience and we hope to return again soon.

My husband and I rented a Jeep from Element Outdoors and Overland for our trip to Moab in September and we couldn't have made a better choice! Both the rig and the customer service were outstanding. Communication with Travis was easy and he made sure that all of our questions and needs were addressed. His recommendations (including a highlighted map and notes) for off-road trails changed our trip entirely. We were able to see and experience parts of Moab that we hadn't originally planned. What I'm sure would have been a great trip ended up being an exceptional trip due to Travis and Element Outdoors! We will definitely be renting again the next time we're in the area!!

What an amazing solo adventure! Travis was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. I told him a general description of what I wanted and let him do the trip planning. He put me on spots I never would have found on my own. The gladiator was a beast and handled white rim trail solo without any issues. The gear provided was excellent and it all stored securely inside the bed. The tent setup was the most solid tent I ve ever used. It had a nice mattress pad and was comfortable even during an extended mountain rain. I will definitely be renting from element outdoors in the future, and utilizing Travis s trip planning.

We started this trip in Grand Junction,CO and traveled to all 5 national parks and 2 state parks in Utaha in 7 days. We were able to camp at remote areas every night. The jeep we rented exceeded all expectations and carried us to many great locations. We were able to cover around 300 miles of off-road trails. Travis was able to point us to a few of our spectacular campsites. This was a trip of a lifetime and we are glad we chose Element Outdoors to help us get where we needed to be. The jeep was decked out with everything you need to camp for 7 days. I will definitely be using Element Outdoors on our next adventure in that area. Thanks again for the great time !!!!!!

We recently rented a Jeep Rubicon from Element Outdoors. The process was very smooth from start to finish. Our jeep was great and very well equipped. Travis supplied everything needed to make it a smooth trip. From an atlas, to a shovel, to a cooler, to a phone charger -he thought of all the little things you might need and included them. We, a family of 2 adults and 2 kids ages 11 & 10, had the most wonderful vacation exploring Moab, UT. Seeing Moab & the surrounding national and state parks from the back trails in a jeep is truly an adventure and gives you a better perspective of the area and scenery. I highly recommend renting from Element Outdoors; you won t be disappointed, and you will for sure have the best vacation! We are already thinking of coming back next year to rent the Jeep again to go exploring in Colorado. Thank you again, Travis, for allowing us to rent your jeep and have such an epic family vacation.

Element Outdoors and Travis, the owner, provided us with the Jeep and gear we needed for a fabulous outdoor adventure in Moab. The Jeep Gladiator was fully equipped to meet our wilderness camping needs and provided off-road adventure. The Jeep and Travis' suggestions took our trip to a level we could never have dreamed of on our own. We will be back with friends and family to repeat some adventure and create new ones. Travis is a gold mine of knowledge and expertise for anyone traveling to the Moab and surrounding areas.

A chance meeting led me to Element and I'm so glad. My beloved van had issues with a leak soiling and warping ceiling liner. The electrical system was a mess due to a bad install in its infancy. Never fear. Travis got the liner looking like new, replaced the insulation. Fixed the source of the leak, made multiple electrical corrections, swapped out my batteries for lithium and more. He understood my style and the van now fits it. His expertise, industry knowledge and attention to detail are superb. I also appreciated his timeliness. In and out on less than 3 weeks, unheard of in this industry. And then his shop is so interesting. Awesome rentals for exploring the desert and mountains. Very cool camping gear. A+.

I am so glad that Travis and Element Outdoors are here in Fruita, CO! They set up my Subaru Outback wilderness with a Front Runner roof rack for future adventures. He provides EVERYTHING you will need for a long weekend or a multi-day (or week) trip. Travis and Element Outdoors are outstanding and exceeded our expectations!Our daughter was able to travel with us last minute and Travis outfitted us with an extra tent, sleeping bag etc to make our experience even better!! It worked out perfectly! Travis knew exactly what we needed. He delivered our Jeep to us in Grand Junction where our flight landed and went out of his way to coordinate the return of the Jeep at our convenience in Moab at the end of our time there. Travis was extremely patient and answered all of our questions about the Jeep and how to use the rooftop tent. He consistently went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and that he was only a text away. He provided invaluable information about the area. His knowledge and expertise can t be overstated. The Jeep was amazing and performed perfectly! We had such an awesome time exploring Moab, Arches and Canyonlands. We are already talking about going back and will absolutely rent from Travis and Element Outdoors again!!

Travis couldn't have been more accommodating for us! He made the pick up and drop off super easy, he went over all the details of the vehicle and equipment and answered all questions before we took possession and even provided videos for tent set up in case we couldn't remember. I would highly recommend you check out Element Outdoors and their fleet of off road vehicles! It was the perfect option for us!

Travis was fantastic! He made sure we had all the gear we needed in the rig for our most memorable expedition, he trained us on its use, AND he gave great insider tips on where to go and what to see around Moab. The rig performed flawlessly, kept us comfortable, and most importantly, brought us home safe. Don't bother with the big-box 4WD rental shops. Go find Element Outdoors for the best! Yes - I will be a repeat customer !!

Came across Element Outdoors while trying to find a Jeep rental with a tent . I called and spoke to Travis, the owner. Super friendly and gave me ideas on where to camp as he has plenty of knowledge of the national parks. He was easy to work with on picking up the rental. He actually delivered it to me at my hotel in Grand Junction where he went over everything on the rental. The Gladiator was in great shape and everything was as advertised. I will be back and I highly recommend EO.

Vehicle was setup perfectly for travelling around Utah and Colorado, never missed a beat and was very capable. Highly recommend.

Travis built me a custom bed rack for my Gladiator. It is exactly what I needed for my overlanding pursuits. And instead of being bolted together such that it could rattle apart, it is essentially welded as one solid rack. I love it!

Just returned from an Epic 10 day adventure around Utah and Colorado with 2 mates, we each took a separate vehicle from Element, they were all well equipped and adapted for the routes we took. Travis was great from initial contact to booking, answering all our questions with ease and putting out minds at rest. He planned our route and even took care of booking a few reservable camp spots for us within national parks. The route had to be altered at the last minute due to a river flood and land slide on one of the other routes but Travis dealt with it and came up with alternatives straight away. Some of the cliff side camp spots he planned were mind blowing and the routes selected were challenging enough even for experienced Overlanders to be chalenging yet safe. He was always on hand and contactable throughout our trip and is very knowledgable with not only the vehicles and area but also a very experienced overlander. I would not hesitate to book again. Many Thanks Travis for trusting 3 British Blokes with your beautiful rigs.

Love my new tent and rack. Travis was great to work with and steered me in the right direction to make sure my needs were met. When it came time for the install he got it done efficiently and correctly. He did a run through with me, showed me the ins and outs and was great to work with and available for questions after. Excited for all of the adventures to come with my new rig!

Loved the jeep we got from Element and especially loved the help Travis gave us as we planned our route. We've been back to him a few times, from when we were just beginners in overlanding to years later as we've advanced. He's always had awesome suggestions based on our interests, and draws on his experience as a former forest ranger to tell us about off the beaten path experiences. We feel super prepared and safe knowing Travis is there to help with everything from route planning to weather contingencies. I won't go to anyone else in the area, he is just the best. Tell him what you want out of the trip and he will help customize the trip (we've told him random things like this trip we want the best vistas, or this time we're looking to go stargazing, or we want to not see any humans for days, and he always has an idea for us). Just book and get on the trail, you won't regret it.

Travis and Element Outdoors is the perfect way to book your adventure. I booked my Jeep rubicon on short notice and Travis was great about answering all of my questions to make sure I was prepared.Once I arrived Travis took the time to teach me all about the Jeep Rubicon and how to set up the rooftop tent. For anyone who is worried about the tent, setup is a breeze and the sleep experience is very comfortable.There s no better way to travel across Utah than with Element Outdoors.

Travis was great from start to finish. We rented two Jeeps for our group of six guys. The vehicles were 100% ready to go when we arrived at the airport. All camping equipment was provided. He also included 7 gallons of drinking water per vehicle and butane fuel for the camp stove.Our only task was to pick up food / drinks / ice on the way to our first trail. We were able to explore portions of the Alpine Loop and Canyonlands National Park on our 5 day quest. Travis was also a huge help with planning our itinerary.It was an unforgettable trip. I will definitely be a return customer! Thank you again Travis for making this a turn key adventure for our group!

Travis is the best! He was so helpful in planning our short stay in Moab. We were able to make the most of our off-roading adventure while staying tame enough for a novice. The Jeep performed flawlessly, he outfitted us with the gear we needed and definitely knows the area! Highly recommend, plus he seems like genuinely a great guy!Thanks Travis!!

My wife and I were just about to pull out of a parking lot in Moab when our 20 year old truck died, half blocking traffic. We were trying to reach AAA and direct cars around our disabled vehicle when Travis pulled up in a beautiful Elemental jeep and offered to tow us out of the way. Once he had gotten us out of traffic, I told him how our truck had just suddenly died, and he suggested I check the terminal connections on the battery. Sure enough, I tightened them and it started up again.Travis is a great�guy who went out of his way to help us out, really knew his stuff, and saved us a bunch of time and a�pointless trip to a garage. Next time I'll rent a jeep from Elemental rather than roll the dice with our old truck!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Travis had EVERYTHING in that Jeep. A full kitchen, chairs, a table, gps, water/food storage, etc. My girlfriend and I are both avid campers so we brought a lot of camp stuff with us. We ended up leaving most of it in our car since Travis had basically thought of everything! Everything was organized and easy to find even with all the chaos that comes from living out of a car. The Jeep was easy to use and off road with. We loved being able to explore parts of Moab and the national parks that aren t accessible for a regular car. If you re new to the area or just visiting, it s worth it to pay a little extra to have Travis give you recommendations. We had no idea where to start exploring Moab and after a brief phone call about our interests and priorities, Travis gave us the dream itinerary. 10/10 recommend and will be using his service if we re ever in the area again!
