Really excellent rooms! So comfortable! Pool and spa were nice after a long drive. Breakfast was amazing and wonderful for 4 kids and 2 adults. Bathroom was a little small, but loved that the pull out bed was in it's own little room. Felt more like a suite. Multiple TV's so adults and kids could watch at the same time.Rooms: Bathroom was a little small for 6 people, but the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.Safety: Good location. Felt really safe with 4 kids.Food & drinks: Close to restaurants. Really good breakfast. Great for family!

This was the worst place to stay! My first time staying in the awful place. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this hotel! The rooms were not vacuumed. bathrooms were not cleaned the way they should be! The bedding stunk very musty, like a dirty wet towel. The customer service was absolutely horrible! The general manager is very unprofessional(Karen) and staff was extremely rude. Disrespectful to the highest level!

Absolutely horrible service our family has been coming for several years and we enjoy swimming with our grandparents they travel from Wyoming to see us. Very unkept, hair on the shower, wrinkled blankets, and smelled very musty. Horrible service from the front desk lady while we were swimming I highly recommend that you do not choose this as a place to stay. I am a Fruita native and have never been so disappointed.

This Comfort Inn is in need of a remodel it's an older Comfort Inn and it shows. The towels in the bathroom for showering are very small more like a Motel 6 towel, and you only get 2 towels, usually it's 4, I suppose I could have called the front desk for more but I was tired after driving 12 hrs. The rooms or at least my room was very small not alot of space, the bed was so so, the room itself was clean. The breakfast was one of the worse I've had at a Comfort Inn cold scrambled eggs and sausage the warmers were not on/heating, I had to put my eggs and sausage in the microwave and so did other Hotel guest, to make matters worse the individual that prepared the breakfast could be heard in the breakfast prep area hacking and coughing lost my appetite. It's a very basic breakfast not many offerings no oatmeal which is hot water and instant packets this can't cost to much why not have it as an option?? Upgrade your breakfast and Hotel that's my suggestion.

Stayed here on August 16th while driving my son out to college. Beds were terrible, room was clean, location was good. However like others have reported I was charged 50 dollars for a broken soap dispenser after my stay. It was broken when I arrived, I bring my own soaps when traveling so I didn t think twice. The hotel just changed my card and never communicated with me about it. I had to call and question the hotel what it was for. Hotel management offered no remedy. I ll never stay here or a choice hotel again.Update. Owner always replies with the same story to everyone else he fraudulently took money from. Don t stay here.

Best was the beds- comfortable. Next the quiet location. We usually stay in Grand Junction, but Fruita is much quieter. Third, the folks at the reception desk. Fourth, the breakfast. The server was diligent and careful to meet cleanliness standards. But I have had much better motel breakfasts.Oh well, ranked by importance, breakfast didn't matter so much to me.

The hotel was maintained very well and the staff was wonderful. We got what we expected with this room . The rate was very affordable, and the accommodations were great. The beds could have been more comfortable, but at the price point, I shouldn't complain. The only complaint I have is that the pool left a funky/dirty sock odor after we dried off. It could be from the pool and hot tube having salt water instead of chlorine, but I'm not exactly sure. We were leaving while they were setting up for breakfast, so we couldn't comment on how the breakfast was, but I'm sure it would have been great seeing how well great the staff was.Thank you

Be EXTREMELY careful when you choose to stay there.. It is highly advisable to document the condition of the room by taking pictures beforehand. We got overcharged for missing items they have misplaced themselves. Wish I read other reviews before bcz clearly other guests had similar experiences. (The manager barely speaks English. It s impossible to communicate with him when there are issues).Furthermore, the room was exceedingly cramped, and the shower condition was the worst we have encountered. During our shower, the water ended up saturating the entire bathroom floor.

I stayed here after visiting the Colorado National Monument. Angel checked me in at the front desk she was very friendly and very efficient. My room is fabulous the air conditioner has the room nice and cool even though the temperature outside is 97.This is an excellent location for visiting the Colorado National Monument. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

Clean, comfortable hotel conveniently located off 70, with a Qdoba and a Wendy's right across the street. The walls seem to be unusually soundproof, as we were directly next to the elevator shaft but barely heard it. We used the Comfort Inn in Fruita as a launch point to get to Arches National Park, which is only about an hour and 20 minutes away, but it would also be a great place to stay if seeing Colorado National Monument, which is much, much closer.

Not actually pet friendly unless you want to get stuck in the worst room they offer. I paid for a suite and showed up with my dog and was told i cant stay in that room. Didnt recieve any money back and was put in the smallest worst room they offer. I have 2 kids a wife and a dog and needed the suite. Classic super stingy owner that lives at the hotel. Watch out your 50 dollar deposit will not be returned to you even if you dont break anything at all... I was sneakily charged another 30 dollars on top of my 50 dollar deposit. So 80 extra upon checking out. I was already over charged because I booked a suite!... The stain they are claiming for 80 dollars was caused by WASHABLE DOT MARKER INK that my 2 hear old son plays with. It wipes clean off of hard surfaces and washes out of any piece of cloth. It is absolutely not a permanent stain It cleans out in 2 seconds and the cleaning service is supposed to carpet clean the rooms anyways... Yet the owner felt like taking an extra 80. We stayed at the super 8 across the street for half the price and it is much more spacious and comfortable. The la quinta is also right there. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with the stingy owner at the comfort inn. I have reached out to corporate customer service to let them know how this branch is being run and how dissatisfied and disappointed my family and I are. Also breakfast sucks

We stayed two nights, separately, as we were traveling from Colorado to Utah and back. The first night was uneventful, quiet, and pretty typical. The second night we ended up in a room above the pool and we could hear kids screaming and splashing. I recommend getting another room if you end up above the pool and plan on going to bed before 10 pm, which is when the pool closes. We had a baby and a toddler so we were in bed quite early and could even hear it over our white noise machine. The breakfast had a lot of variety, but only a few hot/cooked options if that's what you like. There was bagels, yogurt, cereals, a small waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage, apple juice, milk, coffee, and more. Overall, our stays were pretty much as expected for a hotel at this price. However, a couple days later I saw a mysterious $16 charge on my account. I had to call to ask what it was about, because we didn't take or damage anything, so I had no idea what I was being charged for. When I called and found out it was about a missing pillow, and I said we didn't take a pillow, she said she would credit the charge back to us. A week later, it hadn't been credited yet, so I called again and she insisted that she issued the credit, and just to wait a little longer. More than a month went by and still no credit came through, so I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company. I probably wouldn't have bothered to write a review if it weren't for this instance. If you stay here, keep an eye on erroneous charges.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Our first stay a few years ago was great. This stay was not as relaxing. The staff is still as friendly and helpful as ever. We like the location, larger room options and the nearby restaurants. The hotel itself is getting a bit worn out. Our room was clean. We found the beds lumpy and a few things in the room didn't work. Besides the train noise, there is also a lot of noise transfer from room to room. I think the room above us had a jetted tub and it was like a jet engine for hours in the middle of the night, not a normal water noise. The many barking dogs and the dogs wandering in the breakfast room weren't great either (we're dog lovers too). The pool/hot tub were highly chlorinated and the hot tub was barely warm. We have stayed at many Comfort Inns so we weren't expecting 5 stars. We just came away tired and plan to stay somewhere else on our next visit.

Not a trustworthy hotel. I was charged $75.00 extra for a plugged up toilet that was plugged by another previous customer and accused me of flushing dog food down the toilet, which is false. Then management proceeded to tell me that he has authority to change any customer as he sees fit. What a scam. Check your bathroom before and after you leave.Noteworthy details: Not trustworthy.

The hotel was quite peaceful and quiet. Although a little dated inside, it serves its job. The employees were courteous and accommodating. The location is also close to the interstate, which is really helpful. Definitely advisable!

Not safe! We stayed here on our way to Moab and unfortunately had our trailer locks cut and thousands of dollars stolen from us while we slept. The back parking lot cameras apparently don t work. The door to our room also didn t lock closed like another review mentioned. Stay somewhere else if you want to be safe- especially if you have a trailer.

Hotel staff was great. Room was fine. Decent value. 3 stars for multiple issues with room keys. Twice I had to walk around the building to have my key re flashed as I couldn t get in back parking lot door. Then had to to have cleaning crew let us in our room that I accessed successfully 5min before. This on 2 different stays. Room keys should NOT be an issue.

This is a very clean and quiet place. They area is close to Grand Junction so you can do all of the shopping there. My only complaint was the room was small. Might be because of the 2 queen beds that were in it. Will stay here again and recommend it for anyone visiting Frutia or Grand Junction. State park across the road also.

Does the job, and the bed is pretty comfy. The hotel feels old, breakfast is bad, and you can hear people in the rooms next to you. Also, the tv in my room had no signal and I couldn t use streaming services.
