My daughter recently moved to Estes Park. The check engine light came on in her car and she was nervous to drive. They fit her in immediately and provided exceptional service diagnosing and resolving the issue. Where some might have taken advantage of a young person with no car knowledge, they were honest and the cost of the repair was very reasonable. I highly recommend Alpine Automotive and this will be my daughter's go to auto repair shop. As a parent, I really appreciate the honesy of Alpine Automotive!

Nathan the owner is one terrific mechanic, he comes from a family of mechanics. As a matter of fact I'm taking my car to him this week. I have no worries he will get my car going again

Last week our RV lost its breaks and Nathen managed to fit us in the same day we called. He also provided us excellent information on the best way to drive to ensure this wouldn't happen again. He was kind, responsive and provided excellent service. His costs were also reasonable. I have absolutely nothing negative to save about the shop. He helped to save our trip.

We were in town for vacation and the starter went out in my jeep. Nathan worked us in the day before we left, got us back on the road, and went the extra mile to explain everything. Super friendly guy. I would give Alpine Automotive 6 stars if I could!

Engine light came on/ cruise control lite flashing and new to the area. We reached out to Nathan and he got us Asap. Diagnostics/parts and labor very reasonable price. What a blessing to have him right here in the community. Thanks Nathan

Honest, Trustworthy, Thorough. Passing through Estes park on a cross country family road trip when a engine warning lights came on. Alpine fixed it fast, and thoroughly. They went above and beyond. Super nice, and trusting. If you are in RMNP and have car troubles I could not recommend them enough

Nathan at Alpine went above and beyond!! On a Friday and before making the 1000 mile drive home, our battery light went on. He diagnosed the issue that went beyond just the alternator and worked hard and late on a Friday to get us up and running and on the road early the next morning!!I have one happy crew!! Thank you so much!

Nate was referred to us by our friend a local Estes Park resident. We are from Illinois and our truck started acting up out of nowhere. Our friend called Nate first thing on Thursday morning and Nate was willing to squeeze us in just to hook it up for a diagnostic check. He made no promises but at least we would have an idea as to what we had to do next. Around 11am that same day Nate called our friend and told us that the repair was simple an hour long job. He told us he had the part and he could squeeze us in before closing business hours. He not only fixed our truck but kept us on track to return home the next day. Nate not only is a top notch mechanic but an amazing human being. Thank you again and keep up the great work!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I can't say enough good things about Nathan. He is the ultimate car care professional. My daughter was working in the Estes Park area for the summer and had several auto issues. Nate discussed prior repairs with my mechanic in Indiana and coordinated a warranty repair. He made me feel at ease and confident about the work being done.

Nate is a great mechanic. We recently had friends visiting us who had issues with their vehicle, unable to make the 900 mile trip back home. With one phone call, Nate graciously diagnosed problem and repaired the vehicle that same afternoon. I was driving through Estes Park on my way over Trailridge Rd when the oil light came on in my car. Now this has happened before (even with regular oil changes) so we keep extra oil in the back. I pulled over and for the life of me could not get the oil cap off. I Googled local repair shops thinking maybe someone could help me and that is how I found Alpine Automotive. The gentleman (Nathan? I'm bad with names...) who helped me not only got the cap off but proceeded to fill the tank for me and then educated me as to why this keeps happening to our car. Thank you for your kindness and help! I truly appreciate it!!!

I came to Estes, Co for a getaway. Driving here, I started having car issues it s all right to Estes my car continue to get worse and leaving me no choice but to have it checked out. Being here as a tourist I was hesitant to have it serviced but decided to go with Alpine automotive, the shop was pretty busy, Nathan said he would run a diagnostic check. He was able to order the part and get me up ad running. He was honest and fair. We were on a road trip from Texas and our radiator busted. Read good reviews about alpine auto so we stopped in. Nathan was nothing short of professional. They were very busy but managed to have me on my way with a new radiator the following morning. Alpine auto provided exceptional service at a very fair price. I would highly recommend Alpine Auto!

Nate at Alpine came through for me yet again. I was in Moab when my jeep broke down. I called him for advice and even though he was very busy with customer work, he took the time to walk me through the steps l needed to do, to fix the problem and get me back on the road. Nate can always be counted to put his customers first.

I've been here a few times over the past couple of years and the service is amazing! I've not needed more than an oil change but he checked out the rest of the car and let me know that a tire was about to be worn out and recommended places to get that replaced. Nathan gave me piece of mind. I was driving back to south Texas and wanted to have my car looked over before I made the journey home. He changed the oil, topped off all the fluids in my car, as well as checking the air filter and looking over everything. Definitely made me feel better when I was headed home.

Nathan and ALPINE AUTO were helpful and prompt looking over my issue. Nathan recommended a local welder who (hopefully) can address my problem for a lot less than the Subaru dealer quoted. I will return to ALPINE the next time I need help.

I m on vacation and my alternator gave up as we drove through Colorado. The first repair shop in Durango missed it, but Nathan didn t. He got the car fixed and running for us so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. AND he squeezed me in on a busy day for him. I m incredibly grateful!!

We were in Estes Park for a family reunion at the YMCA when the alternator went out. Called Alpine and asked if we could get it in, though they were extremely busy, I was given their undivided attention. They took the car in and finished up after hours, all in order to get me taken care of. To top it off, their prices were very reasonable. I never write reviews, but really want to get these guys more business. Thanks for everything

Put me down as another 5 star rating for Nathan and his expertise, honesty and friendly service. Asked to check out our RVs brakes during the 4th of July week (2017), we couldn't have asked for better service, courtesy, and just, well, a GREAT experience. Are you kidding me? If you need RV service anywhere near Estes Park, Colorado, go to Alpine Automotive and you will be posting a 5 star review, too. I don't throw 5 stars around willy-nilly, so believe this review. I'm a happy man knowing that my brakes are OK and my wallet isn't emptied, either! Thank you, Nathan!

Very good mechanic, small town alot of business for just one guy. I appreciated the outcome I got from Nathan, I know with whatever questions we have he gives us honest answers an opinions. Too many cars, not enough time for just one guy. Thanks Nathan!

So glad I brought my car here! Nathan kept me updated on what he was going the whole time my car was there, and also told me some things to look out for in the future. The price was very reasonable for the work he did, and I know exactly where I'll be bringing my car from now on!

I have a similar story to the ones before me. I was on short overnight vacation in Estes park, and needed to leave the next day to make it to Rapid City. On the way up to Estes, the dreaded check engine light came on my car, and as you can imagine, my heart sank, and you feel a little sick thinking of all that might entail. I was able to take my car into Nate at Alpine Automotive the next morning; he answered the phone right away and assured me he would be able to take a look. Being away from home, you are definitely at the mercy of others, and in this case it turned out to be a good thing, since he thoroughly checked out my car, scanned for codes, and determined it was a simple sensor issue that would not affect the drive-ability of my car. He gave me advice on what needed repaired, explained it thoroughly, and then cleared my light for me. It was definitely worth his reasonable diagnosis fee to have that peace of mind during the remainder of my trip, and yes, I had the sensor replaced as soon as I got home, and I still made it to my appointment in Rapid City on time due to the fast service provided by Nate. I'm sure a lot of you reading this might have broken down on vacation, and don't know where to turn. My experience here was a good one and I left smiling. Thanks Nate!
