Called and spoke to Eric about needing a minor repair on my car and wanted a second opinion from them, and man am I glad I called. Eric and his whole team are friendly, trustworthy, and reliable! I will always contact them for anything needed for my car. They were honest, quick, and went above and beyond to help me when I was very stressed out about my car. 100% recommend!

Had to make an unexpected trip to Colorado to deal with a death in the family. I needed to get a 2007 Toyota Tundra looked over and ready for a cross country trip to PA. On a recommendation from a local resident, I stopped by and had an appointment the next day. Truck was done same day and total cost was LESS than I was anticipating as my family has a repair business in PA. I would recommend this establishment to anyone (local or not). You wont be disappointed and will become a regular customer.

I have been very happy with the services I have received from this spot. They are very quick & thorough, and the people working there are very kind, knowledgeable, and great at communicating and being transparent with car problems and pricing. A very convenient, family-run place that is very affordable. I will definitely be making this my go-to for car servicing!

So grateful for Import Car Care. Began having car trouble "Friday at 5 pm." Eric ran diagnostics and gave very helpful insight and direction. The team was also very accommodating and was willing to help however they could. Would absolutely recommend for car care needs!

I deliver parts to Lafayette Imports. I saw how they interacted with their customers, but most importantly how happy they were with the quality of work.My 2009 Silverado needed to go in for a bad wheel bearing, CV axle and pads and rotors. Eric worked with me amazingly and in a timely manner to make sure I got my vehicle back. He went above and beyond. He even worked with my warranty company. My truck is in again, getting new control arms. Prices are amazing for the quality of work done. I would recommend this place and will be going for any other work. They tell you how it is, they sugar coat nothing, but most importantly they have moral. Thank you Lafayette imports!

Truly incredible seeing a shop where everyone is happy doing the work. They are able to fix cars as an artwork and get creative to make sure the job is done better than anywhere near by.

Came in with my old 2005 Sebring after smelling gas really strongly. Heather at the front desk was very helpful and friendly and got me in next morning. Steve and his team are honest and affordable. We took our car in suspecting an oil leak based on drops in garage... nothing found. We asked if oil needed changed. They looked and said no. Cost..nothing. Where will I take my car for any repair? Here. They have done tons of work on various vehicles and always a great experience. Support this great local business!

The crew here have taken great care of a number of our cars - a Toyota, Subaru and Ford. They work on them all. I found the owner to be professional and friendly! All my work was performed as promised. It was on time and for the quoted price. I'll go back and I'll recommend this shop to family.An update, a couple years have passed since I've visited. Some faces have changed but this is still a good recommendation. I trust and like the folks who work here.

Sloppy without attention to detail. My vehicle was returned with dirt, finger prints all over inside door and the work completed was unsatisfactory. I plan to take it back for them to do the job right. Pretty confident I've been overcharged on the past 3 jobs. Looking for a new repair shop. Steve seems super nice but that doesn't forgive my overpriced bill or poor work.

After service, the car wouldn't start. Then while driving away the front end was out of wack (tire rotation on Audi) and it had to be brought back in. Then after miles down the road the splash pan was hanging from the undercarriage. Do not recommend.

I bought a vehicle and had no way to know if the timing belt had ever been changed so I took it in to see if I needed one. I asked the owner to call me and let me know if required and new belt. He didn't. I called several times throughout the day to see what the status was and he kept saying they haven't had a chance to look yet. At the end of the day I called and he said it was done. I couldn't believe he went ahead with the repairs without my approval. A timing belt should cost around $300, my bill was $823.79. What a shock!Even more shocking, when I went out to the garage to get my vehicle the mechanic told me that it didn't need a timing belt but they had put one in anyway. I was horrified that the owner had not done what I had asked, lied to me, and didn't get approval for the repairs that were unnecessary. I wasn't even given a final quote so that I could compare to another shop.When I tried to resolve the issue with him I received a couple letters written with misspelled words and horrible grammar with no clear explanation.This has been the worst experience at shop that I have ever had and wouldn't trust this guy with a tricycle. He was dismissive, ripped me off and pretty much said too bad afterwards. There are plenty of other reputable places that do good work and this certainly is not one of them.In addition, he seems to have a special disdain for female customers.

One of those places where your car comes out with more problems than it went in with.I went in to get some stuff fixed on my car and I told him to fix everything and it came out with a loose squeaky bell or right side window that doesn t work anymore oh and my alignment wasn t any better on top of that my right side tire is making a washing noise because they replace the brakes wrong. I m just going to another place to get these things fixed now.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been taking my car to Lafayette Auto Imports for 5 years now. Steve and his team are always quick, knowledgeable and honest. I moved out of town a couple of years ago, but I still go to his shop because I know that the quality of service they provide is uncommon.

After another shop literally quoted me, "not worth fixing," I asked for Lafayette Imports to run their test (which was only $56) for my vacuum system on my Passat. The other place said it wold be "thousands of dollars just to figure out" and Lafayette had it fixed for under $500! Crazy fast service as well. With my Passat nearly over 200,000 miles I will definitely use this shop over the two others I have used in the past. Better prices and turn around!

We went to LICC on recommendation of a neighbor. Older caravan was loosing coolant and overheating. They replaced the radiator, and we thought our troubles were over. Coolant was still dripping on the garage floor, and when we went to Christian Brothers a few days later for wheel alignment, they found the water pump was leaking, and the oil was 3 QUARTS low! Also needs the valve cover gaskets replaced. I trust a mechanic to do a routine check on things like fluid levels and any needed work, not just get me in and out as fast as possible (The work on the radiator took 5 days). The owners/workers weren't very friendly and they seemed overworked. Not much attention to detail or customer service skills in my book. Not going back, sorry.

What an amazing and HONEST group of guys. Took our car in due to an engine light indicating a bad alternator. Rather than immediately saying we should replace the alternator they suggested it might just be an issue brought on by the extreme cold weather. They were right once the weather got above 10 the light didn't come back. Thanks for not taking advantage of the situation and wasting my money. I will be back with all my vehicles.
