Owner was willing to let me pick his brain for a solution to a dilemma I had removing a clutch line. Said he was retiring, selling the place off. Anyway, nice gent, figured I'd see him off with a 5 star review. Enjoy your retirement!

These guys are the real deal. Very honest and they do outstanding work. I shopped around and found their prices to be very competitive. I would highly recommend S&A Transmissions.

Great customer service! I went in to drop a part off to get repaired and they said have a seat we will get on it now. It was lunch time and I believe it was the manager or owner and got it done for me. I will continue to use S&A for all transmission service.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Shell and Mark run a great shop. My Jeep was with Charlie at C.A.R.S up the road but after looking at the rear end, he consulted Shell who took time out of his day to go to another shop and diagnose the vehicle.Had it towed over to S&A, they very quickly got it repaired and did a fine job. After completely rebuilding the rear end of my Jeep, I felt that the price was more than reasonable. Most 4 Wheel shops would likely have cost an outrageous amount and I feel good knowing that I wasn t screwed trying to get out the door.Also, the shop is super cool inside and they have a dog. So in addition to trusting their workmanship and very friendly service, there s foosball and a little canine mascot to boot.

I had my jeep towed here from another shop that was not equipped to do the work it needed. They had to get the parts at a salvage yard and rebuild to use in my car. Excellent work and service! I wouldn t go anywhere else. And they don t rake you over the coals. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

I genuinely can't say enough about this shop. Fast, honest, and incredibly competent. Diagnosed a weird problem and had me fixed and out the door in 5 hours. Mark was great. They rebuilt my transmission on my Ford F-150 a little over a year ago. Works great but had a Trans Fault code come up. They accommodated me immediately and covered under their warranty.Very few businesses accommodate after the initial sale of item or service. S&A went the extra mile and earned my loyalty.

FYI , I was in the automotive business for over 25 years before starting a small business and was looking for a shop that would do the work on my small fleet with a fair price and quality of work that I could trust and expect. Thought I found it ! Had my first vehicle done with no issues .Brought another one of my trucks for a differential rebuild .Pros : Truck was done on timeNo mechanical problems and quality of work , so far so good .Cons: No communication and lack of customer service .Shell , the owner , gave me a verbal estimate . Never got a written estimate as requested not even a phone call on total of repair . They went ahead and they did the work anyway must have thought I had an open check book . Finally got a call after I had called again , that the truck was done, on time , with a total that was not approved or discussed. Had arrangements to meet Shell the owner to pick up the truck and discuss the difference in pricing he told me originally and hopefully work things out . He never showed or returned my call . Lane the service writer was great . So I emailed Shell , expressing that even after the lack of communication I would split the difference and he would not do it . Wanted to put this to rest . For $200.00 that he would have had to refund he lost a good customer and possible referrals for the future . They know their stuff but you may pay the price .

In a world where it's difficult sometimes to know who to trust, this shop and the owner Shel are people who do the right thing even when it may cut into their bottom line. Three times in the past couple years I've faced potential catastrophic issues with both of our family vehicles and Shel and his staff have taken the time to diagnose and fix the root problem without the incredible cost that other shops have quoted. An honest shop with fair owners. They rebuilt the transmission in my automatic 2005 Jeep Wrangler and did an amazing job! They treat me like family and actually care about my well being. I love this place and will continue to take my vehicles to them as long as I live in the Denver metro area.

My family was on an outing in Denver. Ended up with car trouble and they received 5 star service! Honest and above the standard service! Glad they found S&A to help their dilemma. Made it home safe in Pueblo!

Excellent work, fair price, fine service. My 2001 Toyota Corolla 5-speed is a peppy, fun vehicle to drive again. Also, it's 3 blocks from an RTD stop on Federal Blvd. I discovered it because a friend of mine is a professional auto mechanic, and he brings all his transmission work there.

Swung by to have them check a new "squeaky" sound coming from my Corolla clutch. They made some suggestions and took the car for a ride. I lubed the clutch w some white grease and that seemed to do the trick. They charged me nothing. Will definitely be bringing my car back if I need anything done to the transmission.

My go-to place for all things automotive. Are there faster places? probably. But I have old cars and they don't try to upsell me on every little part. I can tell them what I want done, and not worry about them saying, well it's $1,200 more because we saw that your pre-famulated amulite baseplate was causing problems with your panemetric fam.
