I brought my Tesla Model 3 here at the end of 2022 after I was rear-ended. Parts took forever (not their fault at all), but Gerber s staff was really good at communicating with me and very kind / helpful. Overall working with them was a pleasant experience. It s also convenient they have an Enterprise rental car location right across the parking lot.The issue is with their quality of work. When I got the car back, the amount of drips and orange peel in the paint suggested they do very little QA on their paint jobs. They wet sanded / compounded it and fixed the initial issues. The motor for the trunk lid began making weird sound after their repair and over time the panel gap on the trunk got worse.2 years later, the paint was chipping and peeling all over the bumper. This was a garage-kept car that isn t abused. I had to take it to a paintless dent repair (PDR) specialist to get a door ding removed in the quarter panel, and was told the quality of the respray on that panel was so bad, he wouldn t be able to do any repair without pulling up paint. He also showed me several areas where there was dirt UNDER the clearcoat. Definitely disappointing. If you care about the longevity of the repair on your vehicle, DO NOT go here.

Had my paint done at Gerber years ago and had the paint crack, which is not good. However, without any hassle they admitted they used a sealer years ago that they found to be faulty and completed the warranty repairs, which was great! It looks great again and Kerry was great to work with. I ll be back if I ever need to, but fingers crossed that I don t need collision repair again!

I would not recommend Gerber Collision to anyone. This past week I was involved in a hit and run and when I called my insurance one of the places they recommended was Gerber. When they called me to set up an appointment I spoke with someone named Brittany. She sounded very annoyed and had an attitude. The soonest they could get me in for an estimate was mid January. I told her that didn't work with my schedule and the next day that would work they didn't have availability until February. It's not feasible to drive around in a damaged car for over 2 months. I called my insurance company and they also recommended Caliber Collision and they were able to get me seen an get in estimate in less than 2 days. If you need your car fixed just go across the street to Caliber, they were very friendly, prompt and accommodating. Caliber asked if I was okay and showed compassion and now I'm able to get my car fixed in less than a week!

Gerber did an absolutely amazing job with the front end damage to our Ford Escape. The work they performed is truly next level, everything they touched looks brand new, it's like the accident never even happened. The service was great too, and most importantly, the cost was reasonable, huge amount of value here, very highly recommended, excellent work!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting

Went into getting estimate. Just an estimate for hail damage.Showed up 20 minutes early (2:40) for an appointment at 3, got checked in, and sat down. Then at 3:15, I went outside to get some fresh air, and over heard her asking a question to another customer about normal operation, that she didn't ask me. (That customer was ushered through and helped right away.)I follow up and ask her "am I supposed too do that as well?" ( Mind you the lot was full when I pulled in, so I just parked in a spot) she pulls back, says "um yea, I thought you already did that"......like what?!?!Then Im picking up my car, she didn't great nor attempt to help me, I just sat and waited for the adjuster to notice that I was there. So, she just let a customer sit in the lobby for 30 minutes plus, without checking-in and making sure everything was okay. How does the receptionist not make sure she asked the same basic questions to every customer? After all she is the first face you see when in the place of the business and the main customer service. If that how the receptions works..how's the rest go? Piss poor in my opinion.Update. they didn't do a proper inspection on my car... Wasn't able to put it "under the light" so they estimated me three to four weeks, but couldn't guarantee. Fast forward I get an update my car is 99% done but it's taken 2 extra days, at that 99% to get the finishing touches done 2 months after the first post.Service: Body & Trim

I brought my Tesla in for repairs. First of all, not all places have the ability, expertise, and authorization to make repairs on the Tesla. Gerber does. Secondly, they have a delightful, helpful, and understanding receptionist named Laura to help you on getting your repairs started. When I left my car with them, they said that I would probably get my car back that Friday. After a more thorough inspection, they discovered there needed to be additional repairs. Tony kept me updated through text message what they were doing and when they expected it to be done. I am expecting my car to be finished by this Friday. I will be a week later than I originally thought, but I will be happy to have my car in its original condition.

I have in the past though the company was really good because of my past experience in Grand Junction. Unfortunately this is not the case over here. My insurance recommended that I call them to get an estimate on my car. They called set up appointment for me. Twenty minutes later I get a phone call saying that they couldn't look at my vehicle whatsoever because it was old and parts were discontinued. I was stunned. Then I was told to go to a mom and pop shop to get an estimate. Warning if you're vehicle is older than 2010, don't even bother calling.

Gerber has the best customer service. I live in Wyoming and was trying to find someone to do the repairs after I got re-ended since we do not have a repair shop closer then Colorado. After looking at reviews of different auto body repair shops, that are approved to work on Tesla, I decided to give them a call. They were not only kind to me before my estimate but throughout the entire process. (Yes I know there are closer shops to Wyoming than Englewood, but their customer service made me not want to take it to anyone else). They kept me updated and worked with me on my towing schedule, and all of my insurance needs. They told me that they would need to order parts, but the service could take longer if the damages were more than they could see, which is completely understandable. My appointment was on February, 7th, and I got a call on Tuesday, February, 14th that it was done. Sara and Nick kept me updated with texts and courtesy calls. They were so amazing, and I would recommend anyone that needs collision work done on a Tesla to take it to them.

I was told that since I had an open claim, I was told to email an estimate but wasn't given an email address. I asked for an email so I could have the correct email address to send it to. I was then told she would email me, so I had it. The email was never sent to me.

I went in for an estimate and I thought things were organized and didn't have to wait long. The lobby felt and looked hospitable. I anticipate my vehicle will be in good hands.

I took my Tesla Model 3 in for repairs after getting rear-ended. The estimate process was fast and efficient. They had a contract with my insurer Allstate that allowed the process to proceed seamlessly after they found additional damage once the bumper was removed. One thing the did, and I don t know if it was them or Tesla that did it, but I got emails from Tesla whenever parts were shipped from Tesla to the shop, which gave me information about the status of the parts order, any delays from Tesla, and when the parts would arrive. They kept in touch with me regularly via text message as to the status of the repair, which was very helpful. And the repair looks as good as new. Plus I got it two weeks earlier than they originally thought. I hope I never have to go to a collision shop again, but I would defiantly go back if I needed to.

<<< Corey left me stranded!!! >>>I used Gerber Collision because it was recommended by my insurance company. Booking the appointment to drop off the truck was easy and uneventful. I was notified that the truck was ready today and to come pick it up.I was shocked at the status of my car that was "ready." I did a walk around with Corey (the Shop Foreman). The explanation I received about deep scratches on "new" parts, left behind masking tape, unpainted parts, missing bolts and screws, and NEW damage to the car that wasn t there when I dropped it off was "these are OEM parts and it came this way yeah, it will puff out... this is normal and we cannot do anything about it..." I was literally cut off every time I tried to say anything, I kept asking if I could speak now and you guessed it I was cut off mid-sentence. I ended by saying "fine, just have your explanations to my concerns put in writing and I will take the truck and deal with my insurance company." The answer I received was "I can't do that, I have to talk to a manager."We walked back into the office and Corey slammed the paperwork on the front desk and said "I don't know what to do!" and walked away. The nice young lady, at the front desk and I looked at each other puzzled and I told her I guess I have to call my insurance company". I ended up leaving my truck there and had already returned my rental car. They are not able to get me one again right away so Uber to work it is. THANKS Gerber Collision for the amazing customer service .Please note: This issue is still pending; I might update this review later if/when the issues are resolved.Note: two day after leaving this one star review and contacting my insurance company, I was able to get on the phone with the manager. He never personally wronged me nor does he owe me an apology. I am in a rental arranged by the manager until the issue is resolved. No contact nor an apology from the horrible customer service from Corey and others.

As a broke college student who had to pay out of pocket, I was expecting lots of additional charges or extra work done on my car. This was not the case! The shop was honest with me on what needed done right away and what could wait or did not need done if it didn't bother me. The staff treated me with respect and were extremely professional. I dropped my car off the night before spring break, with the estimated return to be a week later. However, they fixed my car faster than expected and returned my car to me within three days! Reasonable prices, reasonable repair time and a high degree of professionalism. I highly recommend using Gerber Collision!

I had some damage to my front bumper from an unsecured load and this was the only shop that was both State Farm and Tesla certified. When I brought my car in for the estimate I realized I also had some hail damage. I received estimates for both and booked my car in for service. I was lied to and told it takes three months to get Tesla parts in. After speaking to other Tesla owners and hearing about their experiences it is not true it takes three months for Tesla parts. I get a call about a week before my appointment time that the parts were in and confirmed my appointment. When I brought my car in the front desk confirmed my booking for the bumper only. I asked about the hail repair and she said she didn't have it in the system. I said the parts were supposed to be ordered three months prior. The woman who quoted me originally asked me to forward her the quote she sent me. After looking it up they informed me the quote was so old that it had been closed out and the parts were never ordered. I took the first available appointment they had, then they tell me the quote was too old when the parts were supposed to be ordered when I made the appointment.

Very nice people working there. Made a miserable experience into a little more pleasant. It took about a month to repair my car. They sent me regular updates on the status of my repair. My car came back looking great, I was glad I brought my car to them.

I highly recommend this shop.My black Silverado was repaired at Gerber on 6750 S.Dawson Circle back in February. I waited to complete this review until I had enough time to wash and clean my truck several times. I m simple very happy I made that decision, Gerber was nothing less than the best. They provided caring professional service and superior workmanship. When I had it estimated Doug explained they are writing to do what s best for the truck and the tech Val said its what he would do for his own. When I dropped off they went over it with a fine tooth comb marking every imprefection and confirming what work was being done. They gave me an estimated time of completion and was done earlier than expected. Jason kept me informed of the repair progress and answered all my questions. When I picked it up it was beautiful they even touched up a couple nicks and removed a couple paint scuffs. Daphne called me when it was ready and had my paperwork ready. I was happy then with the job and am still smiling. And that is saying a lot from an old body man and painter that has a critical eye for perfection and wanting nothing less than having my truck back to its original state technically and visually.Thank you Gerber your 6750 S.Dawson Circle is a an awesome group.

This was a great experience even though I had damage to my car which is never a fun thing. They kept me updated the where my car was at in the repair process via text. Drop off and pick up were so easy. Staff is very friendly, Carma and Troy are wonderful!

The worst experience i have had at a body shop. They are Tesla certified but have no business working on these. Secons time we took our Model S and gave it back to us with the door popping out. Over spray everywhere. Did not even offer to fix a $100 dent when they got in over 20k from insurance. Also charged us out of pocket expenses when they could of easily covered with insurance money. Just wait for Tesla and do not even think about coming here!

They are the best auto body shop. They have worked on two sets of hail damage and one deer throughout the years and now working on rear ended vehicle. Great work, never any issues afterwards. Wonderful and helpful staff that keeps you well informed throughout the process.

Do NOT take a fleet vehicle to this shop!! I had a MINOR fender bender and they took 2 weeks to fix it. They blamed the fleet company but the fleet company never received paperwork and actually called them with a PO number to authorize the repair. Tom could not tell them a single thing about the car. No idea about the tear down, cost of repair, nothing - he needed 1+ hour to get back to them. Plus you get barraged with texts about the status of your repair (my kept telling me the repair was on track) - which according to Tom they have no control over. Then why do I get texts from GERBER?? I expected my car last Friday -which would have been 5 DAYS for a minor repair. Instead I am hoping to get it this Friday....Horrible customer service - which they blame on dealing with a fleet vehicle. My suggestion is take your fleet car elsewhere!!!

Worst experience ever. I ended up picking up my car 6 days after dropping it off due to awful communication/customer service. Highly recommend going somewhere elseUpdate: No, I have not heard from a Troy. The only person I spoke to was a woman running the front desk who stated on my 4th time calling to see why my car wasn t being worked on well it had been very hectic around here . Thanks for the excuse, not helpful. This further supports my experience of terrible customer service/communication and a coined response from the national head quarters which I have seen on other posts.

My wife's 10 months old car got hit in the rear and we used these guys as they were recommended by the other guy's insurance company. They did a decent job but we could tell were very busy and rushed to get their cars out of the door. One star off for forgetting to reattach one of the interior panels which popped in easily and missing one of the little clips that attaches the plastic trim around the wheel well, i'm going to probably have to get one from the dealer. Time will tell how the repair holds up.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I second the opinion someone else gave about horrible desk service. I would extend that to say the estimator man wasn't exactly friendly either. I work in the insurance industry, and if one of my customers told me about an experience like I had at this place, I would forward that up the management chain quickly, because my company takes partnered insurance repairs shop complaints seriously.First, when I dropped my car off at the shop for repairs, the estimator said I couldn't leave the vehicle there for the repairs. I had just had a discussion with my insurance company about how the vehicle wasn't safe to drive and I didn't want a ticket. I won't go into details, but the police told me he could give me a ticket for having my mirror broken, something about "impairing my vision". The estimator just laughed and said "that's the first time I've heard that, and I've been doing this a long time". And went on to say, "Cars used to only come with one mirror!". So I had to fight them a little bit to get me to leave my car there and pick up my rental car. When the repairs were done, they called me TEN (10) minutes before they closed on Friday and told me my car was ready to be picked up and that if I didn't come get it that night, I'd be stuck with paying the rental bill all weekend. I told them that I was at work until 6:30 and could do nothing about it, and also said I didn't think I was given an ample chance to go get my car, even if I WASN'T at work. I fought them on this, and then one lady apologized and said that wasn't enough time to expect someone to get to the shop, so I could come by the next morning. The next morning, a Saturday, I had a meeting I attend from 10-11:30am every Sat but told the shop I would be coming right after that. They called me three (3) times, asking where I was, leaving nasty voicemails each time. One time they called when I was in the meeting, so I couldn't answer. They called me soon after my meeting, when I was on my way to their shop. I told them I was on my way, they asked how long I thought I was away and where exactly I was. I said I wasn't sure, maybe 10 minutes. Then the lady got REAL rude and cut me off saying, "Listen, I can't even wait 10 minutes. If you're not here in the next 5 minutes I am locking the door and you will have to pay for your rental car all weekend on your own and pick up your car on Monday!" She also went on to say, "There were a lot of people mad that you left your car here just because of the broken mirror" - referencing my first issue with the insurance company's assertion to me that they would cover the rental and I'd be fine to leave it at the shop. ONE OF THEIR APPROVED PREFERRED NETWORK SHOPS TOO!Of course, no one at my insurance company is there on the weekends, so all I could do was leave a message and wait for Monday. In the meantime, I'll just stress out worrying that I will have to be paying $100+ for 3-4 days of rental as my car sits in the shop all because of this mess and a poor excuse for customer service. I see why people gave this place 1 star. I previously used Ed Bozarth Chevy for repairs and they were great, just not on the "approved" list.I'll be certain NOT to ever go back to Gerber Collision, and I'll be making sure my insurance company knows about it as well.DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!

I went for an estimate. Scheduling and evaluation went smoothly. They have the process down. Just so others know, you cannot go inside a waiting room. But I was with the car while it was being examined. The time went by quickly and they just sent out the estimate same day when they were finished with paperwork details.

By far one of the worst customer service experiences from a manager, ever. Which is funny because the manager is supposed to be the one to make things right, correct? This shop decided to jump the gun and started to disassemble my Nissan Juke (while breaking my fender molding in the process) before my insurance company decided to total my vehicle. Once they found out it was totaled they gave my car to me as is without my fender molding attached, without mentioning that my moldings were in my trunk and without mentioning that they had broken them.I was also instructed to wait on my vehicle because it was being washed and when it was delivered to me it still had marker, sap, bugs on the grill and didn t look like it had been washed at all. Anyway, I went in to speak to someone once I noticed my fenders missing and they sent someone out to put them back on. However, they re not very secure because the clips were broken upon disassembly. Mind you I went in for hail damage and there was nothing originally wrong with the fender molding! Evan the manager came out to address the issue and made it abundantly clear that things break during the process and that he is there to operate a business. But what successful business can continue without customer service? He said I could purchase new fenders for my Juke but again, why should I pay $75 (in the cheap end) each for something that wasn t broken to begin with?I ve read the reviews on here and one of the businesses responses to a review was that Customer Satisfaction is very important to us . I now know from firsthand experience that this comment definitely didn t come from Mr. Evan himself.

The receptionist is very rude, and has no idea what you can and cant do like leaving your car for an estimate. She argued with me and them she came back to advise me i was correct on the information i gave her. We have taken our cars here for years. I did talk to Troy the manager and this has been resolved.

I would have rather waited until January for the shop nearest my house to have an opening. Instead I drove 45 minutes south to this shop. Horrible quality, horrible work, took 2 different try's to get the work completed to any level of satisfaction by myself or my insurance companies standards. This place is all about quantity over quality. They are incapable or repairing a vehicle to its original quality. Being told by the manager that we are only a repair facility and that dirt and debris are commonNever returning to this place

WOW!!! These guys are fantastic! I can't rave about these guys enough. I had rear ended someone and what I thought was a small amount of damage ended up being a fair amount of damage. Jordan really WOWED me as he made sure to call me every Tuesday and Thursday with extensive updates regarding if parts were ordered, what had been received an with an anticipated completion date. He and all their staff WOWED me again!!! The car was done even prior to the date they promised. Should I need another body shop, there is only one in my book to WOW me! I will highly recommend them to anyone.
